Crossing his arms over his c.h.e.s.t he asked with raised brows, "Ohhh! So whatever happened last night, it was your handiwork?"

Rubbing her nose, she turned her face and looked outside the window, "I don't know what you are talking about… Get off my car, I'm getting late for office"

"Right, how would you know what I'm talking about! Let me tell you what happened…." He turned towards him completely, "Last night few men called me for phone S*X" he emphasized on the word s*x.

Hearing this, her cheeks turned red, covering her cheeks she stuttered, "CEO… CEO Feng get off my car… I don't want to hear this rubbish"

"You know what happen next? One of them said...….."

Closing her eyes and covering both her ears, she yelled, "Ahhhhhhaaa…. You shameless man, don't go any further….please please…"

Feng Jianyu quietly stared at her… He was amused by her response and was having a hard time to control his laughter.

After some time when she didn't hear any voice, opening her right eye she peeked at her side. But Feng Jianyu was still sitting there looking at her with raised brows.

She pressed her lips and said with a straight face, "CEO Feng I'm getting….."

"FENG JIANYU"

"What?"

"If you don't want me to take this matter any further, then call me FENG JIANYU, instead of CEO Feng. I'm fed-up of hearing CEO Feng from your mouth."

She smirked, "Otherwise what can you do? You don't have any proof that it was my handiwork!"

Putting her elbow on the steering wheel and supporting her head with her palm, she continued, "But since you are looking for a change, how about I'll call you monst….cough… I mean Mr. Feng…. This is also good, Right?"

Feng Jianyu "….."

'I know you are very smart, you must have removed all the online marks to track you… But I've no interest to track you, I want to trap you forever into my life.'

He scoffed, "Fine! Call me by whatever name you want…"He opened the car door to get off.

Xiu Mei "…."

'That's it? Really? Wowww Xiu Mei you are amazing, monster headache ran off'

But her happiness is short lived. He turned back to her, "Xiu Mei do you think, Uncle Tom and Aunt Mary would like to hear the last night's phone call… I'm thinking to play the recording at the dinner table tonight…"

Xiu Mei "….."

Horrified at this, her expression made a reverse turn, "CEO Feng, you..."

"What did you call me?"

"CEO Fe….. FE…Feng Jia…nyu", she answered in a mosquito like voice.

Bringing his ear closer to her, "What did you call me? I didn't hear it"

Reluctantly she repeated, "Feng Jianyu"

"Good girl! Don't call me CEO Feng from next time… now go… you are getting late" He gets off from the car and without looking back entered the building.

He smiled, 'Oh Mei! You are so adorable, I can see my future life is going to be full of happiness with you in it'.

Xiu Mei looked at his back and cursed him, 'Monster headache!'

Phoenix Enterprises is at a 5 minutes distance from Feng Corporation. Parking her car into the bas.e.m.e.nt, she directly entered the president's elevator by entering the passcode.

This particular elevator was only accessible to Mr. X and her.

She entered the top floor of the building, standing in front of the glass door she let the computer scan her completely and later feed in her password.

This entire floor is her high tech lab, more advanced than the one at her home… Since she doesn't trust anyone, no one can enter here except Mr. X and her.

Mr. X's office is one floor below her tech lab.

On this floor, she has an observatory deck, an open roof system installed, one helipad and many hi tech machines worth billions of dollars.

Like her house, her lab is also neat and clean without a speck of dust. She uses the same cleaning mechanism at her home.

Without wasting any time she started working on the next invention of Phoenix Enterprises.

Mr. X entered the company an hour later in his convoy of four cars with a limousine in between. His chauffer stopped the car in front of the office building, door man opened the door and bowed respectfully.

A man in his late twenties stepped out of the car and entered inside the building. As soon as he entered employees entering inside the company and the one sitting at the reception wished him respectfully. He nodded at them and entered inside the president's elevator.

After he left, all the female employees swooned over his good looks and blushed. They keep on turning their heads to take a look at him again and again until he left.

He's slim, muscular, everyone loves him, they're drawn to him. His eyes were a mesmerizing blue like an ocean shining under the sunlight. His face was strong and defined. His lips thin and nose slender sharp.

His one look can make both women and men swooned at the sight of him no matter their s.e.x.u.a.l preferences and one word from his lips can make even the straightest of men flushing their cheeks in crimson red.

For everyone, he is a handsome man, but for Xiu Mei, he has a beautiful heart.

Reaching the floor of his office, he entered inside the cabin and pressed the button to call his secretary.

Within a minute his secretary knocked and entered inside Mr. X's cabin.

"Shift all my meetings to the latter half and make sure no one disturbs me", ordering his secretary, he opened the laptop and started typing something.

"Yes sir, I'll reschedule the meeting right away"

After his secretary left, X closed the laptop and went to the resting lounge in his room. There is an elevator inside the resting lounge that is directly connected to the top floor, where Xiu Mei's lab is situated.

On reaching the top floor, he passed through the security measures and secretly entered inside the lab.

He saw Xiu Mei was working diligently sitting in front of the supercomputer, and her back is towards him. Reaching behind her, he tried to scare her…..

"X, don't you dare try this stupid trick on me… This is my lab and you cannot hide your presence from me here. I was informed of your arrival the moment you stepped on the top floor", she warned without removing her gaze from the computer screen.

He pursed his lips, "Boring! You are such a killjoy".

She scoffed, "Stop being a child X… Don't you have a meeting schedule in the morning? Go from here, don't pester me…"

Feeling resentful at her behavior, he pulled a chair beside her and sits down facing away from her. Crossing his arms he complained, "Mei, you are so bad, I hate you... I came after a long trip, and you are not giving any attention to me… No hugs, no greetings, no smiles… Is this how you treat your boss??"

He hits the computer lightly, "I'm jealous of this stupid metal box, you give more attention to it than me…"

-------Xiu Mei kept on typing on her computer and did not pay any attention to him.

He huffed, "Fine! Don't talk… but at least tell me what are you working on? Is this your new invention?"

"Hmmmm", she responded with a sound.

"Mei, can you give me two minutes of yours? I'm your boss, answer me properly" He ordered sternly.

With her eyes still glued to the screen, she replied nonchalantly, "You know the reality behind Phoenix Enterprises better than me"

Mr. X "..."

"Ouchhhhh…. Oww…oww…."

He pinched Xiu Mei's cheeks and forcefully turned her face towards him, "Mei, How dare you ignore me…. You really thi..."

Looking at her bandaged head, his brows furrowed, a playful attitude which he was carrying just a moment ago flew out of the window and an icy cold aura took its place.

Releasing his grip on her cheeks, he touched the bandage on her forehead, "Ouchh…." She winced in pain when he touched it.

Seeing the grimace of pain on her face, he yanked his hand back. "I'm sorry… I'm really sorry… I did not mean to hurt you..." He panicked at her reaction.

She sensed his perturbation, "Calm down X… It's not serious, I'm fine..." Holding his arm she tried to relax him.

"But you winced in pain!"

Rolling her eyes, "Yaa… because you touched it, obviously it will hurt…."

Turning back to her work she said, "Now go and attend meeting… I'll talk to you after I'm done with this".

X did not stir an inch from his place and dialed his secretary's number, "Wu Zixin, get me the best doctor in t....."

Xiu Mei immediately ran up to him and snatched the phone from his hands, "Wu Zixin, no… no need to get any doctor… and reschedule X's meeting at the original timing… It's my order, do it now"

After hanging up the phone, she turned to him, "X, I said I'm fine, can you please pay attention to my words? I've already got my injury treated by the best doctor in the country, I'll repeat my words once more… NO NEED TO WORRY, I'M FINE…" Snorting at him, she turned back to her work station.

Clenching his fists tightly, X took a deep breath and asked softly, "Fine! But at least tell me how did this happen?"

"I told you I slipped in the bathroom, nothing more nothing less…"

"Are you sure this is the reason?"

"YES"

X understood that she is not going to reveal anything to him, nodding his head lightly he said, "All right, I believe you…" Holding her shoulder from behind, he instructed her, "Don't exert yourself, take rest in between, I'll ask my chef to prepare healthy lunch for you, Ok?"
