Chapter 35: self-inflicted

  Chapter 35 Self-inflicted

five minutes later.

Two vehicles entered the Gobi to find the location of the Mercedes-Benz. The farther the distance from the road, the worse the signal. The signal was directly cut off behind, unable to communicate with the outside world.

At the beginning, the three of them still chatted, but the further they drove, the more silent they became.

Fortunately, two cars go together, even if one car breaks down, there is another car supporting the bottom.

Otherwise, with Luke's caution, he really didn't dare to enter Gobi easily.

Drove for half an hour, and the positioning system couldn’t work, so I can only guess based on the driving distance and direction that the Mercedes-Benz should be nearby.

Two cars started patrolling nearby, and Luke opened the skylight to look out, holding a bottle of mineral water in his hand, taking a sip from time to time.

After searching for another twenty minutes, Luke vaguely saw a black spot the size of a matchbox in front of him.

Luke rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't dazzled.

Under his guidance, the two cars drove towards the direction of the black dot. The car was not driving fast, and after a few minutes of driving, it was already recognized that it was a car.

Luke showed an excited look, and finally TM found it.

At this time, the three of them became vigilant instead, stopped the car, checked the firearms, and put on body armor.

Drive again and stop a dozen meters away from the Mercedes-Benz.

The three of them observed the surrounding area and found no abnormal movements.

David takes the lead, Luke and Marcus cover on both sides, and the three advance in a triangle.

Close to the front of the car, you can see the situation inside the car through the windshield, and no one is found in the car.

The door of the cab is open, and it can be seen clearly that no one can hide under the front seat.

David stood in front of the car, holding guns in both hands, staring intently at the interior of the car.

Luke and Marcus came to the side of the car, Marcus made two gestures, and Luke nodded slightly.

Marcus yanked the back door of the car, and Luke searched with a gun, but still found nothing.

While the three of them were disappointed, they couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

David came to the rear of the car and patted the car's **** habitually, "Bang!"

   "Woooooooooooo..."

   "Boom..."

There was a rattling and whimpering sound from the trunk.

  The three became tense again.

Luke found the button to open the trunk from the car, and David and Marcus stood by the trunk with guns on guard.

The trunk opened, and the two men raised their guns at the same time to signal,

   "lapd! Put your hands up."

A man curled up in the trunk, with a towel in his mouth, handcuffed with his hands behind his back, and his legs bound with thick tape.

   "Woooooooooooo..."

The man let out a 'sob' cry for help.

"Wow, isn't this Mr. Lawyer?" Marcus walked up to the trunk to check. Dave had obvious bruises on his face, and his expression was a little too excited, with snot and tears coming out.

David put away the pistol, "Get him out."

Marcus stepped forward to help Dave up, wrinkled his nose, and took two steps back, "fuck, it smells so bad, you peed your pants."

Marcus looked at Dave's crotch, and there were some yellow stains, which should have dried after a long time.

"Oh." Marcus pursed his lips, with a look of disgust on his face.

David pulled the towel out of Dave's mouth, "Are you okay?"

"Water! Water! I want to drink water..." Dave had chapped lips and coughed a few times.

Luke took out a side of mineral water from the trunk, unscrewed the cap, and handed it to his mouth.

"Gulu..." Dave took a few sips hard, his face turned a little more bloody, "Thank you, thank you for saving me. I thought I was going to die here.

  Steven that bastard, I @#¥%…”

   "Where's Steven?"

"I don't know, that **** put me in the trunk and I don't know anything.

I begged him to let me go, but the **** didn't respond at all, I don't even know where I am? "

Marcus unlocked the handcuffs, untied the thick bandages on Dave's legs, and helped him out of the car with a look of disgust.

Dave's legs softened, and he sat on the ground directly, "Is there anything to eat? Give me something to eat..."

David handed him a piece of bread, "Why did Steven want to catch you?"

“After coming out of the police station, I asked Steven for legal fees, and he said he was going to his house to collect the money.

I sent him home, and that **** turned his back on him and threatened me with a gun.

I said I didn't want the money, but he refused to let me go. He handcuffed me and tied my feet with tape.

After that, this **** got worse and asked me for money instead.

I said no, so he beat me, burned my chest with a cigarette butt, and extorted $40,000 from me.

This **** is simply inhuman. I saved him from the police station, but he killed me instead.

Bastard son of a bitch, I almost suffocated him in here.

Three police officers, you must catch him, I am willing to appear in court to identify him! Let him die of old age in prison. "

Luke asked, "Think again, did Steven leave any other clues, such as his escape plan? Or who did he want to defect to?"

"After I was thrown into the trunk, my mind went blank and I don't remember anything." Dave showed pain on his face,

"Have you ever tried that feeling? It's a closed space, dark, I really thought I was going to die in it.

I never thought that I would die in such an aggrieved way. I am not afraid of Steve, but this feeling of waiting to die makes me collapse.

I don't want to recall anymore, never. "

Dave's emotion has not been relieved from the fear, and there is little point in taking notes for him now.

David called Marcus aside, "Luke and I are here to guard, you take Dave back to the gas station, and then contact the captain to send someone to support.

Marcus shook his head, "No, I won't let a guy who **** his pants sit in my car, the smell of urine makes me sick just thinking about it."

"Then you stay here, Luke and I will take him back."

"I don't want to be in this **** place by myself."

David became a little impatient, "Then what do you say?"

"Let this guy who wets his pants stay here with you, and I will go back and find reinforcements myself."

David warns, "If you get lost, you die, understand?"

Marcus didn't take it seriously, "Hey, I often see Mr. Pei and Mr. De. Even if you get lost, there is no danger. I know how to find food and water sources on the Gobi."

David pointed to Marcus's chest, "Your danger is me. If you can't find reinforcements, I will kill you."

Marcus shrugged, "I won't give you this chance."

David glanced at his watch, "I've already timed it, and there will be no reinforcements within three hours, so be careful."

Marcus muttered something in a low voice, and quickly walked back to his car. While starting the car, he greeted Luke, "Hi, buddy, wait for my good news."

"Hey, where did he go? Why didn't you take me away?" Dave was in a hurry, he didn't want to stay in this ghost place any longer.

"I want to go back to Los Angeles, that is my world, not stay here and eat sand."

Dave stood up and wanted to chase, but his limbs were weak and he couldn't run at all.

"Save your energy, he won't pull you." David said.

Dave looked puzzled, "Why? I didn't sin against him?"

"He thought you peed your pants." David didn't know what it meant to be subtle.

   "Pfft..."

Luke couldn't help laughing, he had already smelled that smell, and he had been standing far away.

Dave's face was flushed, and he couldn't say a word. Perhaps this was the most embarrassing moment in his life.
