The sky was turning dark. Ye Fei awakened into a state of confusion.

The moment she opened her eyes, she thought she was dreaming. She couldn't understand why the square-shaped prison cell had turned into a luxurious palace.

Only after seeing the nightgown that had fallen to the floor, did she remember her current situation. She couldn't help but taunt herself. She had spent far too long in jail; she wasn't used to life outside anymore.

Raising her head and looking around, the man had left. She supported her back and sat up on the couch. There wasn't a single spot on her body that wasn't in pain.

Walking into the bathroom, she saw green and purple marks on her body and she was a little perplexed. Then, she smiled. It was just that her smile was laced with lonely heartbreak.

See, she succeeded.

As she wished, she had become Su Mohan's woman. One of his many women.

Turning on the shower, gushing water streams poured onto her head and trickled down. As if it was a giant rainstorm, Ye Fei allowed the surging water to hit her face until she felt heavy suffocation.

This suffocation reminded her of the last six years of torture. Six years… how long are six years?

Ye Fei stood in the shower for a long time. So long that the butler waiting outside was worried if something had happened.

Just as he was about to call the maids to go check up on her, the water suddenly stopped. Ye Fei casually threw on a bathrobe and walked out while drying her hair.

The butler's gaze first clashed onto her long lean white legs. He felt himself losing breathe but quickly shifted his gaze.

"Miss Ye, this is the contract young master Su asked me to prepare. If you have no objections, please sign it." The butler passed over a booklet-sized contract. His tone was peaceful and had absolutely no affection.

Ye Fei didn't even read it over before she coolly signed her name. Nobody knows better than her that the so-called rules he mentioned, were all rules she had to follow. That man will always be deemed to be above the rules. So, what difference did it make whether she reads it or not?

"Miss Ye, according to our original agreement, we should be paying you a fee of five million. But since the new contract has come in effect, there is no longer a need to pay you any fees. So, after you are ready, you may leave at any time."

"I know."

After putting on the clothes the maids brought, Ye Fei left straight away. Just like she had said to Su Mohan, she had no plans to ask for any financial support.

She needed money, but Ye Fei wasn't sad about it. She thought this was for the better anyway. At least she didn't sell herself and on the contrary, she had slept with the empire's most powerful man for free.

Ye Fei sat in her taxi and planned her next moves. However, she strangely felt a desire to pay a visit to the Ye family. She wanted to see just what kind of lives they were living while she wore her prison uniform and sat in her tiny cage that disallowed her from seeing the sky.

After around half an hour, the cab stopped at a corner outside of the Ye family's large mansion. The leafy branches hid half of the car but the spot they were parked at allowed Ye Fei to see what was going on inside the mansion.

The luxurious Ye family mansion was a villa. It is located in the famous wealthy people's neighborhood in the capital city. Its worth is so high that people drooled over it.

Currently, the entire villa was lit up with light. There seem to be a large gathering going on. The dazzling neon laser lights had decorated the villa into a castle that shines. The white long tables in the garden were well set up with exquisite pastries and an assortment of delicacies. The tower of wine glasses on the side was reflecting the blinding fireworks.
