Part 3 Prologue: The Ununderstood.

Atop a broken city in ruins, a man wears a broken smile.

The mask over the face of a man standing on bare ground had cracks.

As a result, the smile drawn on the mask became a shattered smile, and it seemed as if it would disappear any moment.

However, the man managed to keep a smile and raise his head.

The Broken City.

No.

Destroyed city.

…No.

There was nothing.

This place, which was once called a city, was lined with tall buildings that seemed to tickle the back of the sky.

Now there was nothing.

All that exists is a land made of barren soil mixed with coarse sand.

The crystals of knowledge that humans have accumulated over tens or hundreds of years have disappeared and nature has taken their place.

As if something had swallowed all artificial things in existence.

The wide, flat desert with nothing left the viewer’s emotions dry.

Maintaining a smile that seemed to break at any moment, the man stared at somewhere.

There was another person standing up.

And behind him. The sun was laying down.

The sun was emitting light, burning the surrounding clouds red.

The hair of the person who received the light was also turning red.

The red hair that fell down to her waist instantly grabbed the attention of the person with the fragile smile.

“…Obscue…”

The woman, fully raised, spoke to the obscure man with a shattering smile.

“Why…Why did you do this? You just blew up a city!!”

At the woman’s question, Obscue smiled unsteadily.

That smile was a mixture of anxiety and a complex feeling of not being understood.

The obscure slowly.

In a very low voice.

I opened my mouth.

“If I tell you, you won’t understand, Eternal Shine. That’s for the best.”
