You're My Only Star

"Why did you suddenly ask Bei Yuan to send Mr. Fluffball here?" Song Xing Xing asked.

Previously, they have agreed that they will leave Mr. Fluffball at the cat's hotel and come back and pick him up once they returned from their honeymoon.

Lu Xun hugged his wife on the shoulder with one hand and hold the cat's carrier with another hand. "Isn't it because of the wedding? Mr. Fluffball is our family member. I thought that you would want him around."

A warm feeling spread all over her body. Song Xing Xing thought that it was cute that her husband considered Mr. Fluffball as a family member.

Fortunately, Mr. Fluffball will only come to their wedding. Later, when they left for their honeymoon, they will still need to leave Mr. Fluffball to someone to look after him.

A smile curled on her lips but once her gaze fell on the cat's carriage, Song Xing Xing narrowed her eyes again.

She looked at her husband and spoke, "But what are we supposed to do? Mr. Fluffball is not on the guest list."

Lu Xun laughed. "I will tell Miss Yun to add Mr. Fluffball to the guest list. He'll have his special table among our families and friends."

Song Xing Xing narrowed her eyes. "Then who will look after him when at the wedding? Will the hotel allow a pet in?"

"It's fine. I already checked with Yu Han. The hotel will allow Mr. Fluffball into the hall. As long as he behaved and have someone to look after him, there shouldn't be any other problem. I will let Bei Yuan look after him on the wedding day." Lu Xun thought for a moment and continued. "You don't have to worry about a thing. On that day, you only have to wear your dress and marry me."

His eyes turned a shade darker. Lu Xun could not resist kissing his wife on her lips. Fortunately, it was nighttime and everyone in the house had already gone back to their room.

Song Xing Xing's face blushed a little bit. Thinking of their wedding day made her excited and anxious at the same time. Her heartbeat became erratic and it was hard for her to calm down.

Lu Xun chuckled as he looked at his wife. He leaned over and pecked at her lips a few times more. Then, he led her upstairs into their room.

Song Xing Xing entered her bedroom and watched as her husband placed the carrier on the floor. As he opened the carriage's door, Mr. Fluffball peeked his head out and started to look around.

This was the first time that Mr. Fluffball has been in this room and he was anxious at this new surroundings. However, seeing the two familiar humans around him, Mr. Fluffball began to ease up a little bit.

Mr. Fluffball walked around, inspecting everything in the unfamiliar bedroom. Finally, he raised his head again to look at his papa. "Meow."

Lu Xun carried the cat in his arms and started to scratch the cat on its head.

Once he felt his papa's touch, Mr. Fluffball began to relax. It was an exciting day and Mr. Fluffball's emotions have been going up and down. His papa's laps were the best place for him to relax.

Song Xing Xing looked at the cat with a hint of unhappiness. This cat really knew how to act spoiled with her husband.

However, when she recalled how Mr. Fluffball has been anxious to stay around a stranger for the whole day, Song Xing Xing decided to go easy on this fat cat.

As Mr. Fluffball's owner, Song Xing Xing knew best that the cat did not like strangers that much. The cat has been staying inside the house all day and was not used to other people.

However, Mr. Fluffball had accepted Lu Xun the moment he saw him. Thinking back, Song Xing Xing could not help but think that it was a little strange and interesting how the cat had given Lu Xun his approval from the very first day.

At this time, Mr. Fluffball stared at Song Xing Xing and blinked. The arrogant look on the fat cat's face made her feel a little annoyed.

"You brought Mr. Fluffball suddenly. We haven't brought along his stuff." Song Xing Xing looked around and suddenly thought about the cat's sleeping bed and littering box.

"I bought everything this morning." Lu Xun said. "His littering box and sand are in the kitchen. There is also his favorite wet food."

Song Xing Xing chuckled. It seemed that Lu Xun was really attentive towards her cat.

Lu Xun lifted the cat and passed him over to his wife. "Hold him. I'll go and bring his mattress over."

The man left the room quickly. Song Xing Xing lowered her gaze and the human and cat stared at each other.

"Meow." Mr. Fluffball blinked as he looked at his master. His eyes were round and he was shooting a pitiful look at her. The fat cat was trying his best to act cute so that his master would not throw him away.

A while later, Lu Xun entered the door again while carrying a new bed he bought for Mr. Fluffball along with a few things he might need later.

The man went to the balcony and helped to set up Mr. Fluffball's littering box. Then, he prepared some drinking water and food as well.

Mr. Fluffball walked over to his papa and walked around the thing that his papa had prepared for him. The new bed looks comforting and Mr. Fluffball quickly lay on his new bed.

His papa knew him best. This new bed was really to his liking. He closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep as he was too tired.

Seeing that Mr. Fluffball was lying on his new bed, Lu Xun turned to his wife and smiled. "He's all set up. Mr. Fluffball, you will sleep here tonight."

Song Xing Xing raised a brow. "I thought that you were going to let him sleep on the bed with us."

"Of course, not. After all, we have something else to do." Lu Xun chuckled. He walked over to his wife and held her in both hands.

Song Xing Xing stood up from the sofa and followed Lu Xun as he led her to the bed. Lu Xun closed the door behind him gently. Song Xing Xing raised a brow as she wondered what was this man up to.

"Xing Xing." With one, gentle tug, Lu Xun pulled her close to him and pecked her on the lips. "Tomorrow, I will have to stay at the hotel."

It was then that Song Xing Xing remember that the two will have to live separately before their wedding. 

Before she could think much about their brief separation, Lu Xun leaned over to kiss her again.. Her body fell on the soft mattress softly and the air around them heated up.
