When I growup

Chapter 9:you will be my first and only wife!

In this new life, I had a high self esteem.

I felt that my mother and two fathers had contributed well in crafting--creating such a perfect daughter. There is no way I will be burdened for being 'exotic'.

Instead, I Jah Di'ordi will simply ignore those words spoken to me out of ignorance and simply act normal.

Now I have no idea why, but my facial features though perfect, the emotional display: joy, anger, fear, sadness...it seems my face is carved from stone and even when I smile, though it transforms brilliantly this is only seen at home.

Especially with the agreement that I must not smile in public between my elder siblings.

Entering through a guarded door I looked around the large room where people spoke and drank alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages held in their hand.

I had barely taken three steps before I was blocked off by a group of little girls, (she's ten, but her mind is still in the past smh, you are a little girl to miss thing!) I have never been one to judge a book by the cover but peek at the synopsis ignoring the comments so I can actually have my own opinion you know.

I had on many occasions when I did take a look at the facial features of those who found themselves blocking my path wishing to either: demand, question or try to assist me in some albeit unwanted way.

Now I felt that I had all the time in the world, let me try and be pleasan-

"I had no idea that the servants would be allowed to dress up at such a prestigious event," the girl stood taller than my slightly smaller stature, her form was slim, the dress she wore was beautiful, silky strands were styled in a simple roll giving her a slightly more mature look along with the light application of makeup.

She is what? Twelve-thirteen? This little girl and those four behind her are wearing makeup as well, hmmm come to think of it, that pet of mine had applied some makeup as well but I thought I am a bit on the young side and my skin is already flawless so there is no need to bother.

Anyway, the issue here is that this girl just implied that I am a servant, I Jah Di'ordi, a servant? Maybe they should call my older siblings servants.

Those seven would go out their way to pamper me without any hesitation.

Sigh, should I answer though? I am after all an elder, it would be a bit lowly of me to stoop to the level of children especially a genius like me.

"Open your dog eyes before you flap those lips of yours and see who you are calling a servant! Someone who is wearing a handmade dress and hairpins that probably cost more than you houses combined, look at those shoes! Look! See those? They are handcrafted, the leather is from a rare animal that is hard to hunt and the tailor is talented look at the style! The way how everything is seamlessly made. Tch! look at your…"

My face twitched, those poor girls looked offended when the fourteen-year-old boy appeared.

On a normal day, he would be quiet; simply silently offering me food before disappearing.

He had first said that a goddess should be given an offering each day.

His gaze had been creepy in my eyes, a ten-year-old boy double the height of a poor six-year-old girl had appeared and offered food.

I could not help but think of the phrase: 'stranger danger,' he had ran away but for the next four years he had sent food with small notes.

I felt like I am a male being courted by a maiden who personally made food for me.

This reminded me of my past life and my-

"Goddess, allow me to walk you in, my parents will be here soon, I can introduce you to them. Even if you really are a servant I don't care! You will be my first and only wife, even if your background is weak…"

"They say that the first young master Tu is like a block of ten-thousand-year-old ice, cold aloof, unwilling to give any female a chance except his mother. Even those from the ranked families could never get close enough to inhale his scent,"

"It seems he had fallen for a servant girl,"

"Ay, poor second miss Duer, her heart will break when she notices that the boy she loved for so long had been snatched by a servant!"

"It is only something fickle don't bother with this, do you think that first young master Tu would really like a servant or a girl like that? Look at their...look how they clash,"

"En, she does clash with him, though her skin is dewy with a smooth sheen contrasting perfectly with the blue--hey! I have heard of a blue-headed girl with skin like hers before-"

"Why are you thinking of a servant?"

"I'm not! I'm telling.."

Sigh, this is bothersome, I should have followed that servant pet inside.

I really wish to sleep.

Stifling a yawn I continued further into the room ignoring the whispers and looks I received.

The room itself looked to be a ballroom with a massive crystal chandelier above illuminating the room, like most British themes the walls were painted beautifully but instead of those cherubs it had fields similar to earth or rather now known fifty thousand years after it's destruction, old earth.

The ships which had been built had taken some a few hundred years while those who had settled on this planet two thousand.

If it had not been for the immortals and the engineers of the ship, the humans would have died.

Either way, this family that my brother will be marrying into are a third branch from one of the founding families.

Now the founding families are ten in total, they are a family who dwelled in the higher domain.

The domain is simply a part of the territories they ruled that is secluded separately from commoners, middle-class citizens, lower nobles, and nobles.

Those who are allowed within are; higher nobles, royals and immortals and even those are later broken down into how far they are allowed to roam.
