Umi to Kaze no Oukoku

Eleven stories. Whose is this island?

"Thanks to Sands!

As he descended onto the shores of the island, Bassappa thanked the Sands for finding him. Rather than a beach, Lara would have liked to see the sand in the shape of a star that had been crushed by a perforated worm, and it creaked and spilled a salad underneath.

A little bit from the coast is jungling, and Shaw doesn't feel like stepping in because he doesn't like snakes.

"The Golce continent also had snakes in the jungle ~. Insects are fine, but no snakes!

"Unless you threaten me, snakes don't do anything wrong."

I can't hear Sands' opinion, Shaw, but I'm shivering that I can't do this.

"Oh, I found something good"

I saw coconut fruit where I could take it from the beach, so I took one or two on the sands.

"Sands, give me a glimpse over the island"

Praised by Shaw, the upbeat Sands carefully circle over the island.

In the middle of the island is a mountain, and Shaw thought it might be a volcano from a gotten mountain skin. Try circling from the sky and Shaw will be happy that it's a pretty big island.

"Shit! I didn't bring the tools to measure the position of this island. Sands, can we come back to this island when we get back to the Cadfell?

"I can come."

"Sands, that's amazing! Then let's go home to the Cadfell!

Shaw returned to the Cadfell at Sands' disposal, reflecting on the need to carry measuring tools from now on.

I was worried about Shaw when Captain Lessa was supposed to be back from the lookout quite some time ago on the Cadfell.

"You can see the dragon at nine o'clock."

Captain Lessa peeks with a telescope in the direction indicated by the watch and looks at the shadow of a small dragon and is horrified. Gungu The little dragon grows and descends on the deck with Bassa Bassa.

"Captain Lessa, we found the island. Look, it's coconut fruit."

Shaw jumps off the Sands and throws the coconut fruit he has taken at Captain Lessa. When the crew heard there was an island, they cheered.

"Page deck leader, quiet the crew!

On the orders of the officer, he walked with his back twisted, asking the deck manager's page to be quiet.

"Prince Shaw, what is the position of that island? Is there water on the island?

I fail to answer one of Captain Lessa's natural questions and blush in embarrassment.

"Eh, I don't know exactly where it is, but it's about seven parns north... it's a pretty big island, twice as big as Penang Island, but I haven't investigated the water... the jungle seems to have snakes..."

Captain Lessa, who looked at Prince Shaw in awe, even though he was a big shot, seemed sorry, let him regain his mind and take the helm north.

"It's twice the size of Penang Island, and if it's a jungle, there must be some water! If it's a deserted island..."

Wonder is swallowed as he gives orders to his crew to Shaw, who is reporting to Captain Lessa in a good mood that Sands has found him.

"If you're a deserted island, you'll belong to the discoverer. Will it belong to Prince Shaw?

"No, the voyage of discovery of this new route is ordered by King Aslan."

"I was wondering if the Cadfell would have a reward, too."

Even the officers are standing up, so even if the deck manager yells at the crew to calm down, it's not going to work.

"I'm going back to the island and I'm going to measure my position."

Shaw measures the position of Sands and the island, saying that if the Cadfell doesn't make it to the island, everyone's expectations will just be disappointed.

Writing an X on the island's position on the nautical chart in the captain's office, Captain Lessa confirmed that it was east of the midpoint between Penang Island and the Golce continent and ordered the officers to head to the island.

"I see the island."

In watchful language, everyone stares on deck. The officers looked in the direction indicated by the watch with a telescope.

"The island!

The crew, who were anxious to sail through the unknown Great Seas, were pleased to jump up.

Captain Lessa sent an official investigation team to the island.

"From above, you can see the whole island."

I've known Shaw hates snakes since he surveyed the west coast of the Golce continent, but he sighs that it's such a serious matter. We can't wait for the crew to cut through the jungle, and Captain Lessa wants to check the presence of water and find out if there are any residents around the island from above with shaws and dragons many times.

"Prince Shaw, you're small over there but you have water. Can you come down?

As I carefully flew over the island, I noticed the water reflected between the jungle trees.

Captain Lessa, it's the jungle.

To the reluctant Shaw, Captain Lessa insists that I go down alone.

"Sands, get down as open as you can."

"I can't do it! There are plants around the water."

"Ah, that rock over there! Hey, Sands is clever, so you can get off the narrow side. '

Praised by Shaw, Sands stood brilliantly down on the rock, delighted to soak between the jungles.

"Do you hate snakes that much..."

Captain Lessa was frightened, but as he jumped from the dragon he saw the lake below from above the rock.

"Can I have a drink?

Shaw also reluctantly follows Captain Lessa and walks to the edge of the lake.

"Spring water, right? Did volcanic activity make the island? It would be nice to have a hot spring."

To a swallowing show everywhere, are you a big shot? Are you nuts? and Captain Lessa with the uncanny doubt, but stopped trying to drink the spring water.

"We need to investigate the water quality. Let the officers bring the water quality survey tools."

"Would you like to leave Captain Lessa here? If even a snake... no, it would be hard to have hostile residents"

The snake is fine, Lessa, but as a captain, I reckon it would be awkward if anything were to remain on the unknown island by myself, since the commander would be absent.

Send me to the investigation team on the beach.

I wondered how to use the prince, but I excuse myself for having to investigate and head to the Golce continent.

Shaw sent the Cadofel officers back to the lake with water quality survey tools.

"You can drink spring water. There are leaves and branches deposited in the lake, and there are bowflies. It's a little cloudy, so washing your clothes and body will be fine, but you should not drink it. But you can use it as a water field once it's serviced, and maybe you can dig a few more wells near the sea."

Securing water is important on the voyage, so Captain Lessa was pleased to know that the island's water was drinkable. The investigation team that landed on the beach cut the jungle to the lake and discovered a creek to the sea. The crew draws fresh water, bakes coconut fruit and native potatoes.

We also dispatched a survey team to the back of the island, but we couldn't find any shadows, and there was no way people lived on the isolated island of the Great Sea Plains.

"If it's a deserted island, who owns it?"

Everyone on the Cadfell was arguing, but Shaw kneels alone on the beach and wraps the star sand in a handkerchief. When Shaw stood up, Wonder wondered what he was doing, wondering how he had made the handkerchief look important to his chest.

"Look, this sand is what coral reefs smash with waves. Sounds like a star, thought I'd give Lara a souvenir... wouldn't you be happy with the sand?

Wonder discovered an unknown uninhabited island, but wanted to yell at Shaw worried that the pardon would please the star sand, but took a big, deep breath and endured.

"We need to name this island."

Shaw, who was wrapping some more sand in a handkerchief, looked up at Wonder and named him? I asked back.

"It was Master Shaw who discovered it, of course."

"Eh, it was Sands I discovered. Now let Sands think of a name."

Wonder hastily stopped Shaw from trying to get the dragon to name him.

"You are the dragon knight of the Sands bond, so it's better for Master Shaw to name you."

Wonder says he can't fill out the voyage log that the dragon is the discoverer.

"I'll ask Captain Lessa. The captain has full authority over the Cadfell."

Wonder thought that would not extend to Shaw, who is ordered by King Aslan to discover a new route on top of being a prince, with regard to ordinary officers and crew. Captain Lessa agreed and said Shaw should name it.

"Is that a name...... Lara Island? I don't want to name Lara on an island where snakes seem to be. Do you want me to give you your father's name? Aslan Island?"

"What would it be like to forsake the king's name?"

Captain Lessa stops when he reports such a name to King Aslan.

"Uh-huh? What about Sands Island? The truth is, Sands discovered the island."

Captain Lessa nods that if the dragon-loving King Aslan would not be angry even on Sands Island.

"Sands Island! Let's do that."

I wondered if the wonder I was hearing on the side was such a nasty decision, but I can't complain about Shaw and Captain Lessa's decision.

"I named that island Sands Island. Sands found it."

"Yeah, you gave me my name! I'm so happy ~ '

As Sands delighted to bore her huge body, Shaw thought it would be a secret not to name Lara because she seemed to have snakes.

"I guess the full investigation of Sands Island will be done by Brother Karin. Brother Karin, is it okay if there's a snake up there?

Wonder affirms that his cousin Karin is not afraid of snakes or anything else.

"After all, I wish Brother Karin would be my successor..."

Wonder admired Karin as an officer, but sighed that she didn't have as much planning and strong luck as Shaw.

The Cadofer, seven parns northbound to stop at Sands Island, escaped the currents that were refluxing. The crew also discovered Sands Island, dispelling the anxiety that they were making reckless voyages towards the end of the sea, and heading east towards the Golce continent.
