A Twilight Promise

Three days passed, but not in vain. The Drama Club held a lot of meetings, on Raine and also in the cafeteria. The girls learn costume making, while the boys learn equipment making. Kaori ensured that they work without fail. It was tiring but fun to all of them.

"Well done, everyone. The next step is about writing a script for this play. A script is used to guide each roles into performing actions, reading out the lines and also contains the flow of the play. I'll leave this to you, so please work together." Kaori said. Ryujii and the others nodded.

Writing the script is the only thing they cannot do at all, while everyone is thinking hard for solutions, Yuuki got an idea. She whispered into Ryujii's ears, it sounds like a good idea for him as well. And they proceeded to call for help.

Afternoon, while they already called for help, the people they called, are not other than Fumi and her fellow club members, Makoto and Shun. Fumi agreed to help with the script, as she knows a friend who wrote scripts for the drama club in their college. But that comes with a commission fee.

"May I have the person's contact number?" Yuuki asked. "Ah sure, here is her number." Yuuki directly dialed the number and walked towards a corner of the room. She said something and then nods repeatedly. Afterwards she hangs up the phone call.

She comes back with a grin on her face. Everyone is curious about how it went. "So how is it?" Fumi asked. "It went very well! I just told her that she can take half of the ticket fees if she can write a brilliant one!" The others are dumbfounded. The question that came to mind is: is the half of the ticket fees are even enough for her payment?

On the other hand, the so called script writer Rin, is trembling with joy. She is anxious about meeting Yuuki, not to mention that she will finally writing a script for someone else. She is happy, really happy.

Equipments are prepared by Sakura and Daisuke. While Yamato and Ami designs the costumes for possible roles. The process was tiring, but they enjoyed it.

Evening, Yuuki, Ryujii, Fumi and her friends went to the rooftop. The Sun didn't waste any seconds to sink in the horizon. The colours of the night blends in, slowly. It's twilight. Yuuki's eyes are sparkling with excitement. That is how she likes twilights, and it somehow spread to her friends. She must be very happy.

Yuuki paused for a while and tries to fake a smile. "No, Nothing happened recently, I'm very healthy, perfect health you know... I guess I'm heading back. See you tomorrow." Yuuki said and then walked away.

Ryujii didn't suspect a thing, and turned around and went back to his room. Headaches do occur frequently to him, but it's not that severe that he passed out last time. He took in all the medicines given to him, which at least helped by alleviating the symptoms. "I wonder if she's taking her medicines?" he thought.

Yuuki back in her room picked up her pillow and looked at her bed sheets. Pills of all kinds are piled underneath her pillow. She felt guilty for lying to Ryujii. She cried.

Kaori knocks on her door. And she enters the room seeing her crying, Yuuki quickly covered the pills with her pillow. Kaori felt something is wrong. And asked Yuuki to show what's underneath the pillow. Kaori sighed, shaking her head. "Yuuki-chan, you know? Dr. Hiro is working so hard every day to find the cure of your condition. If you don't take medication as expected, it will only make him sad. Not to mention Ryujii-kun as well." Kaori said.

"I made them sad... I'm so sorry... Waaaaah!" Yuuki cried for a while in Kaori's arms. She then took her medicines and then fell asleep. Dr. Hiro knocked the door. He came in and saw Kaori. "Miss Kaori, thanks for taking care of Yuuki-chan." He said.

Kaori told him that she didn't take her medicines and she finally start taking them just now. Dr. Hiro is unexpectedly calm after hearing this. "I knew her long enough to anticipate this. It's good for her to take medications as expected." Dr. Hiro said as he leaves the room.

Kaori, who has a reason to make the first play happen, have a bad feeling about Yuuki. She leaves the room as well, leaving Yuuki sleeping in her room.

Yuuki woke up and spits out the pills she pretended to swallow. And slept in tears. A storm is secretly brewing between them.
