My Sweet Dr. Xu

Gu Nantian treated her well because of his memory loss. So, she could think of any man as her target except Gu Nantian. How could she use a man who had lost his memory and was one of her patients?

Her medical ethics would not allow her to do such things.

"…" Gu Nantian admired her serious expression, "Even if you have been married once, I still like you!"

"I think your illness is quite serious." Xu Zhiyin lowered her head. She was not used to a man flirting like this. She had always considered flirting immoral!

She was used to the identity of Mrs. Ji. Subconsciously, she still felt like Ji Liunian's wife and could not have intimate moments with other men.

Gu Nantian smiled as he held his wine and asked, "Would you like another glass?"

"Yes, please." Xu Zhiyin found today's wine extremely good. She drank a little more than usual probably because of her bad mood.

"Send me home, I want to go home!" Walking out of the restaurant, she struggled to walk straight.

Gu Nantian saw her walking toward the road like a stubborn bull, trying to hail a taxi. He stretched out his hand and pulled her back, "You promised to work for me."

"I can't work after drinking. I'll get a scolding."

She narrowed her eyes and flipped her hair. Her hairband snapped and her initially neatly combed hair fell onto her shoulders. The gentle breeze blew and parted her fringe, exposing her forehead…

Gu Nantian held her hand and looked at her from head to toe…

The drunken Xu Zhiyin kept protesting, "Don't touch me, I have been married."

Gu Nantian stared at her face and evaluated her, "Your facial features are exquisite and your skin isn't bad, which part of you is not good looking?"

She was the kind of person who could easily be recognized if she were to be put in the crowd. Moreover, she had the kind of beauty one would not get tired of looking at in the long run. Taking a closer look, it was as if there wasn't anyone more good looking than her.

However, she did not have Chuxia's beauty, the kind of beauty that made heads turn and at one glance, made people's eyes fix on her and neglect others around her.

"I'm going home. Mr. Gu, it's late."

"Alright, I'll send you home." Gu Nantian coaxed as he helped her up the car.

Xu Zhiyin sat in the car in an upright posture despite her drunkenness. Since young, she had been a person who behaved in a fit and proper way. She had never done anything which exceeded what was proper. Even when she was drunk, she was trying hard to maintain her image and would not allow herself to be unreasonable or to make a scene.

Anyway, everyone who knew her said Xu Zhiyin was a person with excellent decorum in drinking.

Gu Nantian stared at this woman and stretched out his hand to hold hers.

In the hospital, he had identified her as the woman he loved so no matter what she did, she was adorable in his eyes.

Looking at her sitting there with her eyes shut, he lowered his head. His heart felt like it was tied with a string and she was holding the other end of the string, pulling him closer and closer towards her, as if forcing him to kiss her.

"Liunian…"

The words which flowed from Xu Zhiyin's mouth stopped Gu Nantian.

Although he had lost his memory, he was still that arrogant Gu Nantian. When a woman was calling another man's name, he didn't wish to touch her.

He looked at Xu Zhiyin and held her chin with his fingers. His look was filled with determination and he vowed solemnly, "One day, I'll make you forget that man."

The object he took a fancy to would never be able to escape.

It was 6.30am in the morning. There was no alarm clock and no one making noise. Xu Zhiyin's biological clock woke her up. She rubbed her eyes and wanted to get up to clean herself. Then, she realized she was weighed down by a huge hand.

She opened her eyes and saw a magnified face.

This face was one she knew very well.

"Mr. Gu?"

A feeling of shame swiftly engulfed her and her sleepiness was scared off. Xu Zhiyin pushed him away and sat up rashly. She felt an exploding pain in her head.

She quickly tidied her clothes and buttoned her blouse. When she was sure she was not as unkempt as before, she started to regret. She had drunk too much last night and had even slept on the same bed as Gu Nantian!

Even if nothing had happened, this had exceeded the boundary she could accept.

'You are a woman who had once been married!

'How can you do such a shameless thing?'

Xu Zhiyin felt remorseful and angry and walked out of Gu Nantian's bedroom directly…

"Dr. Xu." Qiao was standing at the door. His sudden voice scared Xu Zhiyin out of her wits.

Xu Zhiyin forced herself to keep calm and not take the incident to heart, "I was drunk last night and I think I went into the wrong room. I'm sorry."

She hoped Qiao would not misunderstand.

Qiao smiled but did not respond. Xu Zhiyin left feeling perplexed.

Xu Zhiyin worked once every other day and today was her working day.

She tidied herself and went to work.

A nurse, Xiao Liu, saw her and asked her curiously, "Dr. Xu, who was the one who picked you up from the hospital yesterday?"

Xu Zhiyin halted and understood that Xiao Liu meant Gu Nantian. She explained, "A patient of mine."

"Impossible! When did we have a patient like this before?" Gu Nantian's display of splendor was too great and if he had been in the hospital before, it would have been impossible for no one to know.

Xu Zhiyin replied, "He was here a few months ago. I was very surprised that he came to look for me suddenly regarding some matters too."

Xu Zhiyin darted a glance at Xiao Liu and diverted the topic, "I'm going on my ward rounds."

She didn't like Gu Nantian to be the conversation topic.

After her ward rounds, she saw Ji Liunian walking on the same corridor. Both of them stopped almost at the same time.

Yesterday, Ji Liunian was angry and Xu Zhiyin thought he wouldn't talk to her. She didn't expect him to ask, "What were you doing last night? I called you many times but you didn't answer my call."

She widened her eyes and was overwhelmed. Then, she replied calmly, "I didn't hear. Is there anything you need?"

"I wanted you to come over to the hospital but you didn't pick up my call. It's nothing now."

"Then, I'll go and work." Xu Zhiyin couldn't find anything else to say to him and wished to escape from him quickly.

When Ji Liunian saw her leaving, he called out, "Zhiyin, Chuxia wishes to eat the noodle from Cheng Nan Noodle House. Please get some for her."

"…" Xu Zhiyin raised her head in surprise and looked at Ji Liunian in disbelief. "You're asking me to go?"
