Song Xing Xing lowered her head and pretended that she was looking at her phone while she waited for everyone to clear the room.

Once she could no longer hear any noise, she looked up and a smile curled on her lips upon finding that everyone had left.

Lu Xun took a deep breath to calm down. "I'm sorry. I just wanted to surprise you."

Song Xing Xing bit at her lower lips upon noticing the guilt in his expression. "Why are you waiting for me here? Didn't you say that you were going to wait in the office?"

Although Lu Xun always spent his time in his office in NEXT Group headquarters, he had his own office in the studio as well.

"I had a hunch that you would be using the staircase and decided to wait for you here.:" There was a hint of joy in his face. Probably because he had made the right guess.

A gasp escaped her. She felt feverish and the heat made her feel as if she was about to explode anytime soon.

Early in their relationship, his kisses were always soft and lingering. Recently, his kiss would wake up a certain feeling inside her.

He wanted her and she was aware of it.

However, as the kisses grew hotter, Lu Xun had already pulled away.

Song Xing Xing panted to catch up her breath. Her heart grew restless and she was dissatisfied with how the kiss had ended abruptly.

A few minutes has passed but Lu Xun had not returned to the office. Thinking that he was still busy meeting with a few producers to discuss the company matters, Song Xing Xing decided to sit down while waiting for him.

She took out her phone and browsed through her contact list. Her fingers hovered over the screen as she continued to hesitate.

A look of helplessness appeared on her face. Song Xing Xing realized that there was no one that she could discuss the matter that was going on in her mind at this time.
