An Ton's Journey

Well, it seems that for now, everything slowed down. After destroying obelisk, I had no reason to buŧŧ in anymore. Obviously, Church of unity had a way to recreate it again, but I doubt that it would be easy to remove this religion from this world. It didn't really matter that what they've done is horrible, they were everywhere.

And as a newcomer to this world, I could see that it was one of the main existing religions. And I really doubt that I could remove it's influence by myself, at least within reasonable timeframe.

Like, really. I wouldn't waste decades just to save this world, especially when Aizek, to my knowledge would do it himself. Obviously faster and in a much more crude way- by destroying the source of moons that were the source of the infection.

I don't really remember exact details about them, but I know that they will be activating.

What Would I do? Well.

I'll go to earth and live. Then, maybe. If I would be in a mood, and this world's games, movies and books wouldn't be too interesting, I will act.

" Sir, please, don't stand in the middle of the entrance." spaceport guard said to me.

" Oh, sorry " I replied, moving out of the way. I better stop falling in my thoughts too deeply and pay attention to other people. I spent too much time alone.

Boarding my ship after it was checked for any illegal stuff, I lifted off and turned to the station.

Engine on ships of this world is a very interesting thing. It worked on principles that I didn't know about, but they intersected with my knowledge.

What is important, they can make an extremely fast jumps between points in space. And my travel wouldn't be long.

So, as I left no jump zone around the station, I proceeded to jump to Earth.

As I landed on it and bypassed all the necessary checking procedures, I began enjoying this place. Or so I hoped.

This Earth is nothing like I know, not even a little bit of familiarity with ones I knew about.

Extremely high skyscrapers, bad atmosphere, almost no greenery. Nothing resembled the Earth. It looked like alien world that didn't care about it's world.

Ahh.. yes. They dug up planets and systems for resources. Why would they even try to make it livable and green. They can have their own green enclosed cities, while earth dies beneath their feet.

I was not really one for ' Save the planet ' guy, but it was earth. The one and only. The first human planet for almost every world.

~ Week later ~

I bought an apartment at a high and low altitudes. For now, I would need to establish some business so it could bring me some official income. After all, this is the world I'm stuck on. I will need to figure out a way to get rid of my health troubles, and looking at the strangely underdeveloped entertainment faculty of this world, I won't be able to enjoy playing games and watching movies. At least until Either I reintroduce this concept in a way that could be shared across all stations and worlds humans spread to, or just make it my own expertise.

Why does these harsh words have almost no concept of having simple and cheap entertainment for everyone? Well... it's a harsh world. I think it should be enough of a reason...

" Young man, move. stop standing in front of the entrance to the cafe. " An old lady said to me, as I again froze while thinking.

" Sorry... " I replied, leaving this place and trying to better understand how people live in here.

~ three weeks later ~

Well. It seems that Aizek still destroyed the station, making him a global enemy of the government. I expected it to take more time, but oh. It doesn't really matter.

Why it doesn't matter? Because I don't care.

What I care, is that My condition is stabilized. I can finally pay less attention to the golden dust that was collecting on my body for months.

" Sir, you have an appointment in twenty minutes. " Said my secretary.

What secretary? Well. I decided to create a company, and officially it works on government. They agreed on idea of " Make Earth Green again " to appease public and ensure that they will keep their places.

Well, I MIGHT'VE influenced some people a little bit, but it is not important. What is important, is that I currently can provide few efficient ways to clean the planet, but they all would take time.

In fact, they would take longer than I want, so I decided to invite couple of businesses to participate. For me - more resources and money to create clearing stations, for them - less taxes and an advertisement.

" We care about future "

" Let us restore planet together "

" Future on green planet "

And other ways to make public think that companies care about them.

Well, they will care, but they don't know it yet.

As for why I decided to use my force to actively change people's minds? It is otherwise impossible to do in short time, and I already passed a point of caring about it being 'bad' and 'immoral'.

Result is what I want.

I want a nice house in a place with nice view, nice internet, and a lot of ways to entertain me.

I don't really want to have kids, I have Hive for it, I don't really care about being alone because of it and my basic introverted personality. Especially when I'm not really forced to do anything.

What Is worrying though, is that Church of unity tries to create obelisk on Earth.

How do I know?

I can feel it. And I already connected my console to internet.

And let me tell you. It is based on Zeoss's schematic, which is highly superior to current technology.

The only problem was connection to the internet, as systems worked in different ways.

But nothing that two weeks of reading and finding common points can't fix. Especially with adaptable console that was made exactly for situations like that.

I don't really know how exactly it does it, but after you find a way to connect them, console would begin it's work...

Well, again I went in a random direction that I shouldn't have.

~ After the meeting ~

It's interesting how Force can influence people. It must be the reason for it's slow acceleration in growth of strength.

Maybe.

Well, nevermind.

As I successfully signed couple of contracts and established a supply line for my robots to use, I can go and destroy unfinished obelisk...

What? If I can, I would prevent it's appearance in the first place.

Should I go full stealth or ȧssassin's creed Stealth? Or maybe hitman stealth?

My stealth...

As night was approaching, I flew to the factory that was creating it. Strangely enough, they were making three different obelisk's, but only one of them emitted waves similar to the one I already destroyed once.

Well, approaching a wall that was closest to the obelisk's position, I, still being invisible, was thinking of trying to apparate or blink like dark templars, but I had not enough energy for either action, so I went with the quick and loud infiltration.

I didn't destroy the wall in big explosion, I just created a hole by moving part of the wall and flying in, while some small pieces fell down on the floor, showing that this factory was built to unsatisfactory degree.

Obviously, all alarms went wild, as missing and flying wall that calmly flies down on to the floor is hard to not notice.

All the other walls were being removed at the same time, as I just opened a pathway to the obelisk's position and floated them all away, while throwing poisonous grenade in, making everyone have problems with their hand coordination for the rest of their lives.

At least until they die by bleeding out from all of their orifices in few minutes...

What? They deserve it. I even placed walls back. I'm good! At least until I get bored of being good.

As for the Aizek and his adventures? Again. I don't give a fuċk!

Now, back to the Earth cleaning initiative, I think I might have a hard time, as current situation, after looking deeper in it, is dire.

I'm surprised how people can even survive in such conditions. They must have good immune systems.

As for the church of unity, they had many faces. For poor and religious people they were the only hope and law. For rich and knowledgeable - a dangerous influence and an organisation that should be evaded.

Sadly, their church had a lot of people who infiltrated everywhere and could sway or change anything in favour of the church. Well, mostly anything. Obviously government had people who understood danger of these fanatics and tried to not let them in. Especially after they had a contact with necromorphs.

I doubted them and their capabilities at first, but it seems that the war that Aizek witnesses in a game is just a peak of an iceberg.

As I had no real reason to hack or change anything in a programs of this world, and AI was no longer by my side, I could only intercept all the information concerning obelisks. And if government wouldn't have resisted church's influence and actions, all humans would've already become necromorphs. Or monsters, as I like to call them.

Thankfully, I can get any information that is sent using internet, so I would be able to respond to any situation before if really happens. As for people knowing about my intervention? there is no way for them to know, especially when I used invisibility all the time I was doing any shady stuff like eradicating human trash from the face of the planet.

~ time passes ~

Next few months were pretty bland, as church slowed down on converting the Earth and concentrated their attention on other colonies. Especially on further ones, where government wouldn't have as much influence as they have on earth.

As for me and my project to clean the earth, it was currently in the middle of creating conversion facilities, where trash would get recycled and turned into details or energy for further expansion of my cleaners.

As for my robot cleaners, they obviously were not just cleaners. It was their secondary function. Especially when no-one really cared about them. They worked outside of cities, cleaning wastelands and garbage piles that were so big, that they created islands with mountains higher than some buildings.

Well, enough trash talk. I cleaned my first few cracks and was happily enjoying my heatbath, as it was heating my bones enough for me to feel warmth even without many sėnsɨtɨvė parts.

Well, if you could call fiery hell a heatbath... obviously.

I don't really want to establish dominance over the world and lead it in the future, but I definitely won't stop myself from taking an important role in eradicating inhuman humans that wanted humans to go extinct. Well, and I might want to enjoy lavish life when I restore my body. Who would decline an opportunity to live a good life?

~ Week later ~

Church of unity tried to infiltrate my organisation. Like, it tried replacing humanoid android made by me with a human of their own that looked like my android that was working in an office.

What? I don't trust humans of this world.
