You Will Forever Be My Always

Chapter 37 (Riku's P.O.V)

Today was the day of my wedding. I was nervous but also wasn't really feeling it at the same time. I sighed and took a look in the mirror and looked at myself. To be honest, I looked miserable, but I have to act happy and get everyone to believe me. I fixed the wrinkles in my suit and heard the door open.

"Hey Riku, you ready?" Arata said walking in.

"Yeah." I smiled and we both walked out the door.

We both walked outside to where the ceremony was held. Arata and I walked all the way up to the front where we should be standing and saw everyone sitting in there seats waiting patiently. I scanned the crowd and saw Ms. Chinen and Aia. I couldn't believe that she actually came. I felt so happy I couldn't stop smiling. I felt like I was zoning out just be staring at her, until I was brought back to reality by hearing music playing, meaning Sun Hee is about to come out.

"Are you ready?" Arata asked.

"I guess so." I answered and looked and the direction where Sun Hee would be coming through.

Everyone stood up and faced towards the aisle and watched Sun Hee ans her father walked out. She looked pretty I'll admit while her father looked so serious as if he was interrogating someone. They walked a bit slower than usual to cherish this moment forever and before I knew it, Sun Hee's father let go of her hand and she walked up in front of me smiling. I smiled back and the priest started talking.

"Today we gather to wed this young couple and unite their love for one another. If anyone has any objects, speak now or forever hold your peace." The priest said. The room was quiet and no one talked or anything so the priest continued.

"Please get the rings." The priest asked looking at the ring bearer which was Cherry. She was holding a small pillow with both of our rings on it and we both grabbed one and placed it on each other's married finger.

"Let's move on then. Do you Riku Takahashi take Kim Sun Hee to forever love through health and sickness and till death do you part?" He asked looking at me.

"I do." I said with a calm voice.

"And do you Kim Sun Hee take Riku Takahashi to forever love through health and sickness and till death do you part?" He asked looking at her.

"I do." She smiled.

"You may now kiss the bride." He smiled.

I kissed her and we heard cheering and clapping and as we looked mostly everyone was standing up and cheering for us. We both smiled and waved and we all moved into the ballroom for the dances and party. People were coming up to us and congratulating us on our marriage. We smiled and waved and said thank you to each and every one of them.

"How does it feel to be married bro?" Arata asked walking over to us.

"Great." I smiled and Sun Hee tightened her grip on my arm.

"Excuse me, but please clear the floor for the traditional father daughter dance." Someone announced on stage. We all moved and Sun Hee amd her father were dancing on the dance floor while Arata and I went somewhere more private to talk.

"Have you talked to Aia?" I asked.

"Yeah I did actually." He said.

"How is she?" I asked.

"She's actually happy for you guys Riku." He smiled.

"Do you know where she is?" I asked.

"Riku...she left after the ceremony was over." Arata said looking down.

"What?! Why?" I asked.

"I don't know, she didn't tell me. All she said was to give this to you." He said handing me a letter amd left. It was an envelope which was sealed with that fancy liquid solid thing you stamp before it dries to close the envelope. I opened up the letter and started reading it.

Dear Riku,

By the time you get this, I'll be gone and out of the way and area and I hope this letter gets to you and I hope you know that I will always be here for you. I just wanted to say Congratulations to you and Sun Hee on your marriage! I truly hope that you will live a good healthy life for the rest of your days. I hope you never miss an opportunity that comes your way. I'm really happy for you!!

I'm sorry I couldn't bring myself and gather the courage to come say goodbye to you but everything in this letter will tell you. I'm also sorry for not staying for the party and having a good time with you and Arata them. But what I wanted to say was that eleven though your married now, I still love you. I've always loved you ever since I met you. You are my best friend and will forever be my best friend. I'm sorry to say goodbye like this but this was the only way I can say it to you.

I love you Riku Takahashi and that will never change. I just hope that with you knowing how I feel can finally bring you out of the darkness and into the light again. I want you to smile and never be sad even though you may not be with the one you love but you are still alive and living the life you want and the way you want. I will always be watching over you and I wish you all the happiness in the world and Riku....You will forever be my always♡.

Love,

Aia Suzuki.

After I read the letter I looked out the window and stared at the moon. She loved me all this time even when I was rude and cold to her from the beginning. I felt tears rolling down my eyes and I couldn't help but feel weak and cry. She's gone. She's gone forever and I'll never see her again. but I know that she's somewhere put there waiting for me to find her. I looked up and felt my tears dry on my cheeks and thought about her even though it's my wedding night.
