On the one hand, Jun Yang was appreciative of the consideration shown by the lady but knowing that she had seen them inadvertently made Jun Yang feel rather embarrassed.

To make matters worse, Feng Qi seemed hell bent on making his suffering grow even bigger. Jun Yang begged him to stop acting like a child but it fell on deaf ears. The young man kept his mouth open wide, waiting for Jun Yang to feed him.

Jun Yang had no other option but to abide by the young man's demand. He cut a corner from his cake and covered it with a generous amount of the honey meringue that Feng Qi made on the spot.

He then jabbed the spoon into Feng Qi's open mouth. With how fast and brutal he acted, one would think Jun Yang was trying to poke a hole through the roof of Feng Qi's mouth.

Feng Qi though knew this was a manifestation of Jun Yang's flustered heart. As his lips clamped over the Jun Yang's spoon, the young man was suddenly struck by a wicked idea.

In a mere second after Feng Qi's lips closed over the spoon, Jun Yang wanted to pull the spoon out and got this embarrassing interaction over with. If he was caught by any of his classmate, feeding Feng Qi so intimately at a café, what would they think?! Furthermore, Feng Qi has his own hands and feet, so why must he insist that he feeds him like a baby?!

Jun Yang was mad for a brief second and one could have guessed easily that the anger came from pure embarrassment. Unfortunately for Jun Yang, Feng Qi was not done with him yet.

Jun Yang was pulling the spoon out of Feng Qi's lips when he realized the spoon was stuck. He gripped the spoon tighter and pulled harder but the metal utensil refused to budge. Instantly, Jun Yang knew Feng Qi was toying with him, the latter used his teeth to clamp on the spoon.

Feng Qi held the spoon tightly in his mouth with his teeth.

"Let go, will you stop being so childish?" Jun Yang demanded with his voice rising for one pitch. The whole scene was quite funny-looking. Jun Yang appeared to be in the middle of an argument with Feng Qi while holding the end of the spoon which was caught in Feng Qi's mouth. In return, the latter looked at Jun Yang with amusement and delight in his eyes.

'Such a cute little couple,' thought Miss M who had been silently watching them. She smiled to herself and wandered off to clean the table that was vacated by the group of customers who had just left.

Feng Qi defused the situation by saying, "Jun Yang, I'm sorry. I did not know what happened earlier. My brain simply lost control over my body all of a sudden. My body instinct took over and I can tell you honestly, it simply refused to let go of this precious connection to you.

"So, can you really blame me? You're simply too irresistible."

Hiding under the cover of the shadow of his face was a smile that Jun Yang swore to hide away from Feng Qi. If the young man knew the effect his words had on Jun Yang, the latter would never hear the end of it.

Jun Yang arranged his expression and he turned to face Feng Qi with a stern face. "There you go talking nonsense again."

"I'm not talking nonsense. Nothing related to you is nonsense in my eyes." Feng Qi powered on shamelessly. He made an exaggerated sound of tasting the cake and then commented brightly, "Yes, the cake is sweet enough even with the brown sugar. I'll have to tell Miss M that her recipe is a runaway success… But ultimately the sweetness of the dessert is not as sweet as my boyfriend."

"Stop joking, no one promised to be your boyfriend," Jun Yang grumbled weakly but it was clear that he was not as angry as before… not that he was really angry to begin with.

Feng Qi grabbed his chest like he was injured by Jun Yang's words which had transformed into virtual weapon. Jun Yang ignored the young man's childish behavior. He coughed and tried to pull the meeting back to its original purpose. He finished the slice of cake, put the plate away, took a sip of tea and picked up the pen that Feng Qi dropped on the table earlier and used it to tap at the unfinished assignment. "Come now, break time's over. The assignment is not going to write itself. I remember you're still in the middle of your paragraph when you stopped."

Feng Qi groaned like he had just been delivered the worst news in the world. Jun Yang ignored the man's theatrics and arranged the pen and paper neatly before the man.

The boys eventually finished the assignment given by Mr. Sam at the Mist Café with much goading and persuasion from Jun Yang. Jun Yang felt like he had exhausted a lot more energy trying to persuade Feng Qi to write than if he would have just finished the assignment on his own.
