YOU ME ...DESTINY

CADENCE P.O.V

Just as what I said before I left from the office, I cooked meal for Jaron in the mini kitchen. Donna was keeping on calling me why I did not answer my phone. I lied to her that I did some errands outside and I did not hear my phone ringing.

As I arrived home, my kids were running towards me as I entered the door. Cady was excitedly giving me something. 

"What is that?" I asked as I kneeled down level to her. She gave me card and I opened it. It was an invitation for birthday party. I flipped it open it came from Clarisse Reynolds's daughter Mitch. My kids are inviting to her birthday tomorrow.

"Mommy, we want to go. We want to go." Cady said jumping for joy. 

"Behave, Cady or else Mommy will never say yes." Jaxon said 

I smiled at them. Jaxon was sort of serious attitude just like me while Cady got it from Jaron free spirited girl. 

"Yehey, I know Mommy will say yes big brother." She said and gave her brother a hug too.

We arrived at the birthday party just in time it started. You can really see that the parents of the celebrant is well off. Who would have thought that the mother was just so simple? You would not see her wearing accessories, well, I can see she have jewelries in her but not so obvious. Looking around their surrounding you could not believe that they live here. Everything you see in your eyes was wow. 

It held outside their house where there are chairs and table for adults and separated with the kids too. We walked closer to the birthday girl and Clarisse was smiling happily, as she sees us.

"Thank God, you came. I thought you would not come since it was kind of last minute I gave the invitation to the kids. So sorry." she apologized.

"No, it's okay. Cady was so excited to hand it to me and she keeps on bugging me to come." I said.

"Well, good to hear that you know that I am fond of your kids and my kids loves hanging with them in school." She proudly said.

"Yes, our nanny told me that Jaxon said that she should fetch them a little late because they want to have some time with your kids. I am glad they make friends and I know they will grow up more closer than we thought in the future." I said.

"That definitely sure." She agreed. "Come, the party is about to begin."
