"So how was today?" He asked pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Fair enough. Nothing special. Well there was an accident and it was a very pitiful sight. That's the reason I am going home late and looking this dead." I sighed then I puffed out air from my mouth. "It was so tiresome."

"Yea! I heard about it from the news. It was so sad. It happened on the express way. That bus that was hit by a train right?"

"Yes that bus. I still find it difficult to comprehend how the government allows busses, cars, bikes and trailers all on the same road. Like who does that? do they know the amounts of life lost everyday because of this. its plainly unacceptable very very." I ranted clearly pissed. "Its disgusting to say the least!"

"Your dad is part of the government." He coughed.

"Well not the government of Abuja. They have their senator and the president. They should step up and do their duties." I said clearly unfazed by what he had said although from his expression he thought I would be offended. Why the hell will I be offended.

"I'm glad no one died." He sighed.

"I don't know if anyone died we only treated the three patients moved to my hospital because of their extreme emergencies. Don't let me get started about the poor state of government hospitals in Nigeria. Definitely some life's will be lost." I scoffed. "With the amount of quack doctors In government Hospitals who got there through the back door, I doubt if no life will be lost."

"its a sad state we are in." Wale said pressing the horn. We had finally gotten to his house and I started to become more agitated. Today would be the first time I would be spending the night in his house and the possibilities were endless.

His gateman opened the door immediately he horned and I was quite impressed. Sometimes you will have to horn thrice before my gateman opened the door. I liked adequate staffs and the only reason he hasn't been fired yet was because of my dad. My dad was quite gentle with his workers. Sometimes I found it really nice but sometimes it made me very angry when he was so gentle with them. It breeds indiscipline.

I kept quiet staring into the distance while Wale parked. I got down before he could open the door for me, he gave me the eye the one that screamed Zara 'why are you like this'

I chuckled at his facial expression.

I didn't need any man opening the door for me, I was not handicapped.
