When I growup

Chapter 33:Decisively. No way!

The doors of the main gate slid open, I took a deep breath; while I inhaled the wonderful orange blossom scent.

The corners of my mouth curled into a closed-lip smile.

With the wonderful blend of scattered orange trees and rose bushes, I had the scent I loved near my personal space.

This is my favourite among all the blossom scents.

This layout is not bad, after all, it was my creation with the help of my siblings and is a place I am highly accustomed to, of course with a few changes.

My servant pets would have been the ones who would have lived with me within my personal space, but now, I simply decided on two other commoners chosen by mother herself.

Mother may not pay us, her children much heed.

But when she does, she would never wrong us in any way.

Remembering my first menstrual period I could not help but to feel a bit depressed.

F*ck! How can I forget that women have that!

It did feel like I was dying and I had been asleep for three days, as well.

I really felt ashamed, ay.

"Master, welcome back."

The two servants dipped their heads bowed respect.

Slipping off my outdoor shoes; I slipped on the indoor shoes placed by the servant on the right; Meridth.

While the servant on her left Zia presented a bowl with water to wash my hands.

It's not that I am a clean freak, I just think that keeping my personal space clean and danger free is the best thing.

I have had three near-death experiences in this life.

Near, not far, but near.

Even if I died naturally of old age in my last life, the fact is the matter is; I experienced death.

I felt my heart slow, my breathing become difficult and while I wanted to finally confessed that though I loved my husband more than anyone, I still had room in my heart for them.

I died.

I have no desire to be killed in this life unless I reach the ripe old age.

Even if compared to those who welded power lived for hundreds of years while I might only have a measly two hundred.

So, this area was constructed especially as a preventative.

An area with a small side kitchen, three toilets, a shower and a medium sitting room specifically for guests.

Even if the King or the emperor visited, they will be refused entry into my boudoir.

What if they messed up everything and startled my baby crocodile?

*decisively. No way!*

Reaching into my sleeve I took out the tiny crocodile and watched it scurry away.

The front of my home consisted of an area that was separated from the main area for unwanted guests. Leading into the entrance to the main area of my home were eight flights of steps.

The walkway, graced with beautiful red-orange roofing; to protect one from, rain and snow.

This home had been designed with a similarity to the main house back on earth.

The place I had called home after the death of both my parents.

Shoving those rising thoughts aside I took the appropriate steps forward careful not to make my walk into a stride or a foolish trot but of half the normal length making me seem both leisure and carefree.

Heading to the side; where the bathroom was located, I allowed myself to be scanned and stepped in when the door the colour of the wall slid open allowing me entry.

Inside I did not hesitate and quickly stripped myself of the shirt and skirt I wore.

Then entered the tiled area where jets of water suddenly sprayed from all corners wetting my skin.

Finished a few minutes later, I grabbed a fluffy yellow towel and wrapped myself in it.

After, I went through the process of drying and moisturising my skin before dressing once more in comfortable clothes.

A simple sleeveless dress, with rose embroidery reaching just above my knees.

Though it is called simply the dress flared frim the waist area but emphasised my small waist.

My long shapely legs were exposed, a stark contrast to the white dress with the red rose design.

My long blue hair was piled in a messy bun, while my feet were encased in a pair of socks and shoes.

The contrast really was comical but I am home, comfort before fashion.

Exiting on the other side I walked, looking around.

I can never stop admiring m courtyard, my siblings truly are the best!

The courtyard was a paradise, the middle area consists of the pool that resembled a large pond.

Six paths led in various directions.

Beyond that is a garden that bloomed with purple, red, blue and yellow roses.

Everything was not different from earth except the size of the plants as they grew, each year if nothing major happened they would continually grow, a rose in its fortieth year would be as big as a human head, the Bush itself would tower two meters in height and a width of triple that.

The trees, sigh. Well if the roses bushes are so large.

Image the size of a tree, there is no way I would bother to say much.

The best thing about all of this is that humans can never starve, everything is abundant, with the world a hundred times the size of earth.

Of course, humans had spread into trillions scattering across the other worlds a few light-years away.

Now, humans are not like on earth anymore of course, with the world they have changed, the main characteristics are still there but other species have integrated.

Saying this, in some worlds they preferred to live separately while others decided that living together is not a bad thing.

In this world, we have separated, with a hierarchy system, it is not oppressive but the subtle things are there.
