When the Bai family head had made this remark, Bai Yao was also curious as he looked towards Lu Feng. The two wanted to know what Lu Feng was planning to do next, Fang Long too, was patiently waiting. When Lu Feng saw everyone staring at him, he strangely smiled, “We don’t need that many shops, we can just integrate the shops into only five shops. Since Qinglong town is so small, we wouldn’t need as many stores to sell spirit fruits and spirit plants.”

When they heard this, everyone felt it was reasonable. The Bai family head understood but he asked, “If it’s like this then we will have to completely remodel our stores. Then we don’t need to spend so much on expenses since we can dismiss the people working for us.” Lu Feng continued, “Head, I’m only talking about not needing so many stores for Qinglong town.”

Everyone was puzzled over what Lu Feng had said, the Bai family head doubtfully asked, “What do you mean?” Lu Feng smiled,”Qinglong town is only a small town. I’m planning to open up in the five big cities, of course it will need to take a while before that happens. As for now, head can you please give me the address of the stores. As well as giving me some guards, I will go and rectify the shops. Right, I will also need to bring Housekeeper Liu along. He is the one who calculates the expenses so he should come along too.”

When they heard Lu Feng’s ambitious plans they were stupefied, Fang Long frowned as he inquired, “Young master, our Bai family had once tried to open up a shop within the five cities but it has never turned out well.” Lu Feng felt like laughing when he heard this, “Let me tell you something, Shopkeeper Fang, last time you all sold those common goods then of course there would be no profit. If you guys were to follow me, I would let you be able to strut around the city.”

When everyone heard Lu Feng’s remark, their blood was boiling from excitement. The Bai family head exclaimed, “Alright, I’ll tell Housekeeper Liu to follow you.” Lu Feng made an En sound in agreement, They were about to leave the study when they could suddenly see Housekeeper Liu walking behind Elder Su.

When they saw Elder Su appear, they were confused. In everyone’s eyes, Elder Su was someone who was instigating the opposition among the shopkeepers, surprisingly he hadn’t left. Lu Feng then smiled as he said, “Why, isn’t it Elder Su?”

Elder Su thought Lu Feng was a real eyesore, but he endured and replied, “Greetings, Young Master, Head, Son-in-law.” When Lu Feng saw Elder Su’s complete change in attitude towards him he knew something was up, so he smiled and replied, “Elder Su, the shopkeepers have already left. Are you intending to leave too?”

Elder Su felt like he was being unfairly treated, “These people were incessantly giving me a headache. Since they are gone it would be so much better, besides the rules that Son-in-law made will be what I support.”

Hearing this, the people present were shocked. While Lu Feng cursed in his mind, “This sly fox is still trying to pretend.” However, Lu Feng did not say this but instead he laughed and said, “Since Elder Su has said this, then you should stay with these five.”

Elder Su nodded his head, “Of course.” Lu Feng made an En sound before saying, “Fine, from today onwards, you will obey orders from Fang Long. Next time, whatever I want to tell you and the shopkeepers, he will relay it.”

Elder Su paused when he heard that and said “This isn’t good.” Lu Feng, smiled and asked “How is it not?” Elder Su hesitated, then said “Last time, those people were all managed by me. Now that you let Fang Long manage, what if…”

The Bai family head and the rest felt something was abit off, after all Elder Su was the one who had the most experience. Housekeeper Liu was the family’s housekeeper for the longest. In simple terms, Fang Long was technically their boss. Everyone was thinking it could not happen.

Lu Feng then said “If you’re staying with us, not only will you need to follow the four rules we have, but also Manager Fang’s orders. If not, you can leave now.” Usually, Elder Su would have already lashed out at Lu Feng for saying that, but given the situation, he sat there obediently. After a long while, he then reluctantly said “Okay.”

The Bai family head and the rest were all puzzled, not only them but even Lu Feng was confused. But he still put up a front and laughed, “En, now you can go back and rest. Just wait for me to call you.”

“What do you want to do now?” Elder Su questioned.  “Oh, I just have a few other things that I want to talk to them about.” Lu Feng replied casually. Elder Su sighed and didn’t dare to ask any further. Fearing that Lu Feng might get suspicious of him, he left the room without saying anything else.

Fang Long said in his surprise, “Young Master, why did you not let him follow us.” Lu Feng turned towards him and chuckled, “You should know Elder Su’s character.” Everyone nodded their heads in unison, while Lu Feng continued, “So, Head, what do you think about Elder Su’s change in attitude. Do you think there might be something going on?”

The Bai family head suspiciously replied, “What do you mean by that?” Lu Feng laughed, “What do you think his motive is by staying. I don’t know what he could be up to, so everyone should be more cautious about his whereabouts. If there is something suspicious immediately inform me.”

“Yes.”

Lu Feng then smiled at Housekeeper Liu as he said, “Housekeeper Liu, come and follow us to the stores.” Housekeeper Liu hesitated as he looked towards the Bai family head. The Bai family head looked at Housekeeper Liu and said, “Go then, listen to Lu Feng. Whatever he asks you to do, you must follow.”

Housekeeper Liu agreed, and followed Fang Long and the rest. The Bai Family head watched them go into deep thought. Bai Yao saw that and laughed “Father, what seems to be bothering you?”

The Bai family head could not help but ask, “Yao’er, don’t you think Lu Feng is like a teenager who’s around fifteen or sixteen?” Bai Yao was dazed as he smiled, “His physical appearance looks like one, but he gives off an impression like he is very experienced.”

The Bai Family head then said “That’s right. If I didn’t see his age, I would’ve thought that he was an old man.” Bai Yao laughed and said “Father, don’t you think you’re exaggerating?” “Not at all, it’s just that I think Lu Feng isn’t a simple man. The fact that he can take charge of so many people, and get them to be obedient, makes it all the more impressive.” the Head replied.

Bai Yao was humbled, “Oi, our age difference isn’t far apart how can he be so formidable.” The Bai family head bitterly smiled, “Who told you to not study properly, all you know how to do is play around.”

“Dad you are teasing me again.”

“Fine, I won’t joke with you then. Let’s go and eat breakfast.”

“En.”

In front of the Bai family was a small alleyway, Lu Feng looked at Housekeeper Liu with a strange smile, “Housekeeper Liu, before we go I need to ask you about something.” Housekeeper Liu had a scary premonition before respectfully replying, “Young Master, please speak.”

“It’s about your poison.” Lu Feng chuckled. When Housekeeper Liu heard that, he felt anger rising through him. That day at the wedding, he thought that he was really poisoned, but after a day nothing had happened. And so, he formed some kind of grudge against Lu Feng, but fought down the urge to show it.

When Lu Feng saw this he evilly smiled, “What? Are you very angry?” Housekeeper Liu lowered his head and meekly replied, “N..o.” Lu Feng cooly laughed, “Just say it, that one from the Xia family. How much money she gave you.”

Housekeeper Liu was astonished and quickly knelt down, “Young Master, I, I didn’t receive any.” Lu Feng looked at Housekeeper Liu’s timid figure before smiling, “Don’t worry, I’m just asking. Just tell me, there won’t be any consequences.”

Housekeeper Liu gave a terrified look at Lu Feng ,while Fang Long and the others were curious what this housekeeper had to do with the Xia family.
