Divine Beast Tamer

As the baby tiger was placed near its mother's head it stood up unsteadily and looked at its mother with its eyes closed.

Due to this Ronald realized that the cub wasn't sleeping it's just that it cannot see as its eyes weren't able to open yet.

It tried to open its eyes forcefully as it wanted to see its mother.

After a moment it finally succeeded in opening its eyes. But at this time its mother had taken its last breath with a calm and relieved expression.

Seeing this Ronald started to dig the ground beside the dead tiger, as he wanted its body to be properly buried in respect to its motherly love.

Though they said that every part of a spirit beast is a treasure, Ronald wasn't tempted by it as his feelings for his mother was greater than his greed for treasures.

After some time the little tiger finally noticed Ronald and saw his intentions of burying its mother. It decided to help him by using its little claws to dig but it wasn't helpful, though the little tiger still continued to help him.

After some time they finished digging a huge grave and then Ronald pushed the carcass of the white winged tiger to it.

Giving his all, Ronald pushed the dead body into the grave but it just shook a little, so he decided to put all his unassigned points to strength.

It was dusk when he finished all those things and decided to go home.

He put one of the wolves' carcasses in his inventory and left the other two for the tiger cub to eat.

Without looking back he continued to leave the area.

But before he got far away from the area, Ronald heard the growling and howling of a group of wolves. He hurriedly returned back to where the tiger cub was.

And just as he imagined, there he saw seven wolves preparing to encircle the little tiger. He used his skill and checked them one by one and through this, he found out that they are weaker than those three wolves that fought the tiger. Their levels are just between 3 - 7 lower than the levels of those three wolves that fought the tiger. Maybe this group is made by young wolves as their first group hunting experience as they weren't that coordinated which caused the encirclement to be delayed.

Ronald directly grabbed the little tiger and ran.

Though Ronald is confident in winning against them if he fought them, he still decided to run. As fighting them would only make him tired. And also he was worried that there would be other wolves coming to reinforce this batch of wolves.

The wolves chased them automatically as they saw him grab the little tiger. While chasing them, the wolves were howling excitedly.

Ronald ran with everything he got and after hours of running, he finally lost them.

Ronald laid his back on the roots of a big tree. And rested, he was very tired from all that running. He put the little tiger on his lap. But then it jumped at him and started licking his face.

Maybe due to extreme tiredness, he passed out.

Later at night, Ronald woke up and looked around.

He was currently lying on a giant tree root, and not far from it was a small lake that was as clear as crystal. It looked very beautiful as the moonlight falls into the lake and as the lake reflected the moon.

While Ronald was absorbed in this beautiful scenery, he suddenly felt himself touching something smooth and soft. And as he looked on what it was, his smile grew wider. It was the little white tiger.

It is currently sitting beside him and in front of it was a small pile of unknown berries.

It was as if it was giving him an offering as a way of saying thank you.

Ronald used and checked the berries the little tiger got for him.

And his smile grew even wider.

Though these berries were found here, It was not available to the village.

That means that the place where the little tiger found it was a hidden location or there was something unknown and something dangerous over there that hindered a human but not a beast to access these berries.

Ronald ate one and put the rest on his inventory and petted the head of the little white tiger and smiled.

Then he used his skill and check the little tiger as he was curious about it. It was his first time seeing an offspring of a spirit beast.

Ronald was shocked when he saw the little tiger's hp.

Although it's level was just 1. It is clearly stronger than him. So with this, he realized that the little tiger didn't need his help as it can protect itself.

He was feeling down when he knew this. All he did was for nothing

After a while, he comforted himself by telling himself that the little tiger didn't know how to fight as it was still young.

After comforting himself, Ronald got up and checked his map. After seeing that he was not that far from the exit of the Everlast forest, he relaxed his mind.

He walked near the lake and took a drink.

The water of the lake was very cold and refreshing. Then he looked at his reflection on the lake. And there he saw his face. He had a silver colored hair, hawk-like eyes with light silver irises, and a sharp looking face.

When his mother was still alive, his mother will always tell him that his face is the exact copy of his father's face.

Then he noticed the little tiger was also looking at the water seemingly confused. It's like thinking, "how did that little tiger there, does it live under the water?" Ronald laughed out loud thinking about this.

Then he asked the little tiger that was still looking at the lake, "Wanna come and join me?"
