I Am Undying

They turned many left and right, different streets, they didn't cease to talked on their way and as usual, more than half of their conversation were just Dana talking. Rin just nod and answer yes or no or just plain replies while Dana did all the talking.

When Rin asked about where Danna lives, he learned that Dana's house was practically in the middle between his house and the school where they attend to.

There was one time where Dana murmured, "It would be convenient if you were to walk me home everyday after school." But because of Rin's virginity level which is higher than most, he couldn't processed what Dana said and ignored it or rather, couldn't believe it. He just thought, 'Hahah, my mind's playing tricks at me again."

When they were about to reach Dana's house, they have to pass a sketchy street. Coincidentally, after entering this street, they've noticed three suspicious men, frantically looking around anxiously opposite to them.

Strangers, such the overpowered weakness of Rin. The only person he was able to talk normally that wasn't his relative is Dana which is strange. Rin don't see anyone other than him Dan talked to like she was talking to him and Rin was unusually relaxed around her. So maybe they have a good chemistry or something?

But the indefinite proof of Rin's crazy virginity level were butting him that made him thought, 'Nahhh, that shouldn't be possible. Me and the school idol?? Ahahah, good joke. I shouldn't have my hope up or I'll just get hurt.' Even he was hurt by his own thoughts.

Rin was always thinking but he long had noticed that Dana became quiet this time. Her face was a bit serious.

Then, pain made him clenched his fist. He didn't realize but when they were closed to the three suspicious men, one naturally stopped and leaned on the wall, the second walked fast enough to left the third and got behind them, and finally the third, when they passed each other, put a knife at Rin's side.

They are now unknowingly trapped in a the street which is small to the point that it could be an alleyway.

The third was bald with a black coat whispered to him, "Leave your girl and every possession you have and you can spare your own life."

When Rin heard those words. The pain he was feeling did not get worse but he was, instead, became numb of it from rage.

He already considered Dana as his first and true friend or if they are still not friends, Dana was someone still important to him. He will not let those who's important to him suffer because of him or even if not any longer.

"Shut up.", Rin glared at the man with black coat.

"Hah! You can't intimidate me!", the bald man yelled as he thrust forward his knife, stabbing Rin's side, leaving him with immense pain, "I left you a chose and that's your attitude? I think you don't deserve a choice!", the bald man turned his knife while it was still inside Rin's side. Blood tainted his shirt and flows to his pants.

"Argh!", Rin's mind twisted in pain but he persevered and clutched the man's neck. He knew where part of the human's neck were the most vulnerable and sensitive to pain so he clutched those areas, leaving the bald guy surprised.

"Ahh! ..ughh!! How can you move? That should be... argh!*.. painful enough for you to faint.", with a confused looked, the bald man stared into Rin's eyes.

He felt more scared now from Rin's glare than before.

But even still, Rin doesn't want to kill someone so he released the bald man who plopped onto the ground. The bald man was struggling with pain while holding his neck. From such an immense pain from someone experience, it made the bald man wiggled like a worm.

Seeing the bald man couldn't retaliate anymore, slowly, Rin pulled out the knife. He wanted to cry in pain but from the suffering he had experience before, that was almost nothing.

He hid the knife inside the bald man's black coat. He didn't want to scare Dana that he could take such an attack and still be fine. He could still hide the blood stains for now.

Wait, speaking of Dana- Rin quickly turned his head towards Dana who was besides him the whole time.

But he didn't expect that he just saw Dana and two beaten guys.

"Did you do that?", Rin weakly point his finger.

Dana nodded and said, "Fortunately, none of them have any weapon or it may not easy for me."

"You know how to fight?", Although it make such sense that the genius school idol would be such a cliché well-rounded person, he still have to ask. On top of that, as beautiful a girl she is the more she need to protect herself.

Dana didn't replied but only nodded.

At this moment, Rin remembered something that's been bugging him.

"Dana!"

"Ah yes?!", Dana was a bit surprised when Rin yelled there.

"I've been meaning to ask you something…", Rin became fidgety and became like what he was back then. He suddenly became timid.

This greatly piqued Dana's curiosity and asked, "What?"

"Umm, I know that this is completely out of nowhere and… it is not the appropriate time but!..", Rin couldn't finish his sentence but he seemed to be mustering his courage.
