He was in casual wear, a pair of T-shirt and jeans to be precise. This was a sign that the young man had already planned to skip school from the beginning, but if that was the case, what was he doing at the school gate after school hours?

It only made sense to assume that he was there for Jun Yang but that did not really answer the question in Jun Yang's mind, which was 'is he here to gloat about or apologize for what he has done?'.

To Jun Yang's surprise, Feng Qi did neither. The latter only walked forward to say, "Hey, boyfriend, Miss M has just given me a break from work so I thought to come find you and see if we can spend some time together. But if you have something lined up for the afternoon, I can still walk you home."

There was a casualness in Feng Qi that caught Jun Yang off guard, how could the man be so insouciant about what he had done? Was he really that dense? Or did he really think Jun Yang would not mind it?

A mixture of disappointment and regret curled around Jun Yang's heart and it manifested itself as sharp accusation, "How could you act like nothing has ever happened after what you've done?! Are you that selfish that you don't realize the gravity of your action?" Jun Yang stared daggers at Feng Qi.

Feng Qi was baffled by the sudden aggression, he looked at Jun Yang like the latter had somehow lost his mind. "Jun Yang, what are you talking about?"

"Stop acting dumb, you know what you did." Then Jun Yang decided the conversation was over. The young man turned away from Feng Qi and was ready to walk off.

However, communication was a two-way street and Feng Qi was definitely not ready for Jun Yang to leave. He ran to the other side and stood before Jun Yang to block his way. By then, the bafflement on his face had turned into alarm and concern. His brows were squished together as he demanded in a louder but not aggressive voice, "Jun Yang, I cannot afford to have you be mad at me for no reason. There is no way I am going to let you leave without you explaining to me what is going on!"

Jun Yang was in no mood to entertain Feng Qi. He ignored the young man and tried to walk around him. Feng Qi was faster and larger than Jun Yang and every time the latter moved, the former would adjust his posture and position to prevent Jun Yang from escaping.

Jun Yang was not that angry initially but what Feng Qi did continued to rile him up. Refusing to let him leave, refusing to admit the truth, forcing him to talk when it was quite obvious that he was not in a communicative mood, all these made Jun Yang feel pressed.

Since the way forward was blocked, Jun Yang decided to take the way back. The young man turned and before Feng Qi could stop him, he raced up the stairs and back into the school compound.

"F*ck," Feng Qi cursed under his breath. He yelled as he ran to catch up to Jun Yang, "Be careful up the stairs! But why won't you talk to me?! There is no way you're getting away without giving me an explanation!"

The wind carried his voice forward because as he raced after Jun Yang, Feng Qi could hear the reply from the young man, "How could you release those pictures? Have you not considered my feeling?"

'Pictures?' Feng Qi was confused as he repeated the term in his mind, 'What pictures?' Then, his heart was gripped by a predilection like something bad had happened.

Feng Qi was about to argue for his innocence and ask for more clarification when he lifted his head and realized Jun Yang had disappeared from his sight.

It was obvious that between Jun Yang, the model student and Feng Qi, the class truant, which one had spent more time at Xing Ming Academy. Jun Yang knew the school like the back of his hand, travelling through it daily, assisting his schoolmates, moving from class to class and liaising with the teachers. He was familiar with the school's layout and that was why he was able to slip away from Feng Qi at unsuspecting corners.

Unfortunately, luck was not on the young man's side that day. Feng Qi only needed to turn a corner to notice Jun Yang's fleeing shadow and the chase began anew.

While Jun Yang had the home field advantage, Feng Qi had the advantage in terms of physique and stamina. Even though Jun Yang could not be classified as overly thin or fat, in fact, the young man actually had some muscles on him from the training his parents registered him in, he was still lacking physically compared to Feng Qi.

Feng Qi's frame was wiry and taut. His muscles had the staying power, so as long as he was able to keep Jun Yang within his sight, it was only a matter of time until he caught to his target.

Jun Yang raced to the quieter parts of the school, the education block, away from the teacher's lounge where the teachers were probably still around. He jumped up the stairs 2 steps at a time. He reached the middle landing and was about to keep on climbing, when he felt a pull on his elbow and before he knew what was happening, a force pushed him from behind and he was squeezed against the wall.

Jun Yang tried to escape but the man grabbed his hands and used his body to lock him in place. In spite of everything, there was a curious thought that crossed Jun Yang's mind at that moment, 'Why does this feel so familiar?'
