My Chaotic City

In Li Hanqiang's mind, fishing at Blue Ripple Pond could not stop. Ten little gremlins would need to be there. Gremlin's Mountain Farm, Gremlin's Mountain Herbs Garden, Gremlin's Mountain Mine, and Gremlin's Mountain Lumberyard would all require their own workforce. Another ten little gremlins would also need to be left at Gremlin's Mountain Workshop. 

In order to form a hundred gremlin team based on those numbers, the population cap of Cave Dwelling in Gremlin's Mountain would need to be at least 140. This would require the Gremlin's Mountain Farm to be expanded across seven acres of land. 

However as the system has introduced them, the work efficiency of the little gremlins was completely flippant and unpredictable. It was unclear how long the cultivation of seven acres of land would take. 

At that moment, the Nest Shelter at the foot of the mountain was beginning construction. 

The five little gremlins Li Hanqiang assigned to the job were working at full speed, comically pulling out wooden rods to construct the basic frame of the Nest Shelter. 

Li Hanqiang observed for a moment, commenting to himself that it really did look like a nest. From an eye's glance, it looked at most to be two meters tall and If it could cover a three-meter square area, then it was already quite impressive. It looked no different from a phone booth. 

"This thing looks a bit like an upright coffin. It also looks pretty bad. It seems that there wouldn't be room enough to lie down in. Was this built to the physical stature of a little gremlin? 

While Li Hanqiang was grumbling to himself, there was a notification from the system.

Li Hanqiang could roughly figure out it was the Bandit in The Dog Head Hat wanting to come in, especially since he was the only one who would keep his name anonymous. 

Even though the Bandit in The Dog Head Hat made Li Hanqiang earnings every time he came here to buy potions, Li Hanqiang was still a person who needed his branding. When it was time to put on airs, he should do so. Furthermore, that Bandit in The Dog Head Hat did not have good intentions, so Li Hanqiang should let him stew for a bit. 

Li Hanqiang's rejection was making Deity Robber anxious.

How could he not be? The exchange rate of gold coins was dropping constantly. When he checked the market rate this morning, the exchange rate of the in-game gold coins right now with real-life currency was already down to 1 to 150. 

Late profits were the same as making a loss and Deity Robber's heart felt like it was being shredded by a razor blade. 

He had actually logged on first thing in the morning. The 30 aunties were already online, and Deity Robber had made them run around to do daily errands, taking the unbound gold coins they made and then helping them sell them. 

The aunties made nearly 200 RMB each and were unable to conceal their joy, constantly praising Deity Robber. 

However Deity Robber viewed this as mere peanuts. He brought these housewives to the Chaos Temple to continue their business of being potion peddlers. 

However, Li Hanqiang was not allowing him to enter the Chaotic City! 

'This stupid City Lord is going back on his word? Or is he out of gold and can't pay the subsidy?" Deity Robber began to pace on the spot, privately regretting his actions yesterday. Why could he not just have played along? 

He continuously activated the travel ticket. 

Li Hanqiang, on the other hand, continuously refused the barrage of requests that were naturally coming his way. It was not until just over half an hour later when the Nest Shelter had been constructed and Li Hanqiang had crawled inside to give it a try, did he come out to the War Corridor and approve the travel request. 

"Do not be shameless just because you're invincible. You've got a thicker face than me and are not as good as me despite being invincible." Li Hanqiang rolled his eyes in response before replying, "Are you from the Emperor's Rich Guild?" 

Deity Robber nodded his head at first, before hurriedly shaking it, "No, no, definitely not! Bro, you have to believe me!" 

"Why should I?" Li Hanqiang said nonchalantly. "Time is valuable. Stop waffling. You know where to buy the potions. I'll still give you a subsidy, at the same rate as yesterday." 

"Hm?" Deity Robber was starting to feel like he could not understand Li Hanqiang. His heart was telling him that this fellow was really daft. He could tell that he was from the Emperor's Rich Guild, but was still letting him make money? 

Could it be that he had a plan? 

"Buy without worry. I have the gold. You can even buy 100,000,000 bottles!" Li Hanqiang sounded like a wealthy man. "Hurry along and make your purchase! When you're done buying, start selling. Time is money, you can never stop hustling!" 

"This…" Deity Robber hesitated once more as he said, "Bro, if I really am from the Emperor's Rich Guild, wouldn't you be making a loss?" 

"Only someone like you would think of making me suffer a loss!" Li Hanqiang smiled. "You can make a killing, and I would still not be making a loss!" 

He could not help but brag. "The Emperor's Rich Guild is nothing more than an irrelevant, small guild to yours truly. Look at that Zhen Dejun, truly a simpleton with the mindset of a grade-schooler. He dares to challenge me and immediately gets squished by me without even a smidge of resistance! As for that Zhen Deqiang, he publishes a public notice to show off so he must definitely be a showoff. A small guild like the Emperor's Rich Guild, I could destroy a dozen such guilds with the turn of my hand! What kind of person am I that the Guild Leader of the Tianhe Guild would need to bring a mob of underlings whenever he meets me. 

Deity Robber was shocked to hear this and wondered to himself if Li Hanqiang was some kind of public figure? 

He was rather taken aback by Li Hanqiang. Looking at this Chaotic City, it was really early into the game and there was already a Fire Tower, a Mysterious Shop, strange patterns on the War Corridor, and those strange towers that could release Sword Qi. Were these things something a normal Chaotic City would have? 

Deity Robber would have been alright if he did not mull over it. The more he thought about it, the more he felt that Li Hanqiang was not what he seemed to be. 

"This Li Hanqiang could be a person with money and influence that normal people cannot afford to offend." Deity Robber thought to himself and felt a great pressure on himself. 

Of course, only a fool would give up a chance to make money. Deity Robber continued with his business of being a potion peddler and very rapidly brought potions with him back to the Chaos Temple to be distributed amongst the group of aunties. 

In their eyes, this young man was very capable. Bringing them gallivanting around in the morning and allowing them to make close to 200 RMB per person. That was higher than two days worth of wages for them, it was truly marvelous. 

Therefore when it came to the jobs assigned to them by Deity Robber, they were naturally enthusiastic and immediately set off on their respective roads as soon as they took their potions. 

Deity Robber knelt in the middle of Chaos Temple while waiting for them to return. He returned to his thoughts about Li Hanqiang's status. A moment later, a sound entered his ear, "Deity Robber, how goes your infiltration?" 

The owner of this voice was Zhen Deqiang, with Zhen Dejun standing right behind him. 

Deity Robber rushed to his feet and smiled, putting on the manners of a loyal servant. "Be at ease, Guild Leader. I have already begun to gain Li Hanqiang's trust and am currently chipping away at his gold reserves… However, Guild Leader, this Li Hanqiang is not what he appears to be. He has a lot of gold coins and underlings. He may be a very ruthless person!" 

"Why does it matter if he's a ruthless person, is there anyone I fear in this game? You better do your job and take care of him. Don't let him develop his Chaotic City!" Zhen Deqiang glared at Deity Robber before glancing around and asked, "Where are the underlings I gave you?" 

Aunty in this context can refer to middle-aged women completely unrelated to you.
