When I growup

Chapter 13:loli

{multiple pov}

A few weeks after that interesting event ~

Sun-kissed goddess; Jah Di'ordi is known by this name in the entire class and those from the first-year class A students.

She always sat by the window gazing outside with a cold absent-minded look but could still score first in class and the entire third year.

She is a genius, she is beautiful, and she is in the eyes of Au Birdrice the person she could not help but admire.

Birdrice is not really a nice person, but she had the pleasant outlook anyway.

Right now she simple stood among but at the outer edges of the crowd of girls discussing together.

"That little brat keeps stealing young miss Kyle's place, she is such a little thief,"

"That's right, I even heard that young master Lu is one of her secret admirers, I just don't get what they see in that loli!"

"It is probably because she is a Jah!"

"That's right, she is the youngest, who doesn't know that her siblings dot on her!"

"My parents had told me that getting closer to that loli will benefit us, look at the Au family, they had been a low-class family who barely could enter our school but since sucking up to that loli they suddenly have many offers and have even been promoted one rank!"

"Wow, then the Jah family even though they are small without elders they…"

"Without? Well, are you not a clueless one,"

"What do you mean young miss Kar?"

"The Jah family might not have elders but the madam whose surname is Ti, have elders and the family is a decent size of course in her generation she is the only one but after her, they have many younger ones who are decent."

"Do they see the children from her line as decent?"

"Does it matter? Each child from the Jah lineage are geniuses and has the hands of madias. That loli is a genius as well, even if she stole the first rank pushing our flower down it is proof-"

"Are you praising her now? So what!? The fact is she is a thief! She should have stayed in the first year, why did she have to skip grades? Tch!"

"I am only speaking-" a slap rang out, the girl went silent, her eyes shuttered closed, all emotions that could be seen were all hidden, the girl stood still not reacting at all.

Right now she is surrounded, if she made a move they would attack her making her suffer in a way she would be unable to recover anytime soon.

"Is it not a sad thing when people become delusional?"

A childish voice was heard, the entire area became silent as a small figure appeared, the small girl moved silently and quickly, vanishing from her previous position to appear suddenly beside the girl who had been slapped.

"So I look like a loli...mmm...I don't really want to look like this but such is life. At least my legs look good, and my face is pretty. This flower, I wonder what type she is that all of you fools actually believe that I am a thief. I mean it is all about ability, I sit there looking outside minding my own business but the pests repeatedly appear and bother me. Is it my fault that I draw pests without any effort? Ah, please get your facts straight and don't spread rumours using my name, please and thank you."

Saying that, the girl who appeared spared the girl who had been slapped a glance, her gaze sent electricity through the girl forcing her to subconsciously shiver.

Those bright blue eyes looked as if they could see into her soul, even though she had no aversion to the youngest Jah sibling, she really had no desire to catch her eye.

Deep inside she felt that this youngest Jah girl was too far out of reach to even consider her among the others.

When next she blinked the young Jah had disappeared and she stood alone.

Blinking the girl who had long waist length ink black hair, Phoenix shaped eyes, small nose and well-shaped lips all placed in a way that gave her a delicate look, a willow form with a slightly above average height.

The girl like all within the school could be called pretty but she stood slightly above all others with looks and her family who were among the top eighty in the continent from among tens of thousands.

She had a right to speak as she wished because of that fact alone but if those other families had to combine their power and efforts what chance did she have?

Yet compared to a family like the Jahs who depended on their own effort to rise almost to the top they are nothing.

History? The Jahs had that.

Power? That to, compared to those who continue to secretly ridicule the youngest Jah child she rather stand aside.

Her wrist band vibrated, lifting her wrist where the once transparent wristband suddenly appeared the screen enlarging before her eyes displaying a text that caused the girl in question to almost panic in fear.

{Girl, you should focus on yourself instead of carrying favour with families who can fall any moment. This one will forgive you today because of your words but another mistake…}

The message disappeared soon after leaving the girl shivering.

Quickly she sought to contact her father to inform him and her fellow siblings.

{Father, please cancel the contracts with those families you had asked me to befriend. I...there was a problem and we have been warned, please inform the rest of the family immediately if not we will be unable to escape this calamity.}

After sending the message the girl placed her wristband on silent and quickly thought of what to do next.

This is school!

Why is it that to learn we have to implicate our families as children?

She simply wanted to keep her family safe, to fall from grace is a horrible thing, she had witnessed it before, she knew to; that their empire is merely a stepping stone for those who wish for true power.

The Jah parents had moved away to a place higher than even the top family here is unable to even reach.

Of course, she is also aware that those top twenty families had their own members outside but can they, for now, reach as far as the Jahs?

Numbers they may have, but what of the Jahs? They had to, but not by blood but dedicated servants.

Perhaps she had searched and dug too deep that is why…

Very well she will say and do nothing, simply learn to take all necessary steps to reach a level where she can stay safe.

She had no desire to stand too tall, what if she fell? The pain from there would be too much.

Du-Poi Aliah composed herself and returned, behind her the gaze of Au Birdice was calm. She may have spoken out of turn before but now she will try her best to be quieter. Especially since that warning.
