The world of American TV series: Starting with the L.A. Patrol

Chapter 3 I can’t keep this police car anymore

After repeatedly visiting Zoe's living room, kitchen, bathroom and even the cloakroom, two days had passed before Jack remembered that there was still one important thing to do.

There were three days left before he reported to the Wilshire Police Station, and he needed to rent a suitable house within these three days.

There are very few apartment buildings in Los Angeles, and most of them are single-family bungalows or two-story villas. Although Jack said he didn't mind choosing some neighborhoods with poor security, he was unanimously opposed by Zoe and Hannah.

Jack originally planned to ask John if he would mind sharing a house, but he forgot that John had a rich friend who was now living happily in a mansion in a high-end community.

In the end, Jack had to move into the attic of Hannah's house. The advantage was that he saved money on rent, and he used the money saved to buy a second-hand Chevrolet for transportation. The disadvantage was that he had to be Hannah's full-time chef and be fucked on the chest by the queen. There were several bite marks.

As for his relationship with Zoe, the two have agreed to only have one tryst a month until they find a suitable solution.

Rookie reporting day, patrol briefing room, Wilshire Police Department.

Jack glanced around and saw a few familiar faces. He understood clearly and went straight to the table in the front row to sit down.

It's just like a college class here. The veterans sit in the back, and the rookie police officers can only sit in the front row.

Within a few minutes, Lucy walked in with a depressed look on her face. Seeing him was like seeing a savior.

Waving to Lucy to sit next to him, Jack asked in a low voice: "What's wrong?"

Lucy began to complain aggrievedly: "My old car broke down early this morning and I was almost late. I pushed the car for two blocks and met a fool who actually tried to rob my old car in broad daylight. .”

"Before I came in, I met the police officer Bradford with a fierce look on his face. He threatened me and told me not to fall into his hands. If he became my trainee instructor, he would definitely make my life worse than death. Today I It’s really unlucky.”

"Uh." Jack considered his words and tried to remind Lucy: "Although it is tradition to play tricks on newcomers, but if you follow Murphy's law, I think 80% of the time you will fall into his hands."

"No." Lucy's mood worsened.

At the last minute before the briefing meeting started, John hurried into the conference room. While adjusting his uniform, he looked around. When he saw Jack and Lucy, he breathed a sigh of relief and sat down next to them.

Before Lucy could ask, a middle-aged African-American police officer walked in. He was the duty commander of the Wilshire Police Department - Superintendent Wade Gray.

Sure enough, when it came time to match trainee instructors and trainee police officers, Lucy was assigned to the unshaven and fierce-looking Bradford police officer, and John was assigned to Talia Bishop, an African-American policewoman.

Jack was assigned to a Latina policewoman, Angela Lopez, who was sitting next to Hannah. Seeing him looking in the direction of the two of them, Hannah blinked proudly.

At the end of the briefing meeting, everyone left the conference room and glanced at John, who was left alone by Superintendent Gray to lecture him. Jack mourned three seconds of silence for him in his heart. Commander Wade Gray, who was also a middle-aged man, had no respect for this Los Angeles police officer. The oldest rookie police officer in the city's history has deep prejudices. John still has a hard time to get the approval of the superintendent.

Dividing line---

"Is this car still good?" Jack frowned as he looked at the Chevrolet police car in front of him, while Angela Lopez on the side looked disgusted because this police car was her car.

They had just arrested a pair of guys suspected of breaking into someone's house illegally. Out of psychological stimulation, they broke into someone else's house and made a mess in their bathroom.

Jack locked the two people in the back seat of the police car, then turned around and chatted with Angela Lopez for a few words. As a result, the two guys started messing around in the back seat of the police car again.

After finally getting them back to the police station and locking them up, looking at the mess in the back seat, the two reluctantly put on gas masks and rubber gloves and started wiping down.

"I feel like I've lost something. I'm no longer the same person. As soon as I close my eyes, all I can think of is that eye-catching scene. Why can't those girls be as eye-catching as in the movies? Where is the beauty?"

Jack in the driver's seat complained while driving.

"Don't mention what happened just now, or I will give you the lowest score today." Angela Lopez sprayed the entire can of disinfectant into the back seat and warned with her eyes wide open.

Jack followed suit and turned his head and made a zipper motion on his mouth.

Angela Lopez's appearance is also slightly different from what Jack remembers. Her facial features are softer and her big brown eyes are very distinctive. However, it can be seen that being a patrol officer is indeed very hard and her skin is a bit bad.

Her character is a bit tomboyish, and she speaks and acts neatly, which is completely different from those female police officers who work as clerks.

"Turn right ahead. There is a food truck in the neighborhood park over there. We usually have lunch there." Angela directed Jack to turn.

After parking the car, Jack took out the large food box from the trunk that he had prepared before going out in the morning, and walked towards several simple dining tables placed next to the dining car. Two other rookie groups were already waiting for them.

"How was your morning?" Jack walked to the dining car and said hello to John and Lucy.

"Looks like someone needs a hug to comfort me." Lucy's ugly face seemed to have been trained heavily by Officer Bradford all morning.

"You dare to try." Lucy glared at John who was stupidly trying to open his arms.

John tried to comfort his little girlfriend: "Did the instructor give you a blow? This is the instructor's duty, trying to provoke us and test our true reaction."

"Just think about how to please him. Isn't this a simple matter?"

"Easy to say." Lucy glanced at him sideways: "Then you must already know what your instructor likes to eat for lunch, right?"

Looking at the speechless John, Jack ordered a burrito that Angela wanted and two bottles of Coke, then turned and walked towards the three instructors who were chatting.

"What is this? Did you make it yourself?" Seeing Jack open the food box and smelling the smell, Angela suddenly felt that the Mexican chicken tacos in her hands were no longer fragrant.

"Would you like to try fried wontons? I just made them this morning. They are stuffed with shepherd's purse and pork." Jack didn't know if she knew how to use chopsticks, so he handed her a plastic fork directly.

"There is chili sauce here, which I made myself. If you are not afraid of spicy food, you can dip it in a little."

Angela kept nodding while eating: "You can cook Chinese food by yourself? I have never eaten this kind of food. It tastes great."

Isn't it just to please the instructor? I'm good at this. Jack narrowly blinked at the two stunned rookies on the side.

I didn’t expect to be able to sign the contract so soon. Thank you editor for your great love. Please bookmark and vote~~~
