Shao Liling was on the shore. Enjoying the sun, while Liu Shan was applying sunscreen on her. Shao Liqin was in the sea, in a strapless pink bikini, with her hair tied up in a tight bun. She looked cute, but no one knew what she had inside her.

Except Liling.

Shao Liling knew Liqin was jealous, just by her attempts of getting Liu Shan away from her. Shao Liling smirked inwardly, not caring about her wailing younger sister in the water, as she relaxed under the touch of Liu Shan.

It was summer, three years after Shao Liling and Liu Shan had graduated middle school, now they were in highschool, both 17 at that moment, who were about to reach eighteen in a few months and were taking a break from the bustling cities and the business incorporates. Shao Liling was still in school, but Liu Shan had already started to work at Liu Corp, doing work here and there to gain some experience. Shao Liqin was still in middle school, away from both her sister and ge ge.

"Ahhh, done! You better buy me three scoops for this premium massage!"

Liu Shan suddenly stood up for his foldable chair, and shoved Shao Liling on his shoulder, completely taking her from surprise. He fastened his steps as he reached nearer and nearer to the shore.

Feng Jiun just rolled her eyes, cutting the onions on that laid on the board, annoyed from the loud of wailing of her best friend. Both of them had worn a pair of shirts and shorts, they didn't like being in skimpy swimsuits, but both completely forgetting the fact that both had the body of goddesses, not forgetting their faces and personalities. People drooled when they saw the two beautiful young girls walking around the airport. Shao Liqin was dejected, because she looked more like a cute little girl, everyone gushed over her, leaving her fuming silently for treating her like a small child, but Feng Jiun had already caught on, the small mistakes Liqin does, taking time to cover her real emotions, her fake smile, the way she tries to gain favor from people, it was honestly very distasteful, Feng Jiun felt pity knowing that her Shao Liling had to stay with that fake brat her entire life.

"Go and get wet, old hag. You have to learn how to swim one day!"

Shao Liling's mind went to wrong directions, thinking about something else, and smirked. Feng Jiun who was cutting the onions quickly caught on from what Liling was thinking, and her eyes widened.

"No way! I didn't said that you could get laid!"

"Who said I was getting laid? Are you having dirty thoughts, Feng Jiun?"

Shao Liling was enjoying teasing Feng Jiun who was silent now and didn't talk. She didn't heard the Liu Shan who was laughing his butt off, shaking slightly from the pressure as tears rolled down his cheeks, he was honestly dying from laughter but he couldn't stop, once his feet were inside the refreshing water, his smile replaced with an evil grin. He knew Shao Liling knew what he was thinking when she suddenly got quiet.

"Don't you dare, I'll kill you, I promise"

"Too late for that, shouldn't have wasted your time talking with your dear friend Jiun"

They both heard Feng Jiun exclaim in anger that she wouldn't prepare the food for them, but both of them chuckled breathily. Liu Shan was getting tired from carrying Shao Liling, and she was having trouble breathing from the arms that were tightly clasped around her, making her feel suffocated.

"Don't...don't throw me"

Shao Liling said, and a memory flashed in her eyes, as she was engulfed in the water all of a sudden, the thoughts disappeared. She thrashed around with her frail arms, trying to find any pillar possibly in the middle of the sea. Her eyes were burning, the salty water entering and mouth and lungs, as bubbles formed around her.

Shao Liling was suddenly lifted out of the water, as she tried opening her eyes again, but they were too sore, and just stayed in the embrace of someone blindly, her mouth and tongue tasting gruesome, making her wish she could brush or at least gargle. This was kind of the experience Shao Liling had trouble enjoying, she hated swimming, her mind and body would not move a single inch when she had to swim, she just waited something that can take her away from it.

"Ummm, would you mind letting her go?"

Shao Liling's heard Liu Shan's voice from somewhere around her, now that he had seen that she was in some stranger's arms, he felt the need to protect her so he fearlessly demanded her back.

Shao Liling looked back and forth, she couldn't open her eyes, they were stinging like h*ll, she would have looked like a blind newborn kitten from anyone else's perspective. Shao Liling reached out her arms, silently asking wherever Liu Shan was to take her with him. She felt a pair of hands as they helped her inch towards them.

"It's me"

Liu Shan whispered, trying not to look suspicious to the person that had recently had Shao Liling in his arms.

The man nodded, as Liu Shan mouthed a thank you to him, and proceeded towards the others on the sand, ready with the grilled barbecue. They began eating as Shao Liling went and took a shower, coming back later with a towel around her neck with a pair of news shirt and shorts, people kept staring at her, but she did not heed any attention towards it, inching closer towards the group that awaited her.

"I'm baackkk"

"We're not blind"

Liu Shan sniggered, as she threw a glare at him, whining to Feng Jiun as she told her how betrayed she had felt when Feng Jiun had blurred that out. She just smirked,

"Heh, that's just my way of speaking"

Shao Liling sat down soon, relieved by the fact that Feng Jiun was not serious, and began to dig into the meat that lay in front of her. (A/N: Sorry if I offend anyone, you can imagine other food if you're uncomfortable)

As she was biting into the beef, Liu Shan began speaking out loud,

"Wasn't that dude the Video Game shop dude?"
