Wale's house was big, a portable duplex for a bachelor like him. Unlike what I thought when I had first met him, he didn't come from a family like mine. But he was independent and worked for himself. He had made it big without the help of a rich father and that showed how dedicated he really was.

He was goddamn brilliant! I saw all that immediately I walked into his house.

He had an award room from his school and others, but he refused me looking at the award. He said I could look at it sometime else.

I found at that he graduated with a first class from Harvard and also in law school. He showed me his certificate and I was deeply impressed with him.

Right about now he was working on building his own firm. I was happy that he at least shared work related information with me even if he won't still tell me about his life.

"I'll like to freshen up. I feel very uncomfortable." I sighed, sitting on the sofa with a loud thump. He had been showing me around since I walked into his house. I did really appreciate it but I really needed to freshen up already.

"Let me get the guest bathroom ready for you." He muttered, switching on the TV.

"And why is that. Can't I use yours?"

I raised my brow waiting for his answer.

My eyes met with his and there was something in his eyes, something I couldn't quite place.

"You can. I just felt that you would feel more comfortable using the guest bathroom." He replied avoiding my gaze. He was looking from the remote in his hands to the TV without even sparing me a glance.

"Why will I be more comfortable using the guest bathroom? I don't get?" I asked, obviously displeased about it.

He could tell from my voice how irritated I was getting with his attitude towards avoiding anything that could make us intimate.

"It's not a big issue Zara. It was just a suggestion let's not turn this to what it's not. It is not so serious." He sighed.

He sounded like he was watching his words with me, as if he was walking on egg shells. I didn't want to quarel with him even though I was pissed, I was more tired.

I knew where his room was so I just took my bag and started walking to it. There was no need making such a big fuss about it anyway. Maybe he just didn't want it to seem like he wanted to take advantage of me hence the reason he offered that I used the guest room.

I have been to his room before, to watch him dress up for a date although he made sure to stay far away from me as possible. I eyed him, walking up the stairs, I shouted, "I will be wearing one of your shirts."

He didn't reply and it was not like I expected him to. I freshened up in his bathroom having everything I needed. Then I laid on the bed chatting with my dad, he wanted to know why I wasn't home yet and I told him I will be spending the night with my boyfriend.

He was insisting that I bring him over and stop keeping him as a mystery. At first I wanted to introduce him to my parents but Wale has been acting strange and I needed to get to the root of the issue before I introduced him to my parents and he turns out to be what I didn't expect.

"The perfect man indeed," I said to myself as I dropped my phone on the bed side table. Perfection is indeed a myth. I thought.

I had to try to sleep even though I wasn't feeling exactly up to it but my hospital and the patients who needed me were real so I needed to sleep so I could meet up with the time tomorrow.

I covered myself with his duvet and closed my eyes but sleep wouldn't come. He was on my mind but he wasn't there with me and it made me sad.
