He woke up later for dinner. Supriya frowned as she noticed that Shuvam had a smell of smoke lingering around him. She was worried that something might have happened. After all, he had told her that she smoked during 9th and 10th grade due to depression. " Is everything alright ? ", she asked.

" Umm.. Its alright. ",he said. He noticed that he was smelling like cigarettes. He had his dinner and went to the bathroom to have a shower. He then comes to room to check for the available number of dev coins and number of registered users.

One should know that shuvam had already rented 1000 TB worth of space in cloud space. Shuvam knew that this space was enough for about 40 million million people to play simultaneously. He thought that this was enough. After all, no matter how many people join, I won't reach over 40 million.

He noticed that currently had about 150,000 dev coins and over 21 million players registered. He then decided to buy proficiencies for the game development related skills. He then bought novice and intermediate proficiency for all the remaining nine skills. ( Note -: he has advanced proficiency in sketching and there are altogether ten game dev related skills )

He bought it for 135,000 dev coins altogether. He then felt an splitting headache. It was like anything else he had experienced, he rolled on the ground for about 20 minutes due to the constant pain.

He still clenched his teeth and didn't make a sound. He then used remaining coins to buy two coins of creativity and one point of endurance. He was a bit fatigued but after the increase of a point in endurance, he was feeling less fatigued.

He then went to sleep. A week went by pretty quickly and once again it was time for the championship of crystal wars. During this one week, he didn't ignore Alisha as he had decided to be friends with her.

Just like last week, the championship was on Saturday but today it was on 3 PM in Nepal. Everyone had to play the game at the same time to participate or view the championships. So, people awake till midnight or people waking up at 2 or 3 AM in the morning to look at the matches was not a rare sight.

Just like the national championships the rules in this championship were same, people could view the top hundred matches for free but after the top 50 are selected, they pay crystals to view the matches.

But unlike the nationals, the top 50 teams would be paid in this championship. ( Note :- the prizes for fs are mentioned in one of the earlier chapters. )

Today, shuvam didn't go to college to look at them play. He just opened his laptop and watches at some matches. He then feels bored and starts to read light novels. After 4 hours or so, he looked at the matches. The final five were going to play soon. He noticed that these teams were guild or mercenary group teams from S. Korea, China, Japan, USA and England.

He quickly checked the position of his school team. They had come in 25th place whereas the heaven breakers mercenary group from Nepal was in 32nd place.

Just when he was finished checking the results, Alisha called him. They had exchanged numbers earlier. She said, " Hey!! Why didn't you come ? We got the 25th place. I am soooo happy. Oh.. We are going to the restaurant near our college. Come fast. "

" But do I really have to come ? "

" Yes, you are coming. No buts. Come fast. "

He reluctantly left for the resturant. Only the team and few friends of the team members were there. He felt kinda off but still stayed.

They ate some food and had a few drinks. Shuvam didn't drink much cause he didn't want to get stopped by police for a drink and drive case.

He went out to the smoking room for having a smoke. Just then, drunk Alisha came to the room. She said, " Oiee, you stupid, cold-faced baddie. Why do you never pay attention to me ? "

" ... ", shuvam was kind of speechless because of her behaviour.

" Say something. Go out with me. You will go out with me, OK ? "

" Alisha, you are drunk. ", he ignored her question and told Megha and Anju to take her home.

He left soon after the three girls left, he didn't particularly know the others.

Next day, he was in class when suddenly Alisha came to him and took his hand. She dragged him to the roof and said, " About yesterday ? "

" Oh, its OK. You were drunk so I didn't mind it. "

" No. That- That is how I feel. Go out with me. "

Shuvam suddenly remembered Pallavi's face and a drop of tear came rolling down his right eye.
