Before they could speak another word, an armed squad broke in, definitely Natural, they surrounded them so that they had no opportunity to escape, they were forced to surrender their weapons.

With handcuffs and under the surveillance of multiple agents, they walked to the car, the agents shoved them in and started driving, Daniel Heinrich asked where they were going but was told to remain silent. He looked outside, it was twilight, the most beautiful time in a day and they were passing through bushes, heading for nowhere, handed their fates to destinies.

Velika O'Sullivan was concentrating on unlocking her handcuff, she found a small pin in the gap of the car seat. She successfully unlocked her handcuffs and trying to help Daniel Heinrich out, but when she was unlocking his handcuff, the agents found out and pointed the gun at her, telling her to sit back.

Daniel Heinrich glanced at the car door, telling her to decamp, but she shook her head. He frowned, using eye contact to tell her that she must go, and she could come back to save him later. she bit her lips and finally, she nodded.

"Sometimes what you see are all fake, they are baits for bigger fish." Said Velika O'Sullivan bitterly, give him the hint to digest, before the agent could respond, she pulled the door open and jumped out. The agent was shocked but started shooting right away, Daniel Heinrich leaned forward and dropped the gun by both of his hands. The agent quickly contacted others, told them to fire, but Velika O'Sullivan was already disappeared in the bush.

Hopefully, she would be fine, he thought, but then he thought she would come to find him and launch a bloody fight, now he began wishing these agents would take him to somewhere that Velika O'Sullivan could never find, for her good.

And what did she mean by baits for the bigger fish? Was she telling him all of these were plotted like he predicted that she was double alias? He had to wait and see how things went, it was time to defend for his future.

He was taken to a small house in the middle of a forest, with no clue where it was but he was sure that it was Astoria Leontes' safe house. Two agents gripped his arms and took him inside, this wooden little house was decorated like Christmas, with electrical fake fire in the fireplace, and warm-colored rugs.

A woman was sitting on the sofa, watching him. A woman who was very alluring but filled with a condescending attitude and willing to dominate everything in her hands. She was the most beautiful woman he had ever met in his life. She had long, naturally wavy light brown hair and big, deep hazel colored eyes, she was probably in her late 30s but age did not erase her delicate, graceful figure. Just like her brother-in-law, she seemed to have the ability to control others' minds, the only difference was that she was way more powerful and had deep, dark, secrets hidden in her ice-cold heart.

"Those handcuffs aren't necessary," Demanded Astoria Leontes, an agent took off the handcuffs for him, she pointed at the chair, "And Mr. Heinrich, have a seat."

"I'm fine with standing," Daniel Heinrich declined her offer derisively, "Just tell me what you want from me."

"I have no intention to harm you, Mr. Heinrich, I see potential in you." She flipped her hair, her really strong Northern European accent didn't weaken her ice-cold tone, "And I insist you have a seat."

Her voice made Daniel Heinrich follow her order, she had the power to make people obey, filled her temptation no matter what they were.

"Perfect," She continued, "So do you mind telling me the relationship between you and Velika?"

"We are colleagues." He shrugged, knowing Astoria Leontes was devising something, he could tell that from her eyes, but he didn't know what she was planning, nothing without a twist.

"Oh, I see." She had a labyrinthine smile on her face, "Then things are much easier. I assumed it would be harder when I was planning it."

"You planned all, it was a conspiracy from the beginning." Daniel Heinrich mocked, "All setups, you wanted Romeo Leontes suspect you and chase after you, but why?"

"Then what makes you think Velika could escape so easy? And you know why, Mr. Heinrich," She winked, "I have to take down Romeo."

All plotted, all PLOTTED, they were in a war that they could never win.

"You killed your father-in-law," Daniel Heinrich looked around and lowered his voice, "But I can careless of that, but I want to know, is Velika O'Sullivan working for you?"

"I didn't kill Edmund, he died of an overdose, all I had to do was make it look like he was injected by some unknown chemical, and it was easy if you are a friend of the coroner." She stood up, pacing around the room, avoided eye contact with him, "And for your question about Velika, well, all I can say is she's working for whoever benefits her most."

"She is double alias, she works for you all the time." Though Daniel Heinrich still had doubts, he sounded like he was firm about the facts, "Why did she want to take down Romeo Leontes, he recruited her."

"I can't work for you if you don't tell me the truth." Daniel Heinrich rose his eyebrow.

"Do you think I don't know your little secrets?" Astoria Leontes leaned forward and whispered at his ears, her warm breath made him uncomfortable, "About Clarabelle Lewis and the black-market business. I can put you in jail, so do me a favor, do what I'm going to tell you."

Daniel Heinrich gritted his teeth, he had to admit her threaten worked.

"Here's the bargain," Astoria Leontes stepped back, held her arms, "For now Velika is Romeo's only trustworthy agent, I want her to disappear."

"Pardon?" He couldn't believe his ears if Velika O'Sullivan worked for her, why did she want to get rid of Velika O'Sullivan?

"Relax," She laughed, "I'm not asking you to kill her, she's very valuable, I want her to vanish for a while. You are a smart person, I think you understand what I mean."

Daniel Heinrich look thoroughly into her pretty eyes, pretty women were devils, now he believed this theory. Then he remembered what Velika O'Sullivan hinted him, all for the bigger fish. He had the reason to believe that Velika O'Sullivan was working for Astoria Leontes, for some reason she wanted to take down Romeo Leontes for revenge. Also, Astoria Leontes' avoidance of Velika O'Sullivan, could work as another proof.

"You'll go with my theory," She said slowly, "I told you I see potential in you, I want you to officially work for Natural, in a high level, Velika's level, the Field Agent Chair. Think about it, Mr. Heinrich, it may look like I put you on my threads, but this is the only chance bring you back to glory."

"Is Velika O'Sullivan working for you?" He asked again, "Answer my question and I'll make my decision."

"Velika is a woman with too many burdens, she makes choices for herself." She answered meaningfully, "She would work for me if that suits her best."

"Fine, we have a deal." Daniel Heinrich said ruthlessly, "It's a game nobody is innocent."

"I agree." Astoria Leontes smiled.
