"Little Star?" Xia Yu looked at her friend with a surprised look on her face. It was then that she realized that Song Xing Xing was not alone. Behind her, the bespectacled man stood tall as if guarding his wife.

Xia Yu wanted to stand up to greet them but with her condition, it was hard for her to move around.

"Just stay there," Song Xing Xing said as she came closer.

"Mrs. Lu, President Lu, hello." Xia Yu greeted, followed by the caretaker.

Song Xing Xing glanced at her husband and smiled. "Just call me Little Star like you always do. You don't have to be this polite with me, Xia Yu."

Xia Yu could only smile. How was it possible for her to call Song Xing Xing by her game ID with her husband around? Xia Yu thought that it would be improper.

Song Xing Xing looked at the caretaker and the girl excused herself, giving a reason that she needed to visit the washroom before their flight. She watched the caretaker walk away and sat down beside her friend.

Meanwhile, Lu Xun stood nearby as he waited for his wife to talk to her friend. His gaze did not leave his wife as he was worried that something might happen to her.

As if she had realized something, Song Xing Xing looked up and scanned her surroundings. "Huo Yun Chen did not come over to send you?"

Her heart skipped a beat upon hearing the man's name. "No. He's a big celebrity. It would be troublesome if he appeared at the airport."

Song Xing Xing laughed. "That's true. I almost forgot that he's a big celebrity."

The corner of her lips tilted into a smile.

Xia Yu recalled the last time she had seen Huo Yun Chen and heat crept up her face. After he had asked her to consider him as her boyfriend, Huo Yun Chen had not come over to visit her at Lin You's apartment.

The two of them would only communicate through messages and phone calls. Each time, he would ask her about her well-being.

Even though she could sense that he was anxious to know her answer, Huo Yun Chen had never pressured her and had waited patiently. Sometimes, Xia Yu felt a little guilty. It felt as if she was giving him false hope.

However, she had promised him that she would think about his question and that was what she has been doing for the past few days.

"Xia Yu, are you prepared?" Song Xing Xing asked. Her expression turned serious as she thought of what Xia Yu would have to face the moment she returned to A City.

"Un." Xia Yu flashed an assuring smile. "Don't worry. I'll be fine."

"That's good." Song Xing Xing heaved with relief. "The lawyer will find you once you arrived at the airport. You don't have to worry about anything. I have arranged everything for you. Xia Yu, you only have to show up at the court and do whatever you have to do."

"Little Star, thank you."

Song Xing Xing patted Xia Yu on her shoulder. "I don't know much about what happened between you and your family. I just hope that you would face everything bravely. Just like your character, Shadow."

Xia Yu laughed when she heard her words.

"Whatever happened, we will always support you," Song Xing Xing continued.

Xia Yu was really thankful for her friends' support. She lowered her gaze and her eyes fell on Song Xing Xing's hand which was resting on her stomach. A thought suddenly came to her mind.

The way Song Xing Xing was caressing her stomach... wasn't that the way a pregnant woman would usually do? Now that Xia Yu get a closer look, she realized that Song Xing Xing's stomach was a little protruding.

Even though Song Xing Xing was hiding it with her clothes, it was not hard for Xia Yu to see. After all, she had worked as a nurse and seen this picture countless times.

"Little Star..." Xia Yu hesitated.

"Hmm?" Song Xing Xing tilted her head to one side as she looked at Xia Yu in puzzlement.

"Are you pregnant?" Xia Yu asked in a whisper.

Her eyes widened. Song Xing Xing's little movement to caress her stomach halted. "How did you know?"

Song Xing Xing did not remember that she had told anyone about this. Other than Lu Xun and Auntie Wei, no one else knew about her condition. After all, they had decided not to tell their parents until they had gone for a check-up at the hospital again.

The couple was planning to surprise their family by showing pictures of the baby scan.

Xia Yu laughed when she heard the question. "Have you forgotten? I used to be a nurse. I've seen pregnant ladies visiting the hospital all the time. I merely guessed after seeing the way you put your hand on your stomach like that."

Song Xing Xing pursed her lips into a thin line and nodded. "Un. But Xia Yu, you can't tell anyone about this."

"Of course. Don't worry. Your secret is safe with me." Xia Yu looked at Song Xing Xing's stomach and asked, "How long have you been pregnant?"

Song Xing Xing's expression turned softer as she looked at her stomach. "Fourteen weeks."

"You have passed the first trimester." Xia Yu looked at her friend in surprise.

"Uh-huh."

Xia Yu stared at the stomach for a few seconds longer and hesitated. "Then, you should have gone to the hospital for a check-up, right? Did the doctor say anything to you?"

Song Xing Xing was quick to notice that there was something wrong with Xia Yu's question and tone. "She said that the baby is healthy. Xia Yu, what's wrong? Do you think there's something wrong with my baby?"

Just the thought alone would make her scared. Song Xing Xing was looking forward to meeting this baby and she did not want anything wrong to happen.

Xia Yu realized that her action had scared her friend. She held Song Xing Xing's hand and patted them softly. "Don't be anxious. There's nothing wrong with it. It was just that... I thought that your stomach is a little bigger for someone who was only fourteen weeks long."

Song Xing Xing frowned, wondering what was Xia Yu trying to say.

"Little Star, I think you might be pregnant with a twin." She smiled. "But this is only my guess and I don't know for sure. Next time when you visit your doctor, you should ask her about it."

Song Xing Xing looked at Xia Yu with a dazed expression.
