What It’s Like Being a Vampire

I wrote a short story and chatted a few words

When I'm coding, if my mind gets stuck, I don't feel like writing, or I'm tired of writing, my habit is to write something else, such as independent short stories, character extras, movie reviews, book reviews, or even paintings. Some hand-made cartoons to clarify my thoughts and tidy up my head.

The short story "Big Data Dating" that I just published was written during the past two or three days when I was tired of writing about vampires. It is all just random speculation. It is mainly about our living conditions in the upcoming 5G and big data era. A kind of imagination or reverie.

Maybe we will look back in a few years and find it too ridiculous, but it is at this point in time that we are given the space to imagine how to implement and expand these technologies, as well as the impact they have on our lives. Change.

You can click on my author name or search for "Big Data Dating" to see this short story. If you are interested, you can read it and discuss together. What do you think of the Internet of Things and the big data era? What do you want to read? What are you worried about happening?

I will write more short stories or extras for this book later on, so you don’t have to worry about affecting the update of Blood Tribe. No matter how much time I spend on Blood Tribe a day, I can basically reach 4-6K. Before I get to the full book, it will probably be difficult to break through this. It's the limit.

Book friends often ask me if I don’t have an outline. Of course I have an outline, not only an outline but also a handwritten outline. My outline has filled up three A5 notebooks and almost 10 UM-100 notebooks. I have a gel pen. I also have an EXCEL file, which is more than 130 KB. It records the events that happened to the protagonist and the date of drinking blood by date. All the characters, all the fictional places, all the "super-connected objects" and "love objects" "It's all on the table too.

But what may be more special is that the core line of my outline is the protagonist’s mutation route and ability development route. Everything is built around this point.

So I said before, in a sense, this book is actually a farm, constantly climbing the technological tree, which is the core and main line.

You should often notice that I update at 23:59. Most of the time, I don’t just finish writing at this time, let alone set a timer. Instead, no matter what time I finish writing, I will continue to think about it and deduce it repeatedly. Look at this Write down if there are any problems, if there are any self-contradictory bugs, if there is a better way of expression, if it can be more interesting, and then at 23:59, when I can no longer delay, I will update. The longer we get to the later stage, the longer this time will take, just like when we use PS or other tools to build a project, it starts very quickly, but when there are more and more materials, the project becomes larger and larger, and it takes a long time to open the light.

It is precisely because of this that now, no matter how many words, 4K, 5K, 6K or 8K, I publish them together as one chapter, because they can be put together to ponder...

Of course, there will be many problems in writing like this, and I am very aware of them. I will summarize them one by one when I review the entire book later.

The Blood Tribe is expected to end at the end of this year or the beginning of next year. This book is a failure in terms of performance alone, but judging from its own plot development and writing plan, it is still progressing steadily. It can enter the middle and late stages in such a step-by-step manner. Compared with My last book was already a big improvement, and I am actually quite satisfied with it.

Thank you to every book friend who is still reading. You are really super patient readersd(???d)

Thank you for your chapter reviews. I read almost every chapter review now. You are so cute and talented! Your chapter reviews have turned an interesting paragraph that originally scored 7 points into a 9 points, and made the originally boring explanatory text have a different kind of fun.

Thank you to every book friend who is willing to subscribe, vote, and reward. It is with your company that I can continue to write calmly at my own pace and with my own ideas.
