Through the Wings of Timeless Love

After Karla had changed they got out and reached the company at 8:15 am and a little late. Seb was already in his office preparing some documents but Karla went down to the canteen and bought some food for him. When she was about to go up, bringing him coffee and sandwich with wrapped fresh 'lumpia," she also passed by to Nomin's office and left him a piece of fresh 'lumpia', a sandwich and a coffee.

" Wow! thank you." Nomin blurted with all of his smile.

She arrived upstairs and was stuck seeing Camille sitting beside him. When Seb saw her, he stood up and hurriedly took all the food she purchased, including the coffee.

" Wow! such a beautiful curly brown-black hair, who maintains that? which saloon do you go for it?" Camille curiously stood up and moved closer on her hair.

" Awesome, it's so smooth and naturally healthy, haven't noticed this when you went to my party. If I may recall, you braided it so well that time, amazing! Whose saloon again maintains your hair?" Camille positively commented. Before Karla had to answer Camille's question, Nomin came in and excused himself.

" Excuse me Ms. Camille, here's your voucher, the finance officer wants to see you urgently too. Hmm..I also would like to ask the copy of the special power of attorney duplicate copy where you were given a full authority by Mr. Demido to withdraw all his shares in the company. For sure, when you're done in the finance, the auditors will investigate the papers too. It's actually my questions to the auditor and the manager approved it. If you pursue to withdraw the larger shares, under his name, my office is part of the claimants since the new site where my office and team are renovating these days was solely financed by the funds under his name.

" Oh dear...I forgot to bring it. I'll better go and come back tomorrow. By the way, your wife is very pretty Nomin."

When she was about to leave he passed by to Seb and loudly kissed his cheek while he was seriously sitting down.

" My darling Seb, soon...I'll make you my boyfriend." Camille announced.

They were all shocked and she got out casually. Nomin just let Karla sit down and followed Camille downstairs. Seb moved closer to her but she smiled and said,

" Don't worry that much, its already 8:28, come, eat as fast as you can, hurry." She smiled and opened the coffee for him. He was speechless.

" Look at me, the ISO evaluators will be here a little while, I'll wait for them outside and tour them to the three offices they are supposed to visit after you. I'll change it even without your orders. I'll go downstairs while you enjoy your breakfast, your brush is ready, your perfume is in your drawer." Then she left smiling at him, waiving her hand. After a while she closed the door but opened it again and peep a little.

" Don't worry of me. While I was at the canteen I had eaten already." Then she finally left.

While Godem in Seb was alone and looking at the food his wife had brought her, he was even grateful of her thoughtfulness. But he was also disappointed of himself with what Camille has done on him where he did nothing.

But he thought of not solving the situation yet, the ISO visit had to be prioritized and her wife downstairs even work harder to save him. With that itself, he quickly finished his breakfast, brushed at the lavatory and put some perfume. He fixed his table and prepared the manuals and forms he has to defend on.

" I'll be alright. We'll talk about it tonight, I'll bring her outside to cool down both our worries. Now, I'll perform better for her." He motivated himself to have further focus.

He called up Nomin on the phone.

" How is she doing."

" She's finely entertaining the ISO evaluators, she kept busy though, you know."

" I'll take her outside tonight."

" Good. I'll just stay in the house. You may bring her to colorful places, you go dine in the hotel tonight, buy her woman stuffs. Hmm...you may sleep in the hotel tonight and take your time. It's nice to bring her to a place with a different ambiance, somehow, it's helping to eliminate her worries and yours. I'll just give you a hint. Karla is late reactant sometimes, in such case, she will spill tears usually before bedtime. So that's why, staying in a hotel tonight seems a good idea, why worry, my family's asset will support both of you all the way, it's unlimited, you know that. Take her wherever you want, make her feel important, make her happy. Do you read between the lines?" Nomin offered some clues and comforted him.

" Yes, I got it. Thanks." Seb answered.

Another thing. I've heard Camille have plans of pinning you down. She has ear and eye among the employees and will even monitor your appointments. Careful, but leave her to me. I know her better so just focus to Karla." Nomin warned him about Camille.

So the ISO evaluators finally reached the manager's office at 9:30 am while Seb was vibrantly answering and feeding answers to their questions. Karla also assisted him better just as she properly presented the necessary evidences they were scouting too. The evaluators' team was done at 4:30 pm, after visiting some offices in the annex. Seb was very exhausted when the team left and closed his eyes while on his chair, pressing his head and relaxing. He felt her moving to him and massaged his shoulders.

" I'm so tired today, can I take you for a dinner outside? I already told Nomin."

" Hmm...let me think first."

He was smiling and saw her so cute while deciding.

" Okay, you may take me out." She smiled at him.

" Thanks my dear, let's go out now." Seb excitingly ordered.

" Well and good, me too, my eyes got blurry for today's evaluation, maybe getting out may help me restore my sight, haha." She forcibly laughed.

When they got down, Karla knocked to Nomin's room but Nomin conversed Seb in their thought to just lead her outside. Seb then urged her to just get out since Nomin already knew about the plan. So she did.

" Here's a heavy traffic, we're in the heart of the city right now. Hmm...we're are we heading, Seb?"

" We'll go dine in a hotel."

" Wow! I like to eat there, but isn't it too expensive. You can just take me anywhere you want." She smiled.

" But I loved to eat there." Karla thought.

Seb heard her thoughts and smiled.

" We'll also check in and sleep there for a night."

" What? hmm, but how about Nomin at home, he might wait for us."

" He knew already that I'll take you there. Our lives today have suffocated us a lot, we need to relax a bit and try a different ambiance outside home, right? and I'll tell you something very important too." Seb explained.

" Yes, it's true...but are we heading there? that hotel is very expensive, we need to save for our wedding, you know."

" Shh...don't worry about our fourth wedding, I personally saved it for more than eight years now, you've got five million for your wedding. Seb's family has billions of it, so my income is even enough, so worry not."

" Hmm, if you won't mind Suzette, how much would I pay?"

" It's Php 12,500, Sir."
