You're My Only Star

Song Xing Xing entered her apartment and dropped down on the sofa with a long sigh.

Yesterday, she had the final screening for that episode she was in charge of. Although Producer Ming had said that it was perfect, some big bosses wanted her to do some minor adjustments.

In the end, that minor adjustment kept on changing and Song Xing Xing had to spend her night in the company, making those adjustments until everyone was finally satisfied.

This morning, she had to show her edited episode to the big bosses again. Fortunately, this time, everyone agreed that her last episode had passed the final screening.

By the time she left the building, Song Xing Xing was too tired. Her body felt cold and all she wanted at this moment was to find her bed and sleep for a long time.

The cat let out a meow before he sat down on his master's tummy.

"Meow." The creature blinked slowly at her before he looked away.

"I know. I'll go and put some food in your bowl, alright?" Song Xing Xing said. "Will you get off me now?"

The cat stared at her for a few seconds as if inspecting whether she was telling him the truth. Then, he jumped down from his master's tummy and ran over to the kitchen. He stopped as he reached his bowl and stared at his master again.

Song Xing Xing glanced at the dry food dispenser and clicked her tongue. "You still have a lot of food. Why don't you eat your dried food?"

The cat meowed before he started to rub his body on his master's legs. Seeing the way he reacted, Song Xing Xing opened up the cabinet and took out one packet of his favorite wet food.

Once the cat had started to eat, Song Xing Xing went back to her room, took a shower, and went to bed to sleep.

When she woke up again, it was nearly six o'clock.

As soon as she woke up, her stomach started to growl. It was at this time that she remembered that she had skipped her breakfast and lunch. Earlier, she was too sleepy and could not be bothered to think about food.

While waiting for Grasshopper to show up, Song Xing Xing opened a stall and tried to sell some materials. They were in the town center where there would be a lot of players gathering around.
