Rumble! The sound of thunder rumbling sounded out following this blue glow.

At these words, Edam's eyes grew focused and immediately reacted as he instantly thought inwardly.

'Yamote, take care of her...' With that, he gave a light push at Eri with his hand as she was pushed into the gate.

"Eden-nii!" And it closed down in the blink of an eye.

Rumble! Boom!

And then, from the blond-haired guy's palm, a very wide stream of lightning rushed like a cannon of energy to pulverize everything.

"[Lightning flash!]" Swoosh!

But, Edam who was facing him had already clenched his hand into a fist as it shone in contrast with an intense and bloodthirsty red light.

"[Obliterate]" 

With this, he with a formidable might punched out!

Zweng! Boom!

In contrast to the massive stream of lightning rushing… from Edam's punching fist surged out a streaming and powerful wave of red energy, blasting forward just as strong and as quick as the blond-haired guy's attack.

The two instant attacks instantly met and violently clashed against one another.

Booooom!!!

The clash between the two forces results in an incredibly powerful explosion that blasts the forest to smithereens in a hundred wide radius.

Swing! From seemingly nowhere, the blond-haired guy flickered and appeared in a flash of blue lightning.

As he looked at the forest, his face had a rather incredulous expression for a split second before it vanished.

"Ya- Yahaha! Did you die? That wasn't too shabby for a lowly being…!" His mouth twitched as he laughed out loud.

"...Heh I'm on the contrary, rather disappointed, is that all a deity can do, Mr. God…?" From above the destroyed forest, Edam was slowly floating down as he looked at the blond-haired guy from above.

"You… You… what?" The guy looked at him with a very shocked expression.

In contrast, Edam was looking at him with a quite annoyed expression.

'Lightning expelled me out of the plane and now lightning welcomes me back or what…? Do I have so few affinities with lightning? Even though I rather like thunder…' 

Since the last accident, Edam came to have a rather irritated expression when he thought of lightning.

'And this guy…' His eyes became clear as he observed this Mr. God. 'This devil fruit is goddam powerful… If I remember it well, it should be one of the most powerful Logia…'

He wiped those thoughts and then asked this guy.

"Hey… you, what's your name, even a 'God' should have a name right?"

"Yahaha, I forgot to present myself? I am the Almighty Eneru…" The Eneru said as he swung his staff around.

"Eneru huh, why did you attack me? I just wanted to return home, so why the killing intent?"

"Yahaha, stranger, you dared trespassed into my territory, and you expected me to let you go like this? Yahaha!"

"..." Edam was silent for a moment. "...You better let me go…" 

"Hah?" The blond guy raised an eyebrow.

"You should have seen it, don't you? An all-out battle between us would be devastating for your country, surely you don't want that isn't it?" Edam explained while glancing at the forest, clearly hinting at him to take a look at the destroyed landscape.

Edam was the type to like to make "big move" to fight usually, but destroying islands was way too much of a price to pay in his opinion.

"...?" The blond guy glanced at the forest and then smirked without care.

"Oh, that?" He said and then burst into laughter. "Yahaha! I couldn't care less, this isn't even my country. I only took the command to live in for a while, this piece of Vearth isn't worthy of me…"

Now it was Edam's turn to be stunned. "Vearth... So, you've conquered this land?"

"Yaha! For a God like myself, it was only a trifling matter at most…" Mr. God laughed a bit and then added. 

"But, not bad at all, for a lowly being, fending off my attack, you can be proud of you… yahaha, I've decided, you have the honor to be my subordinate starting today…!"

"...Nah… no thanks, not interested…"

"Hah…? You don't seem to understand your situation… foreigner…" The blond guy smirked and…

Swing! In a flash of blue lightning, he appeared instantly in the air in front of Edam.

[100 million volts] He pointed his hand down at Edam as his smirk widened out even more.

'He's fast!' Edam thought with some surprise at this.

"Nobody refuses God!" 

[Vally!]

Rumble! As if lightning was striking Edam, he was mercilessly showered by it.

Crack! Boom!

Edam's eyes in response to him shone a golden color as he muttered...

"F*ck off…"

[Vital Shield…] 

With that said his whole body shone a golden-colored aura that violently expanded outward like a bubble of some sort.

Swish! 

Boom!

The two opponents' attack once again clashed against one another as both of them jumped backward after the clash.

'This bastard is extremely fast…' Edam thought as he clenched his hands into fists and a vein popped up on his forehead.

Boom! Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish!

A formidable and fierce golden-blood-red aura then covered his entire body as if he was burning with fire.

Opposite to him, Enel was quite stunned to see this stranger still alive and kicking and most of all displaying very weird abilities.

'Is that a Paramecia? Hn. It should be that…'

"Let's begin then-…" Enel couldn't finish his sentence as he saw the 'lowly being' shooting at him like a pistol.

Swish! And just as he was in reach, Edam punched out with his right hand.

Swing! But before that could happen, Eneru flashed out of reach, a couple of meters away.

"Yahaha, way too slow, monkey…"

Meanwhile, Edam who had missed him gave a faint glance in his direction.

'So he knows Observation Haki…'

And he burst out to pursue him!

Swoosh! Swing! Swoosh! Swing! Swoosh!

The battle then raged on as Edam attacked and Enel dodged or Enel attacked and Edam would fend off the attack with a vital shield of his.

"Yahaha try this out!" Eneru avoided a punch and pointed his palm up at the sky.

"[El… Thor!]

A massive stream of lightning burst out of the sky and rushed toward Edam, who in response, punched the sky with a fist filled with Ki.

Boom! 

Inwardly, Enel was quickly stunned and surprised by this lowly monkey. As the fight went on, Edam's speed was slowly but surely rising.

'… I'm still too slow… lightning speed is still too fast…' Edam grumbled on his own and snorted.

He could already travel faster than sound by coating himself with Ki in his basic form but this guy was still traveling at lightning speed. The difference was still too obvious.

If he was to continue like this, he would surely attain it eventually, but how much time would it take? A lot of time for sure… 

And truth be told, he could get the hell out of here whenever he wants, but he couldn't bring himself to… He felt insulted for a reason or another and he just wants to wreck this guy right here, right now…

And so with that in mind, Edam decided to 'cheat' as the Snake Princess would say… 

He shot himself at Enel again while the latter only looked with disdain and said. "This is useless, even if you can somehow catch up to my speed, my body is intangible-…!?

"Shut up!"

"What?!" Enel's eyes widened up as he saw Edam piercing through space… literally…

Bam!

And to his astonishment and shock, he felt a violent and extremely heavy punch smashing against his cheek smashing him away.

Swish! Enel was propelled like a broken cat throughout the small forest.

He rapidly stabilized himself and flashed a hundred meters away in the distance, floating in mid-air.

"You f*cking-...?!" But once again…

Bam! Bam! 

This time Edam mysteriously appeared in front of him and violently punched his face and then gave a liver blow.

Blurg! Spurt! Enel threw up blood and saliva.

But Edam didn't end it here, he took a hold of Enel's drums ring and fiercely threw him toward the clouds, and followed him.

Swish! He arrived just above Enel and punched once more.

"Blurgh!"

Swoosh! And just like a missile, Enel plummets downward.

A couple of villagers were quietly speaking and thinking with apparent fear in their eyes…

Rumble! From the clouds, the sound of thunder rang out again.

"Sigh… someone is plotting again…" Someone sighed again in sadness.

However, to their surprise, instead of the usual pillar of lightning falling on someone, they saw a very small figure plummeting to the ground like a meteor as it crashed down on the clouds.

Crack! Boom!

After crashing down, Enel stood up with blood tricking on the corner of his lips and then looked with gritting teeth at the sky to see Edam flying down.

"How is this possible?! I'm a Logia, how can you touch me?!"

"Heh, how strange, you know observation but not armament?" Edam walked forward with much sarcasm in his voice as he glanced around to see the various inhabitants.

'Sky people huh…' He saw the face of nearly all the inhabitants being filled with fear and disgust as they looked at the both of them.

Enel too then glanced around seeing all the inhabitants observing with much interest, curiosity, and fear in their eyes.

Turning back toward Edam, Enel yelled.

"...Enough! It was quite fun, but it is now time for you to disappear monkey!"

Dum! "[30 millions volt: Hino Thunder Bird!] 

Enel hit a drum on his back as, from it, a huge lightning bird surged and rushed at Edam.

"Screech!"

But, seeing this seemingly living bird, instead of panicking, Edam's face couldn't help but draw in a faint smirk on his mouth.

"Well… how funny…" He smirked faintly as his whole being burst out with a golden aura.

"[Heaven's pearl: Celestial Bird!]"

From Edam's aura, a beautiful but solid bird took form as it rushed at Enel's thunderbird.

"Screech!"

"What?!" Enel looked on in disbelief as the two birds clashed and then destroyed each other.

Boom! A small explosion then rang out in results as the two birds consumed one another and exploded.

"Damn monkey! I've had enough of this insolence, you think that you can just rival the power of a God?!"

With his golden staff in hand, he hit all the four drums on his back.

Dum! Dum! Dum! Dum!

"[Thunder Bird!] [Thunder Beast!] and [Thunder Dragon!]"

Just as the names suggested, from two drums came the same Thunder Bird from earlier along with a Thunder Beast.

From the two last drums, a powerful dragon emerged, clearly stronger in might than the combined bird and beast.

In response, Edam's aura erupted out and turned red as he spoke.

"[Hell's pearl: Great Ape!]"

And from behind his back, a humongous blood-red Great Ape rapidly formed and charged forward to fight the three lightning beasts.

It first caught the thunder dragon with its two massive and threw it down on the ground as it looked at the thunderbird and thunder beast, opening its jaw and boom!

A beam shot out and erased the thunderbird and thunder beast.

It then looked at the dragon below as it opened its mouth again.

Boom!

"You... Bastard!" Enel looked at Edam with a quick rising rage understanding that this guy in front of him was replicating each of his techniques… as if… yes as if to prove that he was stronger than him… stronger than a God...

Well, no need to say that Enel currently had a very dark expression.

"You… who are you again…?"

"... Monkey D. Edam…"

"Hmph, be honored… not many lived long enough to witness this form of mine…" Enel said as he slowly rose into the sky.

"[200 millions volt: Amaru, Thunder God!]

At those words, Enel transformed into a gigantic Raijin-looking thunder god made of pure electricity.

Edam looked at him with a somber expression too. 'This bastard truly wants to kill me…'

'...I didn't want to but…'

"Fine… if you wanna go for the kill… then…" Edam's eyes glowed with a pale golden color while his pure black hair started to rise, becoming slightly spiky and his muscles enlarged a bit making him taller.

"…" As his eyes shone this pale golden light, his killing intent finally surfaced for the first time since the beginning of the fight.

Like the saying goes, eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth...

On his back, five balls of red Ki quietly formed out.

Edam then opened his hand as if to catch something as one of the five red balls of ki materialize itself into his hand.

[Heaven's Destroying Spear!]

With those words, the blood-red ball instantly shaped itself into a very black blood-red spear. It was simple and not very complicated but it was still emanating a very ominous kind of energy.

Seeing this, Enel was the first to react and strike!

"Yahaha! This is unfortunate, I didn't want to destroy this island just yet but whatever!"

Enel laughed and then brought a hand forward as if to aim at Edam.

"Die, you fool, and learn to fear God…!"

[200 millions volt: El Thor!" As he yelled the attack's name, he punched.

BOOOOM! An extremely large and intense stream of lightning surpassing all his previous attacks exploded toward Edam to reduce him to smithereens.

"Learn to fear God...?" Edam muttered as he took a step back as if to flee.

But, as he did so, his body seemingly completely disappeared inside a spatial gate.

SWOOOOSH!!! Rumble!

Enel's attack didn't hit Edam but completely pulverized the clouds around. Sure enough, this Amaru's form of his could make it so that each of his attacks output would all be raised to 200 millions volt.

'Mantra!' Enel rapidly thought, knowing that Edam would strike from somewhere.

"Don't bother searching, I'm in front of you…" Edam's voice resounded as he appeared floating in mid-air right in front of Enel, not bothering to establish a complex plan. 

His spear was already raised high in the air, ready to pierce through anything.

"You think you can kill me like that?! Fool!" Enel shouted and was gonna flash out but…

"You stay put…!"

Edam whispered in a rather cold voice as his pale golden eyes grew cold and his Conquerors Haki was fully unleashed, pressing on Enel!

!!?

"What?!" Enel wanted to move but realized that he just couldn't at all, it was as if the entirety of the four blue seas was pressing on him, completely restraining his movement.

"F*cking monkey!" Enel screamed and his drums rang out powerful as…

[200 million volt!]

[Thunder Bird!]

[Thunder Beast!]

[Thunder Dragon!]

"Die, Mortal!"

All his thunder beasts empower to two hundred millions volts roared and rushed at Edam in the air.

Meanwhile, Edam gazed down at these thunder beasts as his fingers tightened around his spear, his face rather devoid of any surprise, fear, or even excitation to fight. 

His expression was so different that he just looked like an entirely different person… having no care nor any hesitation to take a life...

"Die…"

Edam muttered emotionlessly as he threw his spear…
