The roar was full of pride and dignity. And if you heard it clearly, there was a mix of extreme anger in this roar. It was like it was going to destroy this whole region of the forest.

Ronald wanted to run away, but his body won't move. He had a feeling that there was something or someone that was calling him there.

Due to this, there was a conflict of thought that cause his body to stay still.

After a moment, he finally made a decision to follow that feeling.

As Ronald came near the area. He heard the growling of at least 4 beasts.

Ronald immediately hid on a big rock and took a peek.

There he saw, one white tiger with wings fighting three black wolves. He immediately used his skill and check all of them.

The White Winged Tiger was a foreign beast that came to this region of the forest for some unknown reason. As for the wolves, they were known as the kings of this region.

Ronald wondered how the white winged tiger became extremely injured like that. He thought of many scenarios and possibilities where the wolves wounded the tiger, but he denied those things. As there isn't even a chance for a savage beast to fight a spirit beast even if they banded together. It is not like the difference between a normal animal and a savage beast, as there may be times when a strong normal animal can overpower or kill a weak savage beast. But from spirit beast onwards, the distinction in their ranks became clear as their raw strength are incomparable to the rank below them.

As Ronald was thinking of these things. The fight between the beasts had started.

Black tentacle-like energy appeared beneath one of the wolves and attacked the white winged tiger. The second wolf seemingly blended itself with the shade beneath the trees then disappeared from sight, a moment later, a big black claw appeared floating in the air as it attacked the white tiger. Lastly, the last wolf and the strongest of them confronted the white winged tiger head on as its body radiated with black light absorbing some attacks of the white winged tiger.

The white winged tiger attacked using wind to form a blade as it bombarded the black wolf. Even if the black wolf absorbed some of the attacks, it still caused massive damage to it, as its ability can only absorb an attack once per minute.

At one time the strongest wolf nearly got killed by a wind blade directed to its neck, luckily the first wolf that summoned some black tentacles protected it.

The white winged tiger's ability is extremely dangerous if used when it is in the air. But sadly for some reason, its left wing was injured and unable to move. So it was fighting tooth and nail with the wolves, as it used its blade-like winds at long range and used its claws covered with white energy to attack at close range.

The battle heated very quickly. As the wolves saw the obvious weakening of the white winged tiger, they attacked more savagely. Even the second wolf who hid in the shadows appeared and fought with the white winged tiger while controlling the big black claw.

The wolves were thinking about some amazing things which could be clearly seen in their excited expressions. The blood and meat of a spirit beast was very beneficial to savage beasts. By consuming its blood and meat there might be a chance to increase their rank, becoming a spirit beast. That is why the wolves took this chance to attack a spirit beast when they saw it extremely wounded.

The battle went on like that as the white winged tiger weakened, and the wolves became very excited.

After a moment the white winged tiger fell down as its legs became devoid of strength. As the wolves saw this, they stopped fighting and rested for some time before continuing to attack the white winged tiger, as it was still alive.

But one wolf stood up immediately after it laid down as it noticed something. Ronald was shocked when he saw the action of the wolf. He immediately hid his body behind the rock and slowed his breathing. His back was soaked with sweat as he imagined the consequences of the wolves discovering him. Even though he had already killed a savage beast, he wasn't confident on dealing those wolves. Though both of them are of the same rank, their strength was incomparable to each other. As in the first place, wolves are predators and rabbits are just their prey.

The wolf looked around at its surroundings and immediately gazed in the direction of the half-dead tiger. It sniffs around the air as if finding something. After some time the wolf seemingly became excited as its tail began to wag from left to right. It rushed on the half-dead body of the tiger.

The tiger growled angrily at it, but the wolf didn't mind it. It continued to look around the white winged tiger and afterward, an excited howl was heard.

As the tiger heard the wolf's howl. It growled angrily and wildly, as its eyes were turning red.

After a moment Ronald saw the wolf dragging the tail of a small tiger cub towards the position where the white winged tiger can clearly see the cub as if it was mocking it.

The eyes of the white winged tiger became redder and redder, as strong killing intent burst from its body.

After looking at the reaction of the white winged tiger, the wolf moved its mouth closer to the neck of the tiger cub slowly intending to bite its neck.

The other wolves also encouraged it as they also howl excitedly.

The wolf's canine was already touching the skin of the tiger when an unexpected thing happened.

A wild wind threw the wolf away, as it slammed on a thick tree.

As they caught sight of the white winged tiger, fear overcame them, as they became unable to move.

The white winged tiger had clearly changed as red patterns of appeared on its large body. Its eyes were red, observing the wolves as it stands slowly.

After standing the killing intent it released got heavier which brought the wolves down to the ground. As cracks appeared beneath them. Then the killing intent formed into three red giant wind blades.

The speed of the wind blades wasn't fast as it was slowly moving to their respective targets.

Though it was slow, the wolves didn't dodge as they couldn't dodge due to the fear that overcame them.

The wolves saw the red wind blades slowly cutting their shaking bodies into two without a sound and died.

After this move, the tiger fell down again, but this time it can no longer move its head. Though it can be seen that it was clearly still alive as it was clearly breathing very slowly.

Watching the whole battle Ronald was astounded by the strength of a spirit beast. Also in this battle, he now knew that beast also had feelings as he clearly saw the white winged tiger gave its all when it saw its cub going to die in a moment.

Ronald used to know the situation of the white winged tiger.

Ronald became sad when he saw this.

Due to the action of the white winged tiger, he remembered his mother as she protected him from the kids that bullied him.

When he was young, kids of his age bullied him about the fact that he had no father, and every time his mother saw this, she will drive them away.

He had asked his mother about his father but his mother's only reply was that his father was someone very amazing.

Though it was not in the same situation as of the white winged tiger. He can still clearly feel the love it had for its cub.

As Ronald was thinking about this, tears unknowingly flowed out of his eyes.

He got out from where he was hiding and move towards the tiger cub. The white winged tiger saw this, but it didn't have enough strength to even move its head. Its eyes were filled with fear, regret and extreme anger as it looked at Ronald.

Ronald approached the tiger cub that is sleeping soundly as though everything that happened around it didn't involve it.

Ronald hugged the tiger cub and brought it close to its mother and placed it near its mother's head.

The tiger saw this clearly and knew his intention. Its eyes were now filled with relief and regret.

Ronald wondered why would it feel regret, so he used his skill to check the status of the white winged tiger and was shocked by what he saw.

The tiger's health went down again, and after some time it went down to 2.

Seeing this Ronald realize that its health was going down by 1 in a minute. It is clearly dying that is why its eyes were filled with regret.
