We Live in Dragon's Peak

44 Dragons and Demons

Dragon Peak is a mountainous area that divides East-West between the kingdom of Armuad and the nations ruled by the Demons.

In a place that is all too steep to have mountains higher than the clouds, the Dragon tribes divide into tribes and make and live a number of villages.

There were frequent disputes between the Demons and the Dragons until about five hundred years ago.

Some demon kings who then rule the eastern part of Dragon Peak took their place, and their demon kings suppressed the other demon kings, and these days they have been fighting a little less.

But still, the radical demon tribe breaks into the Dragon Peak and it is the status quo that is contending with the Dragon and Dragon tribes.

Mistral explained it to me as he set aside small things that would mark the desk we surrounded and made a simple map.

"You've been replaced by the Demon King in the middle of the place bordering the west side of Dragon Peak."

"Right. O demon king known as the demon king of giants. Some of the demon kings around here are very resistant to misdigits."

"Yeah. So there's a radical demon king in the north, and that's still rampant"

"Oh well. There are so many demon kings out there."

"The demons of today would have said. Like some people are good and some are bad, the Demons are not evil."

"I wonder if Mistral would know a good demon from that mouthful"

"A little."

Mistral with a complex look.

"Relationships are improving with the region ruled by the giant Demon King. So there's just a little bit of interaction."

"Yeah. Something's wrong."

"Right. Because I had a preconceived notion that it was an extremely evil species that I couldn't even discuss with the Demons."

Yeah, me and Louiseine snorting at each other.

"Because some of the old dragon people have that idea. I have no choice."

Mistle smiled bitterly.

"So there are people in that dragon clan who go inside the devil clan."

"You know what? And men, and devils, and dragons. If any race has good people, they have bad people."

"Who the hell is doing such a bad thing?"

"You're not an individual. Dragon Peak is complicated and steep. Besides, there are many tribes that make small villages and live in many places, so you can't let them secretly cross Dragon Peak alone without finding them."

"I wonder if that means doing something bad on a tribal basis"

"I apologize for any inconvenience caused to you people."

I reach out to Mistral with my head down. [M]

"It's not like Mistral is bad. So don't apologize."

"Right. There's nothing wrong with Mr. Mist."

"Hehe, that would help if you said so. But this is about the Dragon Nation. As Princess Dragon, let me tighten it up."

"Oh, peace of mind, please"

It's strong when you piss off Mistral. Do you understand, dragon tribes?

"Once the problem is solved, I'd like to go to Dragon Peak."

"Wow. Louiseine's got a lot of action."

"Elnea doesn't want to go."

"Me, too, of course, I'd like to go. You went to the village where Mistral lives."

"When you marry, you have to say hello to my parents and my chief."

"Grunt. Oh, yeah."

My face is drawn. [M]

"Oh well. Elnea, please give my parents a proper greeting."

"Oh, well, that's what happens."

I sweat from all over my body. [M]

I wonder what Mistral's parents are like. Are you scared, are you sweet?

Do I have to greet the chief as well?

But it is, isn't it? Anyway, the Dragon Nation is proud to be your daughter-in-law.

In doing so, I wonder if I should greet the dragon tribe people in the village as well.

Old Sleighsta said Mistral was popular and suitors were arriving, so the men seem scared.

Louiseine's parents are definitely tough people.

Anyone can tell by watching what Luiseine says and does.

Keeli, Listeer's daughter-in-law candidate, is the same witch as Louiseine, but you said Listeer wouldn't quite approve of her marriage if she had another daughter-in-law.

I'm sure Luiseine will do the same.

Can I persuade Louiseine's parents? [M]

Before Mistral's sweet marriage to Louiseine, I had a super hard time asking questions.

"Elnea, before you greet your parents, you must make us fall in love first."

"That's right!!

Yes, that's the challenge. How can Mistral and Louiseine fall in love with me?

"I mean, Mistral and Louiseine don't like me right now?

"It's against the rules to ask that."

"Good luck, Herneau."

Mistral and Louiseine smiled and stroked my head together.

After that, we talked about it again without a hold, and it opened up.

"Good night, Herneau."

"Yeah, good night"

"Ernea. You mustn't do anything weird to Priscia. Niemia, keep your eyes open."

"Heh."

"Yeah, well, there's nothing weird about that."

Smiling at my panic, Mistral and Louiseine returned to their room.

"Niemia was awake."

"Nyan."

I thought I was falling asleep with Priscia.

Before leaving the room, Mistral was putting Priscia in the futon properly.

It also opens up a place where I can be sure. [M]

I was the light source in the room. Turn off the lights and slip into the futon.

Niemia moved over me and Priscia's futon and got round there.

"Good night."

"Night, Nina."

And I fell asleep.

When I thought about it, Priscia hugged me.

"Ugh. With your brother."

"Wow, Priscia, you were awake"

I wonder if I've ever slept with a raccoon.

"Mm-hmm. I just woke up."

"Alama. I think I woke him up."

Priscia was laughing as she clung to my arm, lying down.

"Priscia, go back to sleep"

"Mnh-mnh-mnh, I'm fine now"

"No, no, no. It's only night, and I have to go to bed because I'm way ahead in the morning."

"No, no, no."

"Don't be so cute."

"Ugh, your brother's messing with you"

"Haha. Look, if you really don't go to sleep, you won't wake up tomorrow morning."

"Mm-hmm. I'm not sleepy, so I'm gonna stay a little longer."

"It's the only way."

There was no sign of me leaving the futon, so I decided to hang out with Priscia's selfishness.

"Tell me something."

"What, what's the story?

"Mist will tell you a fairy tale."

"Mm-hmm. That's hard."

Mistral is a good kid.

I'm in a hurry because I don't know how to deal with a little kid at a time like this.

"I want to hear your brother's story"

Priscia's body temperature was warm as she snuggled up.

"Mm-hmm, yeah."

I told my mother a fairy tale about a man I used to tell her.

As soon as that happened, Priscia took a regular nap.

Ugh. Wasn't that funny?

I wonder if I should put my chest down that you fell asleep right away. With complicated thoughts, I fell into my dreams, too.

The next morning.

I woke up shaken by Mistral. [M]

"Ah, good morning."

"Morning."

Seeing me awake, Mistral was smiling bitterly.

"Elnea, keep the room properly locked. Don't worry about it."

"Oh, shit. I've lost my mind."

I am pulled back into the futon by the weight of my arm in an attempt to wake up.

When I saw it, Priscia was still sleeping in my arms.

I wonder if this means a good sleeping minister.

"You're loved."

Shirai, Mistral staring at me.

"Chi, no. It's a misunderstanding."

I panicked, but I got lightly flushed. [M]

"Come on, Priscia, wake up too. If you don't wake up, there's no breakfast."

"Ugh, sleepy"

In response to the word rice, Priscia wakes up.

"Oh well. Elnea, you and Priscia are having an explosion."

"Wow."

I blush when they see my sleeping head.

"You have no choice. I'll fix it for you today."

"Yes, fine, I can do it myself."

My screaming refusal was ignored, and Mistral untied my hair when he brought it.

"Oh, they took a delicious role. Shall I play Priscia?"

Louiseine untied Priscia from my arm as well. [M]

Nevertheless.

I must not have slept properly because I slept with Priscia in my arms, and Priscia shouldn't have moved with her arms in her arms, but why did she become an amazing sleeping habit?

"Priscia woke up in the morning and I hugged her again."

Neemia was awake at some point, and then she walked under me and told me the truth.

You were.

Well, so is that. You can't sleep with us both hugged all night, can you?

Still, it feels good to have people touch your hair.

I feel like I'm having a haircut, but I'm having another drowsiness attack when Mistral touches my hair.

Priscia, you're falling asleep.

"You guys, at all"

Mistral sighed as if he was frightened, and Luiseine was smiling.

After that, the payment is over, and we take out the inn. [M]

Outside the inn, a patrol soldier had already stopped the carriage in the street corner and waited.

We all exchange greetings and invite people from the patrol out for breakfast.

Priscia had an appetite all morning, and the patrol soldiers were surprised.

And when we were full, we started riding in the carriage for the rest of the journey.

Oh, and you're comfortable with your carriage journey.

Face outside the front, the view passes like it flows.

Priscia likes the view, too. She sits beside the patrol at your table and looks out for the view.

And in front of me, I became Mistral and Luiseine.

"Did you sleep well last night?

"Didn't you do anything weird to Priscia"

"Ugh. I slept well, and I didn't do anything weird."

How little credit do I have for being suspected by a witch?

Louiseine laughs when she tells me she's joking.

"That girl is strong."

I snap my neck at Mistral smiling the same way. [M]

"You're traveling far from the village where you lived, with us who haven't been so close, and you don't even wander off."

"Right, right"

"If you were that much of a child, you'd probably burn more hands"

"That's the Ear Long Clan, I wonder"

"Racially, I wonder if Priscia is more amazing than that. I hope the great curiosity doesn't cause problems later."

"Priscia has a great spirit, and if it's not a big deal, you can rest assured."

"Nevertheless, remember that he is still a child"

"Priscia is a spiritual."

"That's right. It's amazing."

I tell Louiseine about Priscia's spirit.

Louiseine knew a lot more about spirits and ear elders than I did, but she listened to me with pleasure.

By the way, it seems that Louiseine, the war witch, also studied a lot about the Spirit and various races in her temple studies.

Well, I guess school seating didn't do it because I knew all about it.

Thought I'd ask.

"Schools are fun to learn a lot at school."

"If the place changes, there may be new discoveries."

"Oh, really?"

As I snorted deeply, Mistral changed the subject.

"On the way home, we'll use the Dragon Forest"

"What is it all of a sudden?

There is no decent path in the Dragon Forest. Even if it is, it is a beast path, and the streets are much easier to walk and go on.

"I told Louiseine last night that I'd introduce her to you."

"Oh, you know what?"

If you're going to be my daughter-in-law, it seems more convenient to meet Old Sleighsta.

And I make my face snap.

Do I have to make you fall in love before I make you my wife?

Something's been bothering me since yesterday.

Mistral and Louiseine looked at me suddenly roaring with their heads, smiling bitterly.

So the third day's journey went well, and at last in the evening, we reached the vice capital.
