In Titan Megacity, the six Assassins from the Warring Dragon Guild had revived. Losing a life in a natural disaster as one of the most tragic and dumb ways to die in the Boundless World. Not only would the body go missing, but the soul would also not be ejected before revival back in the city.

Immediately after the revival, the first thing the six of them did was to check their equipment. Soon after, a cry of despair could be heard. “Oh my God, this is the worst decision I ever made. I lost two pieces of equipment to this damn Botanist!”

“Two? How sad… I lost three! What the heck, fucking GM!” Just as he thought he was the most unfortunate, another Assassin cursed aloud at the GM, his eyes were glistening, with a mixture of tears and rage.

Other than the stately leader, everyone else only lost a piece of equipment. In most Guild Bounty Hunts, a successful completion would yield the adventurer a hefty remuneration. However, any loss would not be compensated by the Guild. While they were fuming with dissatisfaction and anger, they knew they were fortunate to escape with these little losses.

“What? You all were wiped out by a Level 20 party?”

Amongst the Assassins, one of them carelessly let out news on the Guild Channel. The story immediately spread throughout the Guild like an uncontrollable inferno, catching the others’ attention quickly.

Just a day prior, the poor handling of the mission by Luo Cheng in Gray Stone Forest had already tarnished the mighty name of Warring Dragon Guild in Titan Megacity. The Warring Dragon Guild reacted by placing a kill warrant on these adventurers, making this Guild Bounty Hunt Mission a center of attraction. Now, these six Assassins returned with a shameful result of being annihilated by a party that was 30 levels lower than them, putting the entire guild at a loss for words.

“We have no idea what that guy did. We only saw him release fireworks, then we were already running from a massive avalanche. The next thing we knew, we were already three feet below the snow!” One of the Assassins erupted in a fury, grumbling loudly. There was nothing worse than being buried alive with a baffling method by a Botanist who could not break their defense!

Avalanche on the Big Snowy Mountain?

This inconceivable thought sent a chilling shiver down the spines of all that heard it. Of all the potential tragedies in the game, the most dramatic ending would be to die by natural disasters. For example, walking out in the open on a stormy day. By a stroke of back luck, the lightning struck an adventurer. Even if he was at the maximum Level 120, equipped fully with Epic Equipment, there was no way he would survive! Worse yet, if there were any equipment loss, he could only curse and swear at the bad luck he had.

As expected, several adventurers were skeptical. This scenario was baffling and inconceivable. Soon, they were questioned, “is this even possible?”

One of the Assassins snapped, “You think we are lying? Then, how else can a Level 20 adventurer wipe us all out?”

“Keep it down. Man-made avalanches are possible. A very long time ago, an adventurer did make it happen.” Before the verbal warfare broke out, an old, hoarse voice interrupted.

“Man-made avalanches? Hm, this party that destroyed Luo Cheng is only Level 20?”

As the unbelievable discussion entered the ears of Rage for a Woman, the Sub-Guild Master’s face drained of color, turning as white as snow. Without delay, the Guild Master opened the Guild channel, confirming the news.

“I heard that the Botanist did this. We have no clue about his background, but a conventional adventurer would not know of this method or be able to make such peculiar equipment.” Mini Dragon was perplexed. She was one of the elders of the Titan Megacity’s Sub Guild, and Rage for a Woman was the Master.

“That is definite! Making an avalanche is far from easy! Ever since the incident from years back, never did anyone else successfully make this thing occur!” Scanning through the Guild Channel, Rage for a Woman made her judgment firmly.

Four years ago, something like this had occurred. At that time, the game had barely begun. Every leveling point was chock full of adventurers. Even on the Big Snowy Mountains, there were more adventurers than monsters. There was one incident that was deeply etched into her mind. An avalanche suddenly occurred, wiping out more than a thousand lives at once. That devastation, that bloodshed still plagued Rage for a Woman’s mind to this day.

“Amongst the veterans, did any of them go through rebirth?” Rage for a Woman turned to Little Dragon, her face dark and solemn.

“How is it possible? Which one of them would reach the maximum level and look for more pain?” Little Dragon laughed wryly.

“Right…?” Rage for a Woman nodded and laughed awkwardly, Maybe he was too sensitive.

“What should we do now? I heard this Botanist is very skilled…”

“Even if he’s skilled, he is just another adventurer. Our Warring Dragon Guild has several enemies, one more does not matter! Who does he think he is? Hmph!” Rage for a Woman folded his arms and snorted.

In his mind, only those who were in the top hundred adventurers were considered threatening enemies. What could another slightly more skilled adventurer do? He was just Level 20 anyway.

“You’re right…” Little Dragon attempted a smile.

At the same time, Rage for a Woman’s face twisted into a complex ball of emotions.

“What happened?” Naturally, Little Dragon was overwhelmed with trepidation.

“The headquarters…. They asked me to withdraw the warrants!”

“Wah! Boss, you are so impressive! How did you do that? I remember I just bought some ordinary fireworks…” At another revival point, Ye Chen and the others revived. Dharma was the first to revive. Immediately, he grasped onto Ye Chen’s arm, pushing his face straight at Ye Chen and asked.

“Yeah! You gotta tell us!” All of Purple Olive’s anger had dispersed, replaced by sheer admiration for Ye Chen.

While they might have been killed again, seeing the Warring Dragon Guild’s Assassins desperately dashing for lives but still getting buried under five feet of snow was sweet like saccharin.

For them, dying on incurred EXP losses. However, it was not only so for the Warring Dragon Guild Assassins. All of them lost equipment. On top of that, the three Assassins marked by crime value even lost a staggering 20% of their EXP! For adventurers at their level, 20% of the EXP would require days of grinding to recuperate!

In comparison, Dharma and Purple Olive had just made back all their entire day’s worth of losses!

“Nothing much, I just used a special Enchanting Equipment.” Ye Chen smiled and took out a piece of equipment.

“Premium Enchanting Jewel: Leo’s Music. An Enchanting Tool, it can give a person or equipment boosted volume. Remaining Usage: 47… Boss, I am thoroughly impressed. Why do you have such peculiar equipment?” Dharma was dumbstruck as he read the attributes.

This item may look extraordinary. However, Dharma could not think of another use for it other than making avalanches.

“Right? This thing is damn weird! Hey, are you some pro that went through rebirth? Otherwise, where did all this weird stuff come from?” Purple Olive had long been suspicious of Ye Chen. Now, he could no longer suppress his curiosity, bursting out in question.

Hearing that straightforward question, even the Queen of the Night was piqued, turning and staring intently at Ye Chen.

“Why should I tell you?” Ye Chen sniggered and stared back. Right now, Purple Olive could only wish to strangle this man and end it once and for all.

“Boss, what do we do next? Go back to the mountains? But the Warring Dragon Guild seems to be using some method to find out positions…” Dharma remembered clearly. There was not a single soul around them, but the Warring Dragon Guild knew their location beforehand.

“Well, they used the Guild’s Search Warrant. Within a day, they can use it on any enemy on the Guild’s wanted list. Then, they will know the approximate location of that party.” Ye Chen sighed lightly. Using the Search Warrant would cost 1000 Gold and 1000 Guild Contribution Points. The effects of it were inconsistent. If the adventurer was traveling when the search was conducted, then 1000 Gold and the 1000 Guild Contribution Points would go down the drain. Usually, no one would use such a high-cost but low-reliability item. Yet, Ye Chen never expected Luo Cheng to have such a formidable background, allowing him to risk it.

“Boss… HUH? Boss! My friend just contacted me. The Warring Dragon Guild had withdrawn us from their Wanted List.” Just as Dharma was about to speak, he received shocking news.

“Withdrawn us from their Wanted List?” Ye Chen’s brows curled into a wrinkle.

This did not fit the working style of the Warring Dragon Guild. In fact, Ye Chen was ready to give them another in two days. After that, he would hide somewhere and level up in peace. Never had he expected to be withdrawn from their Wanted List. It was perplexing that Luo Cheng, someone with an extraordinary background, would suddenly make such an illogical and fishy move!
