You're My Only Star

After working for more than two months, the shooting for Huo Yun Chen's new drama finally ended. On the day final day of the shooting, a loud cheer could be heard coming from the studio. The cheer was too loud that the people in the post-production office could hear them.

Song Xing Xing and her colleagues decided to go out and look at the fun. From the upper floor, they could see the production staff celebrating the completion of the project.

Just then, one of the production staff came upstairs and invited everyone to join in the fun.

Since it was the first drama that the studio had completed, Director An decided to let them be at ease and joined the fun. It would not be right to celebrate without the post-production team.

Song Xing Xing went with the others and congratulated the staff. Now that the production part was done, the project will be passed to the post-production crew before the drama will be aired to the viewers.

As everyone was chatting happily, the Assistant Director stepped forward and asked everyone to keep quiet as Director An wanted to make an announcement.

The noisy room grew quieter and soon, everyone was staring at Director An in anticipation.

"Everyone." Director An paused, making everyone in front of him anxious. "You are all invited to join a dinner to celebrate the completion of this drama. And by everyone, I mean, the post-production team as well."

The staff began to cheer again. Everyone was praising the Director for his graciousness.

Someone asked in a loud voice, "Director, are you going to treat us to dinner?"

Director An started to laugh. "It's not me. It's President Lu. Just now, he called and said that he is inviting everyone to this dinner. Everyone, you can start to vote the place you wanted to go to."

The staff began to cheer again. This time, they were praising President Lu's generosity.

NEXT Bright Studio is President Lu Xun's new project. It hasn't been a year since the company had started. However, everyone was aware that President Lu Xun has been given them a different treatment. 

As compared to other subsidiaries under NEXT Group, the studio seemed as if they had they were receiving a lot of attention. President Lu Xun was kind enough to treat them to dinner at fancy places. At one time, he had also treated the staff to enjoy a few days of vacation near the fishing village.

The staff began to wonder if President Lu Xun had a big expectation towards them. Or else, why would the studio receive special treatment, right?

Even the talent from NEXT Bright Entertainment did not receive this much attention. Even those guys from the headquarters had not received this much attention.

As these thoughts came to their mind, the staff vowed that they would continue to work hard for their big boss.

Of course, everyone was not aware that President Lu Xun had hidden attention. 

Initially, he only wanted to keep his eyes on someone. Then, he continued to pay attention to the studio because he was pursuing his girlfriend. Later, he would make excuses to spend his time at the studio just to be in the same space with his girlfriend.

This was because his girlfriend is very shy and she was not ready to reveal their relationship.

The paparazzi was always interested in Lu Xun's love life ever since he was rumored to date a few celebrities and heiress. Song Xing Xing thought that the attention she would get after everyone learned of this news was a little troublesome.

Lu Xun respected her decision and the two decided to wait until their relationship is more stable.

Anyway, dating in secret was also fun. The sneaking around and trying their best not to get caught was a little exciting. 

As Song Xing Xing heard that their big boss was going to treat them a big meal and would join them later, she immediately guessed that someone wanted to use this guise to date.

When the others are busy discussing the place they wanted to have a meal, Song Xing Xing went to a corner and type a message to her boyfriend. His reply came soon. The moment Song Xing Xing read his reply, her face turned a little red again. 

Lu Xun told her that he missed her.

Although they have been dating for a while, Song Xing Xing was still not used to his teasing and sweet words. Even though she was the one who wanted to pursue him first, now that the two of them were dating, Song Xing Xing could not get used to this feeling.

Even a simple word such as 'I miss you' could make her heart burst with happiness.

Song Xing Xing thought that falling in love with Lu Xun had slowly turned her into a fool.

"Little Star."

Hearing that familiar voice, Song Xing Xing snapped out of her trance and turned around. She had just texted Lu Xun and therefore, the smile on her face was still there, making her look a little radiant.

When Song Xing Xing turned around, Huo Yun Chen was a little stunned to see the look on her face. For a few seconds, he was unable to react.

"Huo Yun Chen? What's wrong?" Song Xing Xing asked when he did not speak for a long time.

Huo Yun Chen snapped out of his trance and let out a dry cough.  "Nothing. I just thought that now that the shooting is completed, we might not get a chance to see each other again."

"What are you saying? We both worked under the same parent company. There will be a chance for us to see each other again. You are going to join the variety show on their next season, right?"

Huo Yun Chen pondered for a while and nodded. "That's true."

"Anyway, we can still see each other in the game."

A faint smile curled on his lips. "After the project ended, let's hang out and have a meal together."

"We'll see." Song Xing Xing said. "I'm sure that you would be busy after this project."

Huo Yun Chen was reminded of his manager as well as the events that the agency had arranged for him. Knowing that he would be busy afterward, Huo Yun Chen let out a sigh in frustration. "That's true."

The two of them chatted a little bit as they might not have the opportunity to meet like this again. 

After a while, Huo Yun Chen shifted his gaze and smiled. "President Lu."

Her hair stood up when she heard the name. Song Xing Xing turned around and saw that Lu Xun was right behind her.. His expression was a little strange.
