You're My Only Star

As usual, Lu Xun put on his mask as they walked over to the restaurant. Once they had entered the private room, only then will he take off his mask.

The moment they arrived, there were a group of youngsters queueing outside the restaurant. Those youngsters were the people who had not made any prior reservation and had to queue to enter the place.

The girl's hand was holding colorful balloons in her hand with the words, Happy Birthday as well as the numbers, two and zero.

At one glance, Song Xing Xing was able to guess that the group of youngsters was coming to the restaurant to have their dinner to celebrate the girl's birthday. Seeing the excited look on the youngster's face made her smile

Lu Xun gripped her hands a little tightly when he saw the faint smile on her face. "Xing Xing, I recalled that it would be your birthday in two months."

"Uh-huh." Song Xing Xing turned to her boyfriend and nodded.. The smile on her face widened as she noticed the way Lu Xun was looking at her. Song Xing Xing raised a brow and asked, "What do you have in mind?"

"Hmm..." Lu Xun wrapped his arms around her waist as he hugged her from behind. "I was just thinking... why don't we go out on a trip?"

Hearing that he was planning to take her on a trip, her eyes lit up in excitement. "Where do you plan to go?"

Lu Xun pecked at her lips. "It's a secret. When the time comes, I will let you know."

From his words, it seemed that he had already made his plan on their destination. Suddenly, she was looking forward to their trip together.

That would be their first trip together, right?

The person in front of them was finally ushered into the restaurant. Song Xing Xing and Lu Xun both stepped forward for their turn. At this time, someone from the queue called out her name.

"Xing Xing?"

Her steps halted. Song Xing Xing could not help but feel that this person's voice was a little familiar.

Turning around, Song Xing Xing was surprised upon seeing that the person was no other than her friend from the studio. It was Liu Yu Sheng.

Liu Yu Sheng let go of Ning Yan's hand and walked over to her friend. Then, she shifted her eyes from Song Xing Xing to the person behind her friend. Her expression lit up when she seemed to have guessed at the man's identity. This man should be Song Xing Xing's boyfriend, right?

The two of them were seen hugging each other tightly. There was no way that Liu Yu Sheng was going to believe if Song Xing Xing was not going to admit their relationship.

Liu Yu Sheng nodded as a polite greet to that man. Then, she poked at Song Xing Xing's arms. "Xing Xing, is this your boyfriend?"

Song Xing Xing touched her nose shyly and nodded. "Un."

The smile on her face widened. "But, why do I have this feeling that your boyfriend seemed a little familiar?" The man was wearing a mask and Liu Yu Sheng could not see his face. However, she still thought that this man's eyes seemed a little familiar.

It felt as if she had met this man before.

Song Xin Xing's hands started to sweat. She wondered how she should explain her situation. She turned to Lu Xun and sent him a distress signal through her eyes.

Lu Xun took this opportunity to greet Song Xing Xing's friend. "Hello, you should be Xing Xing's friend. We have booked a private room. If you don't mind, why don't we go together?" He glanced at Ning Yan and smiled. "You can bring along your boyfriend as well."

Her eyes lit up in anticipation. Liu Yu Sheng had wanted to know about her friend's boyfriend and now, she finally had this chance. She was not planning to let go of the man's offer at this time.

After discussing with Ning Yan, the two couples entered the restaurant together and the waiter ushered them to Lu Xun's private room.

The look on her face turned awkward as Liu Yu Sheng entered the private room. It was a big room but Song Xing Xing and her boyfriend were planning to have their meal in such a big room just the two of them.

Her gaze shifted to the man again and Liu Yu Sheng started to wonder about the man's identity. It seemed that he should be someone with a lot of money.

The waiter came briefly to send the menu as well as to pour them some water before he left.

The moment the waiter left, Lu Xun removed the mask on his face slowly.

A loud gasp could be heard coming from Liu Yu Sheng.

Both Liu Yu Sheng and Ning Yan stood up simultaneously. They could not hide their surprise upon realizing the identity of the man in front of them.

This... isn't this is President Lu? Their big boss? Song Xing Xing had admitted that this man is her boyfriend. Then... she is dating their big boss?

Liu Yu Sheng shifted her gaze to her friend again. There were a lot of things that she wanted to say and ask, but Liu Yu Sheng did not have the courage to speak.

"What are you guys standing up for?" Lu Xun chuckled. "Have a seat."

"Yes, President Lu." Both Liu Yu Sheng and Ning Yan answered at the same time. They hesitated for a few seconds before they finally sat down.

Song Xing Xing looked at the scene in front of her and tried to suppress her laughter. She could almost imagine what was going through her colleague's mind when they saw Lu Xun.

"Just order anything that you like," Lu Xun said. "Tonight, it will be my treat."

The smile on both Liu Yu Sheng and Ning Yan's faces turned stiff. They did not know whether this chance encounter could be a blessing or a misfortune.

"The two of you had often looked after my Xing Xing. As her boyfriend, I have to thank you two. You can consider this meal as my way to thank you."
