White Lotus Enlightenment in the Ancient World

Chapter 154 Ksitigarbha’s teachings

Sitting on the spiritual mountain, Jie Yin heard Ksitigarbha's great wish and felt a little emotional in his heart, but his face remained calm and natural. Now his cultivation as a saint has become more and more complete.

Zhunti on the side was extremely happy. Although Ksitigarbha was now somewhat alienated from Western religion, it could not change the fact that he was the son of his senior brother.

In this way, there are also members of my Western Sect in the underworld.

"From now on Ksitigarbha will be my great disciple of the Western Sect, with the same title as deputy sect leader!"

With a wave of his hand, Zhunti directly promoted the little novice monk to the chief position. Maitreya, who was sitting next to him, was shocked to hear this and his eyes were complicated. After working with him for a long time, it was not as useful as Ksitigarbha's oath.

The other disciples were not jealous at all. They were just surprised by Ksitigarbha's cultivation speed. They remembered that he had not yet become an immortal when he left the West, but now he is about to be promoted to a quasi-sage!

For a moment I couldn’t help feeling that he was so lucky!

Although this deputy leader was just a formality and Ksitigarbha would not really return to the West to work, Zhunti still asked Da Shizhi to go to the Netherworld and give him the golden book of appointment to express his longing for him.

Da Shizhi respectfully agreed and drove directly to Dongsheng Shenzhou in the clouds.

At this time, Ksitigarbha, who had great aspirations in hell, was once again promoted in cultivation, and he was only a little short of reaching the realm of quasi-sage.

From now on, he will have to guard the hell to transform evil spirits, and it will be difficult for him to travel back to the wilderness, so Chang Yi gave him a Magic Moon Orb, which can be used to view the world.

In addition to the orb, Chang Yi also took out a nine-ring Zen staff from the jade lock. The staff was nine feet high and had nine curves and nine rings. A red lotus burned slowly in the middle, contrasting with the karma fire in Abi.

This treasure was specially refined by Chang Yi for Ksitigarbha, and it is an acquired high-grade spiritual treasure.

It incorporates the original aura of the Red Lotus of Karma and the origin of spiritual treasures collected in chaos. As soon as it appears, it emits a magnificent golden light, reflecting the gloomy hell into the bliss of the West.

Chang Yi knew that the legendary Ksitigarbha held a nine-ring tin staff, but now that Ksitigarbha was practicing with him, the two stingy leaders might not give him that treasure again.

But Chang Yi is not surprised either. His weapon refining methods are much better than theirs.

This tin staff has the power to subjugate demons and is extremely lethal to anyone with evil intentions.

The red lotus origin on it has been trained to the ninth level by Chang Yi Sacrifice, which can trigger the red lotus karma fire to burn the karma of all living beings, allowing them to directly experience the sinking of Abi Hell.

Even a casual blow can make Da Luo dizzy!

Shura, who had been standing by the side, couldn't help but be frightened when he saw this treasure. They felt a great threat from it!

And Ksitigarbha did not pretend to be polite. He did not dare to refuse the gift. After receiving it respectfully, he held it in his hand and rarely put it away in the future.

"There is no need to suffer from the suffering of the body in order to transform the soul that has suffered. This place is vast and empty, so why not build a Buddhist temple in it?"

As Chang Yi waved his jade hand, time passed in an instant, and a Buddhist hall with the charm of Taiyin appeared in the black mountain karma.

The two gods were chatting and laughing in Abi Hell and slowly entered the hall.

The first place in the hall is naturally the statue of Ksitigarbha, which was shaped by Chang Yi himself. Ksitigarbha can directly integrate a trace of his soul to monitor the various scenes in hell, so there is no need to travel hard.

After arranging all the usual rituals without adding any unnecessary extravagance, he quietly retreated to the futon in the back hall and watched Ksitigarbha's first sermon in hell.

Although Lao Tzu has not yet transformed Hu into a Buddha, Ksitigarbha has been taught by Chang Yi to be a "Buddhist" and has a very profound understanding of Buddhism.

As the mysterious scriptures came from Ksitigarbha's mouth, the souls burned by the fire of karma finally regained their consciousness, and suddenly the pain all over their bodies weakened a little.

But even this slight relief made them ecstatic, and they all crawled towards the main hall regardless of the entanglement of karma.

The Shuras also felt physically and mentally relaxed after listening to the sound of the Tao, but they knew their responsibilities and did not indulge in it.

The leading female Rakshasa "Kinnara" spontaneously sorted out everything in Abi and ordered her people to keep those evil spirits out of the hall so as not to disturb the god.

The ugly fish with heavy karma was also released by the dream carp. At this moment, it imitated the appearance of the dream carp and turned into a small koi carp, wandering devoutly in the palm of the Bodhisattva.

It has been eating people since it was born, never knowing that this is extremely evil, let alone its own ugliness.

Now that it has been enlightened, it wants to learn from appearance and does not want to embarrass its teacher.

Of course, it recognizes the name of this teacher by itself, and whether it can repay it as it wishes in the future depends on its own destiny.

In order to let it change its mind, Ksitigarbha personally changed its name to Wu Nian, hoping that it would abandon the evil thoughts in its heart and practice hard in hell.

The gentle sound of chanting sutras came from the hall, and the busy Kinnara fell into a rare state of physical and mental calm. The karma that had been entangled in her soul began to slowly dissipate.

And now when I think about those rebellious thoughts, I just feel ugly and disgusting, and I don't want to think about them any more.

At this time, the souls approaching the main hall were blocked by Shura. They wailed and begged Shura, hoping to meet the venerable for relief.

It's a pity that the Shura were not merciful, and those who acted recklessly were immediately thrown away. Even the blood sea creatures like them felt that these evil spirits were ugly.

Seeing that Shura was merciless, the souls had no choice but to kneel outside the temple and confess their sins constantly.

But how can they sincerely repent? It's just to relieve the pain. If there is a chance, I am afraid that I will immediately seize Ksitigarbha's body and let myself become a Buddha.

Of course Ksitigarbha, who was overlooking Abi, knew how dirty they were, but he didn't expect to transform the evil spirits in one go. This would be an extremely long process, and even he himself didn't know if he could succeed.

The sound of chanting sutras is quiet and distant. Although the sound is not loud, it still floats farther away.

As time went by, the souls in hell heard the sound of chanting, and some who had done nothing but committed crimes actually shed tears when they heard the sound, and they calmly accepted the punishment they deserved.

The ghost guards couldn't help but marvel. They were truly disciples of the Holy Lord, and could actually make these stubborn evildoers change their ways!

The sound of chanting did not stop there, it continued to float outside the ghost gate and in front of Mount Tai Gate.

The ghosts and ghosts who came and went were moved by the scriptures one after another, and some spirits actually broke through the realm directly!

"Is this the Venerable Ksitigarbha teaching the Dharma?"

The ghost cow sitting in the treasure pavilion showed admiration. It seems that Netherworld has another powerful person sitting in the formation!

The snake charm on the side was a little confused.

"How could Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva not see the Holy Master after he entered hell?"

"You idiot, I definitely don't want to disturb me because I haven't shown up yet, so don't go and disturb me!"

Snake Charming rolled her eyes at Gui Niu, did she think she was a three-year-old naughty boy?

While the two were chatting, another powerful man came outside the ghost gate. It was the Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva.

It was also his first time to come to the underworld. Although he knew that the underworld was forbidden to enter without permission, he had no worries because of the sage's instructions.

In order to avoid trouble, he directly concealed himself and came to the gate of hell, and then a spiritual thought came out to contact Ksitigarbha.

The two of them had little contact when they were in the West, but now they are sending greetings like strangers.

The sound of such chanting quietly stopped, and the souls who had recovered their consciousness looked reluctantly into the depths of hell, hoping that the Bodhisattva could continue to teach the Dharma.

It's a pity that the mysterious voice no longer comes out, and the souls who come late stamp their feet and beat their chests, not knowing when the next Dharma lecture will be.
