I shut my eyes to the midday sun

As I wonder what, is yet to come.

This world, as of yet, it still confounds

me.

I feel the breeze brushed my cheeks,

Kissed my face, singing me a song,

Blowing me okay.

You barely noticed me

As you flew away to the clouds,

Danced like a phoenix, whisking

My skin as you passed by.

And so on,

you whispered on my ears,

Carrying me a soft lullabies,

Drifting me into a deep slumber,

As you guide me on my sleep.

I love the way every part of you,

Clinging on your touch,

Embrace your hugs,

Tinkling on my skin,

Feeling safe within your arms,

Holding me tight with its hold,

As you started to carry me away,

Away from them, Away from reality

A perfect escape,

Leaving the things behind,

Bringing me on your travels, everyday.

Day and Night, as I'm lost on your arms.
