Chapter 3 - Three

"Still confident?" Kyle said, chuckling quietly.

"If I didn't know better, I'd say you don't think I can do this." John said.

He looked around the giant encampment and saw a number of around three hundred bandits.

'That'll level needs up a few times. They all seem to be around level five.' John stretched for a moment before he looked at Kyle. "Don't wait up." He jumped from the ledge and landed on top of a bandit.

Three bandits sat in a group and laughed about their favorite nobles to rob. Suddenly, they heard fluttering above them, and one was soon crushed under a figure cloaked in black, with a strange sword.

John stabbed through the bandit's heart, killing him instantly.

[1x Level 3 Bandit Killed; 10 Exp.]

As the other two bandits started yelling to their friends, John was quickly surrounded by at least ten level fives, three level threes, and a level eight great bandit.

John looked at all of them. "You not gonna call anymore friends?"

The great bandit shook his head. "We will be enough."

John smirked under his helmet and raised his hand. "Were it so easy..." he focused his attention on the level threes, rasing them into the air as they felt something strangling them, before they felt their throats snap, dropping to the ground dead. "...I would not be here."

[3x Level 3 Bandit Killed; 30 Exp.]

He then proceeded to walk towards a frozen level five, decapitating him and two others.

[3x Level 5 Bandit Killed; 60 Exp.]

John smiled under his helmet and began to cut down the frozen level fives, before the great bandit punched him, sending him flying across the camp.

[Level Up: Level 2, Attribute points: 3]

John quickly steadied himself and put all three points into agility, raising it: 6 -> 9.

As John resized other bandits came out to watch, he received an update.

[Main Quest updated: To Become a Chief; Defeat the Great Bandit Chieftain and gain control of the bandits.]

[Rewards: 600 Experience, 25 gold coins, 2x slots ticket]

John looked towards the level eight bandit and asked for his name. "My name is Haytham."

"Mine is John, and I want to challenge you for control of these forces."

The great bandit Haytham looked around at his men, who all began to laugh. "I will accept your challenge. If I lose, you can kill me or let me serve under you." Haytham pulled out his giant sword and John shook his head.

John sliced at Haytham, who blocked the vibrosword with his large blade. The vibrosword took a piece of the sword off, and John jumped back.

Haytham looked at his blade. "How did you do that?"

John shrugged. "No idea." John raised his hand and began to choke Haytham from a distance, to which some bandits were shocked seeing.

"What's he doing?"

"Are you a demon?"

"What the hell is that?"

As Haytham dropped his sword, he managed to get out the words: "I surrender."

Hearing him, John dropped him on the ground and looked up at Kyle for a moment.

"Now bow down to your new Chief." John said menacingly.

All the bandits looked at each other before looking at Haytham. "You heard the Chief." Haytham said. With that, the remaining bandits bowed down before John spoke again.

"I can only take twenty of you with me right now, the rest will move our base of operations closer to this place." John mapped out his route to the camp on the ground, which some bandits copied down into maps. They began to move everything closer to the village as John, Kyle and Haytham, followed by 19 others returned to the village.

When Well and the others saw John and Kyle followed by bandits the only thought they had was: 'Its over.'

When John walked up to Well, he spoke. "I've taken over the bandit camp and am moving them closer to your village. They've got enough spoils that you will be able to pay the tax in a few months, however, you offered me the title of village chief as well."

As Well heard him, he sighed. "Yes, yes I did. Well then, I guess I have to give you the title."

[Main Quest Complete: To Become a Chief]

As John told the bandits to go out and hunt for the village, Haytham followed him into his home. "This is a crappy little village, Chief."

John nodded. "Yes, but it's mine now, and it will be my base of operations. When the rest of the men and women get the outpost set up, we'll move the villagers there to help out once all of the moving is done. Make sure you tell the men I said no one is to touch the villagers in any way."

Haytham put his hand on his ċhėst, hitting his heart once. "Of course, Chief."

John stood at the top of the tower, looking over his men who began constructing the wooden houses. "System, what slot tickets do I have?"

[2x Rare slots ticket]

"Use both of them." The system quickly obliged and the slots began spinning. Two landed on a blue box, while the third landed on a vibroknife.

[2x rare Arc Trooper Kits, 1x common vibroknife.]

The second slots began spinning and landed on droid blueprints.

[1x B-2 Super Battle Droid Blueprint, 1x Droid Factory Blueprint, 1x BX-Series Droid Commando Blueprint.]

"So I can get building blueprints?"

[Yes, it cost 10,000 gold to build the Droid factory.]

"Show me my STATUS."
