Chapter 17
Eirene tried to pull off her hands, but her hands wouldn’t come out. The middle-age man was also holding the plate firmly and holding it like a stone statue.
Moments later, a bell rang and a white light flashed a few times before turning odd from what looked like a bloodline magic tool.
As soon as the net that was holding her hand disappeared Eirene quickly grabbed her hand and hid it behind her back. Then, the child. who was about to hide behind Irene, made eye contact with the middle-aged man and was startled and stiffened.
Eirene seemed afraid of him even though she could meet the height of his gaze. The man’s attitude towards the child has become more respectful and noble than before.
The man kissed the back of her hand, then lifted up the corner of his mouth. As for the noble lady, who had her right hand held onto and kissed, Eirene kept on hiding. The gaze the man had been giving Eirene until now as if criticizing her had disappeared as if it had been a hallucination. His eyes were now filled with affection after confirming that Eirene has his master’s bloodline, his tightly shut mouth opened.
“It is time for you to return home, My Lady Eirene.”
In Irene’s ears, this was a cold notice of parting.
Eirene has left.
‘Thinking back, they only stayed together for a short time. This is better.’
They came like a storm, and didn’t even give Irene time to say goodbye to her younger sister. Before taking Eirene, there was also no formal inquiry about asking the child’s opinion. They acted as if they had no other opinion than to take their master’s lost daughter back if she was to be found.
Even though we’ve been together for years, when she asked for time to say goodbye to her, the man simply replied.
“The master has lost his daughter.”
Although it was expressed in a condescending way, it sounded as if they were implying that if she still insisted, she would be held responsible for the loss of his daughter.

Irene was proud, but if they were to put the sin of kidnapping on her…If one were to ask about it, everyone would know, which one is much more reliable; it’s the stork or the people. As time passed, it was impossible to track the stork’s footprints, so it was difficult to investigate whether the stork left any traces of magic. In the end, Irene had no choice but to back down.
The knight who simply made the crying Eirene, who did not want to leave, passed out, and gently embraced Eirene. The early morning guests disappeared like the wind, taking her family.

“Oh, it’s overflowing again.”
It’s been quite a while since my sister left, but Irene was still not used to it, so she often became dazed.
