The next week, Song Xing Xing went over to the address that Producer Ming had sent to her. The new studio was located in a new area. When she arrived, Liu Yu Sheng and a few recruits had arrived. Including Song Xing Xing, there were a total of four people. Producer Ming introduced them to one of the higher-ups before they were taken for a tour around the new studio.

The studio was larger and spacious than they had imagined. Song Xing Xing walked around until they were taken to her future office.

As soon as she stepped in, Song Xing Xing pulled the coat around her body tighter.

A server room was build inside the office, and because of this, the air conditioner had to be switched on all the time at full blast.

Her lips turned to a faint smile as Song Xing Xing imagined working in this cold temperature again. Fortunately, she was used to this working condition. After reminding herself to bring a thick blanket and coat on her first day of working there, Song Xing Xing went out to follow Producer Ming outside.

Someone from HR came and explained to them about the new company.

It seemed that Producer Ming's relationship with his friend is very close. Because of his recommendation, Song Xing Xing and the others did not have to attend any interviews.

After the person from HR had explained what they need to know, Song Xing Xing and the others were immediately given a contract and the confidentiality form to sign. The process took only less than half an hour.

Once everything was done, Producer Ming brought them over to introduce them to the team who will be working on that variety show. Song Xing Xing recognized a few production crew members that she had worked with a while ago and was excited to be working with them again.

Producer Ming explained that a press conference will be held in a few weeks to introduce the celebrities who will be joining the show. Then, after the new year, shooting will begin and the post-production team will be working on the episodes before they were going to release the show.

After they have signed the agreement, Song Xing Xing and a few others decided to have lunch together to celebrate their new job at the new studio.

The group let out a gasp as they were not expecting the actress to join the show.

However, this was the studio's first variety show and it was expected that they wanted to use the actress's popularity to gain viewers.

"I also heard that the singer, Huo Yun Chen will be joining the cast as well," Producer Ming continued. "As for the others, it was still undecided."

Song Xing Xing and Liu Yu Sheng exchanged a look upon hearing that the popular singer will be joining the show as well. The man was previously from an idol group before he left. Then, Huo Yun Chen's popularity soared after he went solo.

Two years ago, it was reported that he was involved in a terrible accident. Since then, the singer had rarely shown up. It was expected that singer Huo Yun Chen was going to use this show as he was planning a comeback stage.

Liu Yu Sheng was a fan of the singer. Naturally, she was happy upon hearing that he was going to join the cast.

"Having lunch with Producer Ming and a few crews."

"Did you land yourself on a new project?"

Song Xing Xing hesitated before she spoke. "The last show we were working on had passed the higher-ups' standard. We're celebrating the end of this project." Her hand tugged at her shirt as she lied.

"Oh." Hearing the explanation, Bai Zhi was suddenly uninterested. "Xing Xing, come over and find me when you're free. I still haven't apologized for what happened during the fashion show."

The two of them spoke briefly and agreed to meet for dinner. Just as she was pushing the door to enter the restaurant, Song Xing Xing saw a familiar figure chatting with Producer Ming.

Her eyes widened and Song Xing Xing hid behind the wall. Her heart pounding as she wondered why was this lunatic from the fashion show talking with Producer Ming. She peeked from the wall and thought that there was something familiar about him.

Song Xing Xing waited outside for five minutes. Once she saw that the man was no longer around, she entered the restaurant and went back to her seat.

"Did you finish your call?" Producer Ming asked.

"Mmm…" Song Xing Xing nodded. She hesitated a few seconds before she asked, "Producer Ming, who was that person earlier? I thought that his face looked a bit familiar."

Producer Ming smiled. "That's our big boss. The President of the NEXT Group, President Lu Xun."

The smile on her face stiffened. It was at this time that Song Xing Xing remembered why that lunatic from that night seemed familiar. He was the person who was rumored to be dating actress Feng Miao Miao. She had seen him on the street once, and saw him on the news!
