We Are Destined - Let Me Pamper You

Frowning her brows, she warily got up to see Feng Jianyu was sitting beside her head. Alternating her gaze between the brothers she asked shrugging her shoulders at Feng Junjie, "What!! Have you never seen a sleeping woman before?" her voice sounded callous.

Feng Junjie "…."

He got shocked hearing the tone of her voice, "I didn't do anything Sister Me…"

"Second master I'm not your Sister Mei Mei, call me Xiu Mei… Don't make unnecessary relations with me" Before Feng Junjie could complete his sentence, she chided him for calling her Sister Mei Mei.

"But I consider you as my sister… Sister Mei Mei", lowering his head he replied in a mosquito-like voice. Feng Junjie felt hurt at her cold behavior. This was the first time she had talked to him like this.

Xiu Mei was herself shocked by the tone of her voice. This is against her nature to speak to someone this rudely. Even while bickering with Feng Junjie, she had never crossed the line of her manners.

Due to her morning argument with Xion, she felt herself not in the mental state to talk to anyone, it will only make the situation difficult for her.

Covering her face with both her hands she grunted in frustration loudly, 'Xiu Mei you better shut your mouth… Otherwise, don't know how many people you might hurt today'.

Feng Junjie and Feg Jianyu jumped back in shock when she reacted like this.

Feng Jianyu was noticing every expression on her face. He frowned upon noticing that something was off about her. In a situation like this, she would have normally tried to bicker her way out from the morning incidence, by turning the tables in her favor.

But it seems she is not giving any heed to whatever happened in the morning. Her mind is wandering somewhere else, she is not in her correct state of mind.

His gaze deepened as he looked at her intently. For an unknown reason he felt as if she wants to cry her heart out, but she is pushing herself to be strong. Watching her behaving like this he felt as if someone has squeezed his heart mercilessly. Forgetting about all his resentment against her, his hands itched to take her in his arms to console her.

He wanted to tell her that she is not alone in this world, doors to his heart is always open for her. She only has to take the first step towards him, rest of the distance he will cover for her.

Feng Jianyu's body reacted subconsciously, he moved forward and gently called for her by placing his hand against her shoulder, "Mei…"

Hearing the gentle voice she could not control herself anymore and the build-up emotion burst out through her eyes. A tear rolled down her cheeks, soon to be followed by more as she sniffled. Her hands were still hiding her face, refuse to see anyone around her.

Her body shuddering in sobs, she kept on murmuring, "I'm sorry... I don't want to sound rude… I'm sorry…. I'm not a rude person… I'm sorry…"

That was the end of the patience of Feng Jianyu. There was only this much a man could take against his woman. His body reacted automatically as he threw an arm around her shoulder to pull her into his arms gently. He was careful enough to hold her lightly so as not to scare her away.

His left hand was at the back of her head while his right hand was wrapped around her shoulder, holding her close to his heart. After a few seconds, she removed both her hands from her face and clutched his shirt tightly, hiding her face in his broad c.h.e.s.t as she keeps on sobbing in his embrace.

Feng Junjie was stunned, he got the biggest scare of his life today. Blaming himself for Xiu Mei's abrupt reaction, he moved forward and whispered, "Sister Me… I mean Miss. Xiu Mei, I'm sorry! It was my mistake to call You Sister Mei Mei without taking your permission first… Please don't cry…"

Hearing this she cried more, and answered in between in her sobs, "I'm sorry… I'm hurting everyone's feeling today… I'm sorry for hurting you"

Feng Junjie jumped back and looked at his brother guiltily. But Feng Jianyu was too preoccupied with the girl in his arms that he has no time to check on his brother's emotions.

Xiu Mei's sobs subsided after a few minutes, she raised her head and pulled herself out from Feng Jianyu's embrace.

All of a sudden he felt empty when she pulled herself out from his embrace. Rubbing his hands he clasped them behind his back. Looking at her red crying face, he asked softly, "Feel better?" She nodded without lifting her head up.

"Good! Let's go inside…" Holding her hand Feng Jianyu turned to walk towards the entrance of the villa. Xiu Mei walked absentmindedly behind him without noticing that he is holding her hands.

Feng Junjie "....."

'Are they leaving me behind? Did my own brother treated me like an air?'
