A Twilight Promise

Yuuki proposed that the Drama Club needs to be organised, she will be the president, while Ryujii will be her assistant. Ryujii didn't refuse and he started thinking.

While he's thinking, the people Yuuki gathered consists of three children, Aki, Fuyuko, Miku. Two teenage girls, Ami and Sakura. 3 teenage boys, Haruto, Daisuke and Yamato. They introduced themselves and Yuuki claps her hands all the time.

After a long introduction talk, Yuuki wants to appoint a treasurer and several other people who will be in charge with making tools and costumes. Kaori steps in. "Good afternoon, my name is Nakamura Kaori, I'm also helping Yuuki-chan in the management of the Drama Club, let's think that I'm your advisor teacher as in school clubs." Kaori said in a slight smile.

"Ugh did she just smiled? She usually shows her stone face all the time, but she looks cute huh?" Haruto said to his other two male peers. They seemed to have fun joining in the club.

"Then it's decided, Haruto and Ami, both of you will be the treasurer, while Sakura, Daisuke and Yamato will be in charge of the Drama Club tools preparations!" Yuuki said proudly, the club seems lively, they sure want to enjoy youth despite the fact that they can't attend school at all.

Ryujii kept quiet, Yuuki turned to him." Ryujii-kun, what do you think about our brand new club? Eh?! You weren't listening at all?!" Yuuki exclaimed. That startled Ryujii. And he said something important. "Ah... I was thinking about our first play. Shouldn't we think about that first?" Yuuki suddenly understood, and also started thinking.

The others are also thinking. Kaori breaks the silence. "It's already time for Ryujii-kun to be examined. I'll think of it first. I do think you all have mobile phones yes? Yuuki, jot down everyone's contact and give it to me later. You are dismissed." Kaori said to everyone and then proceed to bring Ryujii away.

"You did smile just now, right?" Ryujii responded with a question. Kaori is surprised and laughed a little. "Fufufu... You are observant huh, I was a ghost member of a drama club when I was in high school. I never had a chance to participate any plays at all. In the end, I left the school with regrets for not enjoying my youth to the fullest. What a sad story huh?" Kaori said.

"I guess you are right, by any means, please take good care of our club in the future." Ryujii stopped his footsteps and bowed to Kaori, his passion reached Kaori, she smiled and pats his head. "Sure thing, boy." Kaori said before proceed walking towards the examination room. Ryujii smiled and follows her.

Yuuki started a group chat on Raine, she added all of the club members and began chatting with them. She suddenly felt down, because she never actually thought about performing at all. She asked the group to think of a play to perform but to no avail. Ami suddenly replied. "Why not we ask our president's assistant to think with us?" Yamato also replied. "Yeah, Ryujii-senpai is really sharp to point this out, maybe we should really listen to him." Yuuki pouted and replied. "Okay..." She looked outside the window, and picked up the Eternal Twilight. "Ryujii-kun... You are always shining, even though you appeared in a different sky, your shine can still find a way through... You are so... Amazing..." She murmured.

"Who is amazing?" Ryujii slides open the door. Which startles Yuuki a lot. "Uwaaaaaah!!! H-How did you get here?! Aren't you supposed to go for examination?!" Yuuki exclaimed, with her face in red. Ryujii pointed outside the window, it was already evening. He managed to get back to her to look at the twilight together.

They went up to the rooftop, and watched the sky, the light was blinding, that Ryujii couldn't open his eyes wide. Yuuki on the other hand, couldn't open her eyes wide, thus everything that appears in her eyes, are just Ryujii, alone. The lights faded, it's twilight. The lights reflected on the distant buildings formed a butterfly pattern. Ryujii pointed at it, and Yuuki laughs. No matter what he did, she always laughed. The laugh, is the treasure he wants to protect, until the end of his life.

"Look, the two buildings there forms a butterfly with those lights!"

"I once said. It was fun on the rooftop, and now it is not. Remembering all the happy moments, is a must. Especially her smile."
