[Estiya’s POV]

“Mom, isn’t Daddy going?”

Ether grumbled that the dress was uncomfortable.

“Father went to the western border.”

“That’s strange. I thought my mom said she organized it.”

I felt the same way as Eyla.

“This year is really weird. Right? I think someone keeps releasing monsters on the western border.”

Ether said it without thinking. But when she finished, we all froze. we looked at each other Kaylan was the first to loosen his hard face.

“Don’t tell me, that’s what’s going to happen.”

He smiled awkwardly, but no one responded. I got into the carriage, thinking I’d come back from the banquet and check it out. Ether and Eyla didn’t ride a horse today either.

“I’ll take care of you, ladies.”

Kaylan bent over playfully and I managed to stop Eyla and Ether, who were about to throw the stars*. The carriage wheels rolled as the horse moved.

I remembered the contents of the novel. At the first banquet held at Rodrigo’s house, Anheine and Rodrigo’s official declaration of love was made. Rodrigo expressed affection in front of people without hesitation. Anheine was shy but enjoyed it.

I wonder what will happen today. I wonder if Anheine will come.

I fiddled with the hem of my dress.

“Are you nervous?”

Ether asked.

“What do you mean nervous?”

I laughed and refuted her remarks.

“Yeah, you don’t have to be nervous. If anything happens, older sisters and older brother take care of everything.”

“What happened?”

I asked with my eyes wide open.

“You shouldn’t think that we’re the only enemies of Rodrigo.”

Ether said seriously. I didn’t understand what the words meant, but I soon found out.

Boom. 

It’s a bomb. To get to Rodrigo’s banquet hall, you have to cross a small river, but the bridge is blown up. The carriage stopped abruptly and my body staggered. Soon the carriage door opened. Kaylan said without hiding his annoyed expression.

“They’re crazy people.”

Talking about the explosion of a bridge. Our family does more than that. More than that, who wants to disrupt Rodrigo’s banquet? It is also a banquet held to celebrate the victory.

“I don’t know if we can make it on time.”

Kaylan summoned Poch. Perhaps Poch had been contacted in advance and waited for him, but he showed up right away.

“Get a boat. We have to cross the river.”

The idea of going back the other way didn’t seem to exist in the first place. I also thought that my stomach would get better. It could not be guaranteed that only this bridge was blown up.

I muttered gloomily. Ether and Ayla looked back at me in amazement. I immediately smiled broadly.

“They’re pretty good at exploding.”

“What’s good about this? I can blow it up better! With good timing!”

The simple Ether thought it was a real compliment and was furious.

“Of course, the older sisters will do much better. But these people have a lot of courage. The bomb was set up on Cartina’s way.”

I made the bomb planter my enemy. Eyla’s eyes flared up.

“Banquet, can I be a little late?”

Eyla asked me for my understanding, but I shook my head.

“I don’t think many people will arrive on time.”

We should go too.

Eyla didn’t say anything more as if she agreed. Soon after, a boat came and a new carriage was ready when they crossed the river. My tongue stuck out at Kaylan’s readiness.

“Brother, you are amazing.”

I spoke frankly. Kaylan blushed and cleared his throat. It seems like he’s unfamiliar with my compliments, but I’ll have to do it more often from now on.

Rather, who is at the banquet hall? How many people will avoid this huge pre-event?

I became very curious.
