Suddenly she punched the first guard on his cheekbones, while he didn't realize what had just happened, she elbowed the back of his head. She seized the gun from the guard's hand when he was trying to take it out from his side pocket and knocked him out. The second guard tried to grab her arm and fire the gun. She dodged the first time, but the guard caught her the second time, he choked her, and she could barely breathe, but she used her elbowed him in his abdomen, he stepped back and released her. She turned back and aimed the gun at him. He raised his hands, she approached him and was about to knock him out as well.

However, in the meantime, the interphone rang. She frowned and gestured the guard to pick it up and forced him to report an all-clear status.

"Wait." She said before he spoke. She took out her phone and turned on the voice recorder, "Ok, now say it."

"Section four is clear." Said the guard, looking at her gun nervously. She nodded and he put down the interphone.

The second he put down the interphone, she stepped up and knocked him down. She then took out her hairpin which was a mini injector and injected hypnotics to them. Since this job was not officially supported by Natural, Velika O'Sullivan and Daniel Heinrich managed to get sleeping pills from the local pharmacy and managed to convert them to be suitable for intravenous injections. Pathetic was what Daniel Heinrich said. Velika O'Sullivan placed her cellphone in front of the interphone and set the timer so that this section wouldn't miss any check-in status. A perfect excuse to get a new phone, she rose her eyebrow.

"One advantage being a woman," Said Velika O'Sullivan to herself after she finished handling the two guards, "You can smuggle things with your accessories. And hopefully, these sleeping pills would work, fingers crossed."

Daniel Heinrich had reached the roof. He checked around, there were no signs of another human being. He hoped he could be like one of the agents in the TV series or movies who had a computer person outside the field to monitor everything. Sadly, no, all he had was himself. Any moment could be dangerous, who knew what would happen in the next second?

The power room was located on the far edge of the roof. When he was approaching there, he had the magnificent view of New York City under his eyes. The noise from the traffic; the sight of people rushing to their destinations made Daniel Heinrich wonder if one day he would become one of them. Perhaps he would live a normal life, work a regular job to pay off his mortgage and his family. Then he quickly shook off his unrealistic idea.

He sighed and opened the door of the power room. He was clueless about what those cables were responsible for. But after examining several wires, he found the main one. After placing the breaker down, he returned to the staircase.

"All clear, what about you?" He contacted Velika O'Sullivan when he was running down the stairs.

"Meet you at the hall, all clear." Answered Velika O'Sullivan when she found another gun from the guards' drawer. She switched off the surveillance cameras and walked out of the room with light steps.

Suddenly Daniel Heinrich's phone vibrated, which startled him. He looked around and made sure no one was there before answering. To his surprise, it was Clarabelle Lewis. Did she find any useful information? How could she work this fast?

"Hello?" He greeted her with a deep, husky voice.

"Daniel, I… XYZ-2421 wasn't just a pill…. they are further developing it…" She was out of breath and said in broken sentences like someone was chasing her, "…Daniel, we are in trouble…Fiasco...XYZ-2421-ERA…"

The call ended abruptly; the last sound Daniel Heinrich heard was someone yelling her name.

She then hung up the phone, left him lost in thoughts. Clarabelle Lewis must have discovered something serious and gotten herself in trouble. She mentioned XYZ-2421-ERA, according to its name, it seemed like the advanced version of the original pill which made the situation more complicated than it already was.

Daniel Heinrich and Velika O'Sullivan met up behind the central pillar in the hall. Daniel Heinrich joking said how it looked like that secret intelligence meetups during the Second World War.

"Next thing you know I'll be passing you a big brown paper envelope." Daniel Heinrich laughed.

"I'd like to see that happen." Said Velika O'Sullivan when they were walking to the lab and she passed the pistol to him, "Here, I got you a gift."

"Heinrich, be grateful." Velika O'Sullivan glared at him.
