You're My Only Star

Huo Yun Chen looked at the evidence in his hand and felt a chill on his back. 

He could still remember that he was on his way to an audition to become a spokesperson for a huge brand. He was on his way to the airport to catch his flight when a van suddenly rammed into his car.

The driver was mildly injured but because the van rammed at the back passenger's seat, Huo Yun Chen was the one who had suffered the most.

He received the most impact and his leg was stuck. It took quite some time for the rescuers to get him out. Because of that, it was a little too late to treat his legs and the doctor said that he might have to prepare for the worst.

When this incident happened, he was at the peak of his career. He was one of the top singers and his voice was used to sing soundtrack for a few dramas and movies. In that year, he had endorsed several famous brands.

But everything fell apart after the accident.

When he could not move his legs the way he wanted to, Huo Yun Chen wanted to give up on everything. He no longer appear in public and his appearance was so messy that one might think of him as a homeless person.

He mostly stayed inside his house doing nothing but lazing around. Anyway, he had already accumulated a lot of money that would be enough for him to last for a lifetime if he spend them wisely.

Then, he started to play 'Legend of the Sky' and become acquainted with Song Xing Xing and a few amazing friends who would often give him support. With this game, he learned that it was important not to give up and fight back.

Even though the bosses were hard to defeat, as long as he worked hard and worked together with his team, nothing is really impossible.

After talking to his friends in 'Legend of the Sky', he decided that he could not stay in his situation. Just sitting alone and wasting his time would not give him anything.

Later, he began to cooperate with the treatment until he could walk again. He called his manager and told him that he wanted to return to the entertainment industry.

All this time, he had thought that everything was an accident and would have never thought that there was someone who wanted to harm him.

Seeing the evidence in his hand made his heartbreak.

He had a clear conscience and knew that he had never done anything that would harm others around him. Huo Yun Chen really could not understand why Yan Yi Xie would do such things.

Repeatedly trying to harm him and wanting to bring him down. Just what sort of grudge did Yan Yi Xie have against him?

Now that he thought about it after he failed to attend the audition, it was Yan Yi Xie who was chosen as the spokesperson.

"The people who had helped me to investigate this matter are credible people," Lu Xun said. "You can be assured that the evidence that we found is legitimate. Although a few years has passed, that person had left his track everywhere. Perhaps, after a few times of trying to harm you, he had gotten bolder and no longer care to hide."

In the beginning, Yan Yi Xie was quite careful with everything he had done. However, seeing that Huo Yun Chen did not seem to care and never bothered to investigate everything around him, Yan Yi Xie no longer bother to hide. He was no longer as careful as he used to be and had left a few trails here and there.

The person that had helped to investigate Yan Yi Xie found a clue and decided to follow it. Who would have thought that Yan Yi Xie would be so wicked?

Especially since he had a good image as a celebrity.

Huo Yun Chen's hand around the paper tightened. 

There was too much information in his hand that it would take him a while to process what was going on.

Brother Xiang's face was solemn as he looked at the documents. As the person who has been by Huo Yun Chen's side from the moment he debuted, Brother Xiang was most familiar with the little accident that happened to the celebrity.

"President Lu, we cannot let him go," Brother Xiang said. "Since he had dared do such crimes, Yan Yi Xie will have to receive the consequences. Otherwise, he might think of himself as invisible and continue to do something to hurt Huo Yun Chen."

"I agree," Lu Xun nodded. Then, he turned to Huo Yun Chen. "What do you want to do now? Since we have the evidence, we should hand everything over to the police. Let them take care of it." Seeing that the celebrity did not speak a word, Lu Xun heaved a heavy sigh. "Or would you want to think of it first?"

"Yun Chen..." Brother Xiang frowned. Knowing the celebrity's temperament, Brother Xiang was most worried that Huo Yun Chen would not want to take action. 

"We should hand this matter over to the authorities," Huo Yun Chen said.

In the past, he might not care about this and would be very forgiving. But now that he has someone he wanted to protect... he cannot continue to be stupid. Not everyone in this world deserved a second chance. Moreover, he had already given Yan Yi Xie several chances before.

Hearing his words, Brother Xiang finally heaved a sigh in relief.

"Then, I will contact the authorities and let them deal with this matter," Lu Xun said. Seeing that they have agreed to this, Lu Xun decided that this matter was over and wanted to leave.

"President Lu, hold on." Huo Yun Chen stopped him before he could leave.

"You have something to say?"

Huo Yun Chen nodded. "I know that handing over the evidence to the authority is something that we should do. Yan Yi Xie had a very good reputation in the industry as well as among his fans."

Lu Xun pushed his glasses up with his finger as he waited for Huo Yun Chen to say his opinion.

"I think, instead of handing everything to the authorities, we should tear up his facade and let his fans see his true self," Huo Yun Chen said. "This way, when the police took action, his fans would not say anything to back him up."

When he thought of Xia Yu's face after she was attacked by those people, Huo Yun Chen could not be at ease. He would not be satisfied with watching Yan Yi Xie receive that punishment.

Since Yan Yi Xie valued his face in front of his fans so much, then, he should help to tear it off.
