I Am Undying

Elihim too was a proud as he didn't expect Rin's first step could be this successful. They were in their own little world, forgetting that they still have a problem.

"Master, Master, I have no idea what happened to my body but I feel refreshed and I could move like normal now.", Rin waved his arms around energetically amd laughed, "Hahaha!"

"You did have a Mark of a Godslayer so your soul has become a variant.", Elihim couldn't stop his mouth from explain, "The mind and the soul are like entangled to each other, they are dependant to one another."

"Then why did my body absorbed the Natural Energy? Can we not only manipulate Natural Energy but also absorb it?", Rin asked as he stopped moving around.

"If you reached the capability of manipulating Natural Energy, your soul will start to create the Energy Core. However, you need to have a strong mentality for your soul to start processing the Energy Core. That is the Five Stages of Focus."

Rin listemed care fully and nodded at Elihim's every sentence of knowledge.

On the side, Aliya's head was twitching, 'How dare they act as if I'm not here?!', "Hey! Don't start teaching and learning like a normal happy master-disciple while ignoring me and the situation!"

Elihim look at her with a raised eyebrow, "Haa? What are you on about? This is something to be celebrated. My plan is now on progress!", he said it like it was a matter of fact.

"He just entered the lowest stage and he's a decade to early to reach even a tinge of our power! And we have a more serious problem here!", Aliya flared up.

"Oh, don't worry about that. He's scared of me, he wouldn't go near my disciple.", Elihim shrugged it off.

"Scared of you?! You, the God of Knowledge and Wisdom? He does not even fear me. Why would he fear you?"

Rin on the side have no idea what they are talking about. When he got the timing to ask, he immediately brought it up, "Who's he?"

Elihim was scratching his head seemingly bothered as he answered Rin's question, "Nathan. The one you killed."

"….Eh?", Rin was stunned, "Isn't he already dead since I… killed him?"

Aliya jaw almost dropped and ask, "This guy didn't tell you yet that that guy can still be revive?"

"Ah, I heard it before but not in details.", Rin stared at Aliya, hoping that she would clear it up for him.

Aliya glared at Elihim.

"Why are looking at me like that? He doesn't need to know that yet. He'll be overridden with worries that'll obstruct his training.", Elihim explained but Aliya heard it as an excuse.

"Hey.", Elihim stopped her, "Don't bother others with this and I doubt that they don't already knew the news."

"Tsk! You just don't want to let others know that your disciple was the cause of this.", Aliya said without turning around.

"Hmm, I don't deny that. Actually, that's real reason I don't want you to tell others. They'll assume that that the easiest way to stop this is to just dragged Rin into the Gatespace and let those monsters have their revenge."

"Assume? You think that giving them what they want so that they would stop is not the easiest plan.", Aliya faces Elihim.

"I'm not saying that it is jot the easiest plan if it would stop them."

"If… you mean giving the cause of death of their God to them wasn't enough for them to stop?", Aliya furrowed.

"Hm? I thought you already know this. The way to revive someone is to get their soul back.", Elihim stared into Aliya's eyes with a smile, "The soul of the dead would either go to heaven or to hell but what if that someone was a God. Their soul is too powerful for the heaven or the hell to be their only choice to go. There is no way that they are going to choose those either of the two since it will mean death!", Elihim pressed the word "death"

He paused for a moment and then continued. Aliya and even Rin was giving all of their attention to Elihim, "Heavens and hells hold a God's soul too precious that they wouldn't exchange it for a sacrifice except if it is another God's soul. However,", Elihim pointed his finger up, "How could those monsters from the Underworld get a soul of God? Of course, that is impossible."

'Just giving sacrifices make the heaven or hell give you a soul?', Rin couldn't take the information well. He didn't know the context that much since Elihim was explaining it to Aliya not to Rin himself.

"Nathan, would of course, knew that and would just turn itself as a parasite into one's body that no one would ever expected.", Elihim stopped since Aliya already get the point based on her expression alone, her eyes were widened with realization.

"Even after they get their revenge they still have to ransack other worlds to find the person that Nathan's soul resided but… wouldn't it make it so easier if he hid inside this kid's body?", Aliya glanced at Rin.

"What if he didn't? Remember, he is the God of the Underworld with thousands of enemies across all worlds. Those enemies are strong enough to just kill the person that his soul was in and kill his very soul, making him non-existent.", Elihim made a gesture and clutched his fist in front of Aliya. He pulled his arm and pointed his finger again, "Finally, there is one more thing that will make sure that his soul won't reside inside Rin's body."

"What?", Aliya seriously wanted to know.
