Man of Fiction

Chapter 1:Bonus Story Info: The World of MoF

Hello, Tamandeggs here! And it's time for a CHAPTER BREAK!!!

If you are reading this, then there's a chance you have read the first four chapters of Man of Fiction. I'd like to say, thank you very much for making this far. Your support means a lot to me and my writing craft.

Before we all move on to the next chapter, I've decided to talk about the setting that takes place in Man of Fiction. As you can see, I've created a completely different setting for Emily Rose and Gareth's story. Some of you might still be very confused, so I've written this Auxiliary chapter for some clarity and enlightenment. This is also written for my benefit, so I can keep track of the names and places that I've created, haha.

Emily Rose's Earth comprises only one massive land called Agapen. I derived it from the name of Earth's first large continent Pangaea, because that's how Emily's Earth currently looks like. It is split into two big regions, Hembrandt the West and Lacras the East. The common or layman term for these two continents are simply West and East. Think of it as one large kingdom with two different sides. I have yet to discuss the type of politics going around here, but all will be revealed in good time. For now we have Alaric's detective work, haha. Anyway, both regions have several cities that make up their land. Our story currently takes place in the West, and it has mentioned a couple of cities.

The first to take note of is Opal City, Emily Rose's and… now, Alaric Bentlee's current place of residence. It is mostly known as a residential city, filled with various apartments and homes.

That's why people travel to Mavon City, where most of the offices and commercialism takes place. It is the largest city of the West and it is the only known for its busy employees and workers. Mavon Centre is the biggest landmark, and it is the first place everyone goes to in order to find work with Job Consultants. We also have the Bby Box, one of the busiest fast food chains and Emily's go-to place for lunch--because well, it's affordable and fulfilling at the same time. Finally, there is Blates' Luxury Hotel, Emily's current place of work and one of the biggest hotels in the city. Basically, Mavon City is one of the most hectic places in the world. That's why the Slash Bandit decided to take his modus operandi over there.

Then we have Gallop Port, a very small city near the sea. I will further explore this place in future chapters.

Finally Hembrandt Capitol, which is obviously the capital city of the West. This is where the hospitals and government offices like City Hall are located. This is the place where you typically get things started, which is why Gareth traveled here.

And for now, that's all I wanted to talk about. This will certainly not be the last chapter break. I will update more bonus story information from time to time, adding information about the Agapen world as we go along. There's so much I'd like to shed more light on, such as the story of Mob Boy Order, the processing systems (Mavon's employment system, Hembrandt's citizenship), and even their currencies and social media platforms like SoPop! And once again, this is also written for my benefit, so it will be easier for me to keep tabs on the elements that I've created.

Hopefully you find this chapter helpful. Give this a vote, but if you have suggestions and more questions about this world I've created, you are free to leave a comment. Once again, thank you so much for reading Man of Fiction, and stay tuned till the next chapter update.
