Chapter 7:Pack you bags. We are moving

Everyone was happy but not pallavi, she had tears rolling down her beautiful face. She ran out of the room and stormed into the bathroom. She started sobbing. ' why…..why…..why did this have to happen right now? ',she thought. She had pretty much confessed her feelings just now and Shuvam said that he had struck it rich. She loved him. She really loved him but now she would be seen as some gold digger who was willing to stay with him for money. She had mixed feelings, she was happy that he had made money but she was also inwardly cursing the person who bought his game idea. ' Couldn't this stupid wait wait for a while more ? ', she thought.

When pallavi stormed out of the room, Shuvam had mixed thoughts. She seemed to be crying. But he didn't know why she was crying. ' Wasn't it a good thing that he could earn money? He would be able to take care of her better. ', he thought. He still went out the bathroom and knocked on the door for a few times while calling out to her.

Pallavi controlled her sobbing and finally opened the door. He didn't get her out of the bathroom, he himself walked in and locked the door. He hugged pallavi and said," Why are crying ? Shouldn't you be happy for your man ? "

Pallavi buried her head into his chest and started to sob again. He hugged her tightly.

" It hurts to see you cry, you know. "

"..." pallavi didn't say anything but she stopped sobbing.

" Now be a good girl and tell me what is happening ? Why are you crying ? "

" I…I..I love you. I really love you. I am not with you because of your money. ", she said with a pleading voice.

' This stupid girl. ', he thought. " Of course, I know that. You idiot! Such a small matter and you were crying for it. "

They hugged each other for a while and then separated. Shuvam turned and was going to open the door when he remembered something. He turned around again and faced pallavi. " Since we love each other and are dating….",he said and kissed her lips. This was his first experience and he was enjoying it. He was getting a feeling that this was addictive. After all, her lips were so sweet and soft.

Pallavi on the other hand thought that he was going to say something important when he suddenly stole her first kiss. He was sucking on her lips. It was her first kiss too but she was really excited. Her face turned red and she felt her legs turning soft. She hooked her arms around her and passionately responded to his kiss.

After 5 minutes of ' you-know-what ', they finally separated their lips. They still hugged each other passionately and said, " I love you. " They said it at the same time. It was like a scene out of some movie. They smiled but still kept hugging.

The smiles on their faces froze when they walked out of the bathroom. Their friends and a few other customers were outside the bathroom. Their friends were because they were worried and the customers were their to wait for their turns. The customers widened their eyes in shock when they saw pallavi and Shuvam coming out of the bathroom while holding hands.

The ' customers ' were actually students of another high school. They were also students that had seen pallavi before and knew who she was. They couldn't believe what they saw. To them, it seemed like the toad was eating swan's meat.

Both Shuvam and pallavi noticed there were people outside the bathroom. If it was just their friends, it would be OK but there were other people too. Both of them turned beet red from embarrassment. Shuvam didn't say anything. He pulled pallavi's hand and hurriedly ran to the counter to pay the bill.

He didn't forget to get his bag from the room they were in earlier. He went to the counter and asked for the bill. The bill was NRs 6300. He paid the bill and went out of the hotel. His friends followed suit and arrived quickly.

" I will drop her home. You guys go home on your own. ", Shuvam said while pointing at pallavi. All of them gave knowing smiles and went back on their own. He didn't take her home. They went to the park first. He wanted to talk to her. She didn't refute because she wanted to do the same.

They arrived at the park. He paid for the tickets and they found a bench to sit on.

" Where will be going now ? " Pallavi had decided to go to Kathmandu for further studies but she was worried that Shuvam might be going to abroad for further studies.

" Kathmandu. I am going to study game development there. How about you ? " Shuvam on the other hand was making plans that if she moved to any where within Nepal or India. He would fly to her during weekends and if it was anywhere further like abroad, he would get a visa or something and go once every month.

She was all smiles when she heard he was going to Kathmandu too. " Me too. I am going there too. I am going to study engineering. I wanna be an architect. "

Her smile was really captivating and it naturally attracted a few gazes of boys that were at the park. Shuvam noticed this and frowned. He pulled her in his embrace and gave a death glare to those passerby glancers. They felt cold sweat drenching their backs and walked away in a hurried manner.

Pallavi smiled again when she noticed what had happened. She was naturally happy when looking at her man who got jealous just because others looked at her smile.

They talked for while about how they would always notice each other and secretly look at each other. Both of them were happy to be with each other.

Shuvam then dropped pallavi at her home. He even wanted to talk to her parents about their relationship but pallavi chased him away saying there is still lots of time to meet her parents.

Shuvam went home and told his parents that he would be moving soon. He called his cousin and told her that he would be coming to Kathmandu soon. He thought that it would be boring to go through the road transports so he decided to make an online account in a travel website. He linked his bank account and booked a ticket to Kathmandu for NRs 4500. He also made a account in e-commerce sites like daraz, amazon, eBay, etc.

He planned to but his computers and necessary hardware on the internet and have them shipped to him.

His flight was day after tomorrow. He told his parents about his arrangement. He also called his cousin to come pick him up from the airport. She didn't know that he had made money so she was naturally in daze as why her cousin was flying to the capital. After all, even if they had a fairly good life, they were still a middle classed family.

His cousin was one of his best friends. He didn't talk much with others in the family. But was not so introverted with his little brother and his two cousins who had went to Kathmandu for studies.

After he was finished talking to his cousin, he went to his brother's room. Today was his last day of school. From now, there was a month long holiday before the start of next grade. His brother was watching movies on his mom's mobile.

Shuvam told his brother about how he made money and gave him the remaining NRs 1850 to his brother and told him to use it wisely. This money was too much for a middle schooler but he still gave it to his brother.

The next day, he met up with Pallavi again and asked her when she was leaving for Kathmandu. She said that she would be coming in a week or so. He told her he was going tomorrow.

Next day, his father had rented a car to drop him off at the the airport. Since the airport at Mahendranagar was no longer operating, he had to go to Dhangadi to catch a flight. It was 2 hour drive from Mahendranagar. His mom and little brother were there too. They dropped his at the airport and only went back after his flight had taken off.

It took 1 hour and 15 minutes for the flight to reach Kathmandu. He went out of the airport and found his cousin. She had come over in a taxi. She quickly took him to the taxi and they left for her apartment. She had been wanting to move for a while now and now she could move as there were two of them.

Shuvam had only brought a leather bag with seemed pretty empty and a small suitcase with two change of clothes, necessities like toothbrush and stuff and his laptop. Supriya was surprised as to why her cousin had only brought so few clothes but she didn't ask him. She knew that he would tell her the reason if it was okay for her to know.

They soon reached the apartment. The taxi fare was NRs 200. They paid it and went to the apartment. It was a two room apartment. The bathroom was not included. They had a common bathroom with other rentors.

Shuvam frowned when he saw how packed the rooms were. He turned his head to look at supriya and said, " Pack your bags, didi . We are moving. " ( Author's notes - didi is a Nepali term for older sister. There is no special term to call cousins in Nepali. They are referred to as older sis or older brother )
